That intro scene was glorious. Using historical events and making them totally different with this timeline its amazing how it fit together. Also its nice detail you add War in Conflict with that 1983 war, i can imagine some game studio made this game in that reality, but the enemy is 3 reich and its puppet states. Here's all the references or mentions I could find about FAM. All Presidents from 1976 to 2004 (Except for H.W, he was VP in FAM.) were all presidents in the show. The Jamestown Lunar Base and Zvezda were also references (The only difference was both Jamestown and Zvezda were settled in 1973 instead of 1994 and 1998 respectively.) The United States Moon Marines, (Established during 1983 in the show instead of 2004.) The Mars Alliance including some of the members of the OFN is a parallel to the M7 Alliance. Hilton establishing it's Moon Hotel, as well as Helios Inc. Pathfinder being established as a 2nd-Gen Space Shuttle. But enough rambling from me. I love the TNO timeline and the "Realistic" progression of the exploration of space instead of the show's advancements in a span of 30 years.

I thought FDR never became president in TNO. I thought it was Hoover for a second term before Joesph Kennedy which leads America to stagnating and staying stuck in the Great Depression until they’re forcibly dragged into WWII. They also perform rather poorly as they’re humiliated in Midway but actually manage to route the Japanese in Iwo Jima which becomes the largest naval battle in history. Then they make reasonable gains and could’ve beaten the Japanese in the long run were it not for a German atomic bomb dropped on Pearl Harbor from a Japanese aircraft carrier completely obliterating the American Pacific Fleet and humiliating the American people.

I'm new to this alternative universe called TNO but I can say awesome intro and the music too I love the fact that the space race has advanced a lot to the point where there were full bases on the moon in the 80s and 90s while in real life there is no moon base until today (as far as I know) and that the countries in this universe use equipment and weapons similar to those in real life, such as the Americans with the m1 Abrams tanks, m16 rifle, bombers such as the b-52 and b-1 and fighters such as the f-22 and f-35 fighters and the Germans with tanks like the Leopards 2 I wonder what the Japanese equipment and weapons would be, locally produced military products like real life but without the USA? and the Russians with equipment and weapons such as aks rifles, t-72, 80 and 90 tanks, mig fighters and armored vehicles bmp, btr etc etc? and what happened to Brazil in this universe did they join the allies (pressure from the USA and sinking of Brazilian ships by German submarines) or the axis (the dictator Getúlio's new state) or did they stay neutral if it was one of these three options what What happened to Brazil, nothing happened or were they invaded by the allies or the axis and became a puppet state of one of these alliances? or did they see a regional power on the American continent mainly in the south? and did the siege of waco happen in this universe? I liked this and all your other TNO videos alot but I dont really get why the US and Russia would have so much tension after the war if there isnt as much of an ideological divide as otl, not to mention I can only imagine Russia's quality of life is utter garbage considering the whole living in apocalyptic conditions for 2 decades thing, even if they are an emerging power following ww3 their population cant be too high at all to warrant being such a threat to American unipolarity
the Russians are built different in that regard, they made it to space less than 2 decades after a devastating invasion and losing nearly a quarter of their population, they will always somehow be enemies of the US by the end of it all no matter what timeline lol
I think it's because the U.S. fears that Russia in its claims will make some conflict with Japan, since the Japanese during World War III were left out and technically the Russians still have resentments against the Japanese. The rest is calm waters.
Russian federation in this timeline would have around 100-120 million people and a very, very high standard of living even before WW3. Shukshin’s path brings it to #4 in the world economically wise, just above Italy. But that’s only the Siberian part. Moscowien experiences extreme 15 year growth after liberation and by 1991 the country is already big enough to battle it out with Japan and USA as everything’s restored and population growth is insane.
They wouldn't have moved to a populated city due to the threat of possible nuclear attacks. Instead the government relocated to the Cheyenne Mountain Complex

Imagine how many Call of Duty games have been made on the German invasion of the United States in the TNO lore. And the fact that modern anime the way it exists wouldn't in this timeline and wouldn't be popular since the U.S.A. never westernized Japan after the Second World War.
It must be because even though the USA was being invaded and the third world war was going on, there were still elections in the country and Reagan had already exceeded the term limit in his presidency and Congress must have put laws in place that limited terms like at the end of the Second World War, which is why presidents after Reagan only have two terms, no more.

I'm new to this alternative universe called TNO but I can say awesome intro and the music too I love the fact that the space race has advanced a lot to the point where there were full bases on the moon in the 80s and 90s while in real life there is no moon base until today (as far as I know) and that the countries in this universe use equipment and weapons similar to those in real life, such as the Americans with the m1 Abrams tanks, m16 rifle, bombers such as the b-52 and b-1 and fighters such as the f-22 and f-35 fighters and the Germans with tanks like the Leopards 2 I wonder what the Japanese equipment and weapons would be, locally produced military products like real life but without the USA? and the Russians with equipment and weapons such as aks rifles, t-72, 80 and 90 tanks, mig fighters and armored vehicles bmp, btr etc etc? and what happened to Brazil in this universe did they join the allies (pressure from the USA and sinking of Brazilian ships by German submarines) or the axis (the dictator Getúlio's new state) or did they stay neutral if it was one of these three options what What happened to Brazil, nothing happened or were they invaded by the allies or the axis and became a puppet state of one of these alliances? or did they see a regional power on the American continent mainly in the south? and did the siege of waco happen in this universe? I liked this and all your other TNO videos alot but I dont really get why the US and Russia would have so much tension after the war if there isnt as much of an ideological divide as otl, not to mention I can only imagine Russia's quality of life is utter garbage considering the whole living in apocalyptic conditions for 2 decades thing, even if they are an emerging power following ww3 their population cant be too high at all to warrant being such a threat to American unipolarity
the Russians are built different in that regard, they made it to space less than 2 decades after a devastating invasion and losing nearly a quarter of their population, they will always somehow be enemies of the US by the end of it all no matter what timeline lol

I think it's because the U.S. fears that Russia in its claims will make some conflict with Japan, since the Japanese during World War III were left out and technically the Russians still have resentments against the Japanese.

Shukshin’s path brings it to #4 in the world economically wise, just above Italy. But that’s only the Siberian part. Moscowien experiences extreme 15 year growth after liberation and by 1991 the country is already big enough to battle it out with Japan and USA as everything’s restored and population growth is insane.

Imagine how many Call of Duty games have been made on the German invasion of the United States in the TNO lore. And the fact that modern anime the way it exists wouldn't in this timeline and wouldn't be popular since the U.S.A. never westernized Japan after the Second World War.

It must be because even though the USA was being invaded and the third world war was going on, there were still elections in the country and Reagan had already exceeded the term limit in his presidency and Congress must have put laws in place that limited terms like at the end of the Second World War, which is why presidents after Reagan only have two terms, no more.
