- Lemon and Sultana scones cooked on the bake setting at 180c x 10minutes in the Cosori dual blaze
* so nice with lemon curd.
Ingredients
* 8 oz or 225g plain flour (all-purpose flour)
* 4 tsp baking powder
* ½ tsp salt
* 2 oz or 55g butter
* 3 tbsp caster sugar
* 2 oz or 55g sultanas
* 5 tbsp milk
* 1 egg, beaten
* grated rind of a large lemon

Hi Graham and Wendy, you two are like a couple of kids and you do make me laugh. The scones turned out lovely. I do like lemon curd but i would have had butter on mine. The presentation at the end looked really nice. When I was in Lidl last week i bought some gastro lemon and parsley yellowfin sole fillets, they were 2.40 for two and they were really nice. When I was in heron today they had a bag of just the fish for 2 pounds for four pieces so i thought i would give them a try. I can either batter them and do them in the chip pan or put some breadcrumbs on and do them in the air fryer
Hi Sandra. They were well presented weren’t they. It almost looked like a proper UA-cam channel. We had that same fish from Lidl’s. I thought I was really tasty but Wendy preferred the cod. I hope the fish farm heron is good. Please let me know will you. 🥰❤️😍😘👍 hope you both well 🤞

I love a fruit scone with jam and cream but as you know Graham not the lemon curd,each to his own,the scones look amazing,I'm also a big fan of cheese scones spread with thick salted butter,the cheesier the better,the way you made yours with the onion salt and cutting them like soda bread was great, another very enjoyable video guys 👌👋👋👋👋

I am having a well earned rest and watching you bake all things that are definitely limited as I lose weight🤦♀️but can bake for other folk in new oven after I have a rest day.

I zest my lemon over dry mixture as all oil from zest drops in as well giving a lovely tang and if being as daughter would say fancy a spoon of cornish cream with lemon curd totally unnecessary but delightful 😂

@@faithharper1756 hi faith, I started germinating a lot of seeds on damp kitchen paper in a small tub. They germinate quicker. Then you can space them out as you like. 🥰😍❤️😘👍
