    Though the high tech. room is tiny but for the price and the fact that you save time / money on transportation , the info about "Citizen M Schiphol " At Amsterdam Airport is excellent . 👍

    Thank you for making this video, it's really helpful. I’m planning on staying there, but my plane arrives late. Do you think it’s safe to walk to CitizenM from Schiphol by ourselves?

      Glad you found it helpful. Based on our experience, yes very safe. You do go under a bridge which can look questionable but we were there alone and not concerned. Safe travels and thanks for your comment

    What a hotel!! Those are the kinds of weird hotels I want to try out and stay at haha. So cool with the layout (all be it super tight) and lights and modernization. Also the self check-in was super cool, that’s what you call a true, legit, self check-In😆. Very cool!

    'Exciting and overwhelming' is such a nice way to define AMS... haha
    BTW, I'm personally a huge fan of citizenM Schiphol. I felt like a kid the first time I stayed there overnight! 😆
    Very happy to see you guys visiting places I've also been to!

      Hi @EverythingFlight, thanks for the comment and yes, I would definitely stay there again. Yea, between Transavia to Tenerife, our stay in Amsterdam seems like we are sharing similar experiences. What is your favorite Planespotting Hotel in Europe?

      @@KhizEesa I'd say Bloc Hotel in Gatwick is pretty neat, have you heard of it? If not, definitely recommended!

    So I’m thinking of booking this hotel for a layover I’ve never done that before. Did you have to go through security when you went back for your flight? Is it simple enough to do the whole staying put of the airport thing? 😮

    • @KhizEesa
      @KhizEesa  Рік тому +1

      We recommend this as a Layover hotel. It is outside of the airport so so have to pass through security and immigration (depending on where you are coming from). We looked into staying at the airport overnight but decided to be more comfortable at the hotel and based on our experience the hotel was the right choice. Hope this helps and happy travels

    I would like to do, i have layover/stopover for 12hrs in amsterdam so i think am allowed to do this ? After a being long journey. Is it inside the airport? I am so intrigued. Also did you book this on their website?
    Thank you for this informative vlog.

      The hotel is right outside the airport. You head towards the Train Station and from their you go out and walk about 15 minutes. It’s a great experience. And yes, we booked this on their website cause it was the cheapest rate there at that time. We are so thrilled you found the Vlog informative! Thanks and come back and let us know about your experience

    Everything is done better in Western Europe 😊 I love the use of space and how the hotel looks so different than an American hotel

    Is the room designed for 4 people?

    • @KhizEesa
      @KhizEesa  Рік тому

      The room is meant for only two people at most. For four people, you have to get two rooms

    • @peterbetz7257
      @peterbetz7257 Рік тому +2

      How will the hotel know how many people are staying in the room. It is self check in right?

    • @KhizEesa
      @KhizEesa  Рік тому

      @peterbetz7257 yes self check in. The room is not big enough for any more than 2. It will be a very tight squeeze

    • @chrispnw2547
      @chrispnw2547 Рік тому

      @@peterbetz7257 It is self check-in and the hotel staff would probably not know. However, the terms and conditions of CitizenM are very comprehensive and may have language in there about declaring how many people are staying in the space.
      The King bed can probably fit three. It would suffice for one night before a flight but for a multiple night stay it could become unbearable.
      A while back, I got to the airport 45 minutes before my flight and they would not let me fly. For international flights you have to be there an hour or more before the flight. I will be at the hotel in December 2023 for one night as that mistake cost me a fortune in the past.

    Do you guys ever work or just travel to all these exotic places all the time? How do you make money to travel all the time?

    • @KhizEesa
      @KhizEesa  Рік тому

      We work full time and kids go to school as well. Our way of travel is mostly when kids are off or on weekends. We book 8-18 months in advance, only book of it's super cheap and pretty much don't do anything outside of travel. Hope this helps

      @@KhizEesa it appears that you travel full time-Perhaps also make a video showing the other sides of your lives like what you do outside of travel, cars you drive or your hood.That way, we can see the other side too
