One of my all-time favorite ditties by the grateful Dead. Done so amazingly well it almost brought a tear in my eye. Just discovered these guys and I am excited for more.
Guys are the real deal
This is the best Beer commercial I have ever seen.
Agreed.. I'm really in the mood for some hip and pretentious California beer now.
@@Bluelightcheaphotel yep, Coors is very hip and pretentious!
The best in the world 👍🌅🌈👍
Hahahahaha fantastic
Lol
This would be suitable for La Blogoteque. Classic music by awesome young people who remind how how wonderful the world can be in 2017 can be. I get it.
We get it too.
I really appreciate that they tried to recreate the vibes of an old dead show with the video. Very reminiscent of the Veneta Oregon 72 show on the farm with the aesthetic.
I love this video. If I was there I'd be boggie out like a freak.
You guys are so good at that early 'Dead sound. Hope to see y'all in the midwest soon.
Awesome. Another extremely well done piece that evokes all the good vibes intended and more.
Best cover of this song I've heard - great job!
Such a great recording of a great tune!
This is so good
this is so damn good
niiiiiiiiiiiiiice
Anybody know what cams/lenses were used for this? A lot of the footage silky and deep.
fuck!! these guys are grate!
Sounds better than Phil Lesh & family bland. Good job guys!
Good playing but the filming/editing is great.
Candy, totally agree.
This camera man is displaying the peace ..love..and chillin’ that this amazing music and band brings. I LOVE the crowd interaction and the happiness... Camera guy should get an Oscar!
The guy in the Burn sweatshirt😁 his wife said be home before dark.
Grate great band. But I just looooooove that bass line.
These guys are fantastic. On this one, I just wish they had a better set of guitars. The strat sound is "spongy." Need a semi-hollow or a telecaster.
Nailed the Europe 72 sound. Great vocals
Spot on
Good lord. I was just introduced to these guys... I've been in and seen countless fantastic dead tributes but this is probably THE best take on Cumberland Blues I've ever heard from one. Haunting and flawless vocal harmonies and hot damn that bassist has Phil's approach and early '70s tone. The type of rippin' GD that takes you there and sends shivers down your spine.
Amen to that. For all you young kids out there, this is what Garcia Dead felt like. Keep this shit coming, boys. Yes!
They are better then God 🌅🌈🌅🌈🌅
100%
Guys are the real deal
Saw an Atl show. Stoked!
Great, any chance of getting a China Cat/Rider from you guys anytime soon?
That would be bloody epic. Seems like something that would fit very well with them...

@@zacjohnson164 Thanks a million. Really great!
@@severalseasons certainly! They are one of the best.
@@zacjohnson164 late to the party but thanks a bunch
I'll say this: it takes a lot of talent and togetherness to play this song. Congratulations
Not even a big "deadhead",but these guys are great. Id love to see them live
dose up fam
get on the bus, dude
Saddle up,oct in ojai.....chk t-master site,it's there..✌️
Hop on the bus Gus.
Been a deadhead for about 45 years, seen mannnnnny a shows etc. 😁😋😜🤪😴😁... you guys got the groove indeed! Watchin your videos, like nice sweet dreams... play on!
Yeah, now they just need an audience that isn't a bunch of idiot hipsters that actually show some respect to the art they're listening too. Dance you fucking losers!!!!
because...there’s like rules, man...ya know?
@@opie3833 haha.... When they performed Scarlet Begonias they had a much better audience...
Love their sound, nice old school analog sound , early 70s GD
Dead in the air, sun shining, beautiful girls... Heaven on Earth
Amazing Vibe! Everyone is chillin and grooving! One of the most radically enhanced freak outs that you can throttle your gray matter with!
I just discovered you guy's, and I've been a DeadHead for 30 years (damn I'm old)! Anyways just thought I'd let you know that you guys are superb! If I had a better vocab I'd use a better word, but superb means allot coming from a real DeadHead!!! Keep on rockin' out fellas! I live in Portland but I'm with my family at the moment in North Carolina, so if you don't mind, COME TO RALEIGH OR WILMINGTON N.C.!!!!
My god I'd so much rather see y'all than Slow & Co or DSO
This makes me really really happy.
Live at Lyceum 5/26/72 seems to be the vibe here. Love these guys.
WTH? These guys are way better then Mayer & Co. And looks like Duane Allman and Berry Oakley are in the band.
If only they could play like Duane
@@westkarl91 Takes time to get that good.
If you play Dead & Co at 1.5 speed it sounds like this and better
Whoever the video peeps are, bravo, was transported back to the 70s.
They should have a law in the USA against these guys being so good 15.5/10.
I'm really rather impressed.
But who was the costume designer
Cosplay convention for hippies.
its just LA my dude
1970's dear. Their sound replicates ths times of that decade, right down to the camera filter. They put so much work into their video's and have it down pact.
I'd be sweeping all those beautiful women of their feet and showing them how to groove to the funky beat of the good all Grateful Dead!!
God bless Jerry Garcia!
No you wouldn’t lol
@@Johndoe-gd4tb he might. you dont know
Pigpen was the man..
My friend unsure if you aware
This was less than 10 years ago in LA
85% of those chicks scissor, the other 15% are up on Syphillus Hill!
You guys Rock....play at the Showbox in Seattle and I'll be there.....
omg this was so fun to watch. the vibe was spot on and they can groove nice nice nicely
You guys are the best and I'm so glad your getting lots of bookings and shows. You're in high demand and for good reason! Sound quailty and mixing is crystal clear as a bell and second to none...😊🍄🌿😊🍄🌿💜💚💙🌿😊😄
For everybody who thinks D&Co is fantastic, THIS is how Jerry Dead felt. Raw.
Don’t be ridiculous dead and co still sound this good
You the best in the whole world. Even better then hip hop. Just the band alone dude 👍🌈🌺🌺🌈🌅🌈🌺🌈🌅🌈 @brbryantrogers IG #crackbaby #rockingchairrock
Dude, whole jam section after “not workin here no more” is fuckin STELLAR RIGHTEOUS
3:53
the more i listen the better this becomes this is fantastic well done fella's
Stone rippers. Thank you.
This is who we need for Jerry Day. The tribute bands they have are GREAT don't get me wrong and they're old timers who were connected through music and friendship to the dead but this is indistinguishable from live recordings I've heard while also being unique with their own voice.
awesome need to come up north to new England some festivals
Grooving... Jammin’ tight and right..... I would be dancing!!!!! I don’t know what’s up with that crowd... are they extras?... this professionally shot... I know lots of crowds you guys would have to separate from the crowd because of dancers bumping into your asses!!!! I’m blown away.....great job... this is your full time job right?...
The lives of the children of the elite. Must be nice. Awesome band though. Their covers are awesome.
What is wrong with the people in that crowd
Fluff Head a few are in the flow like the RHM @4:35
Matt Swift what the hell is a RHM? that means red head monday
Ummmm they seem to be having a really good time to me sooooo .. yeah .. idk
they need to be dancing
Hipsters
You guys are great! 🌹💀⚡️
Great music! As for the video....bunch of alcoholic hipsters ... in LA
Kudos to the band for such a clean recording.
Nice take on a classic!
Lame crowd...If your legs work and you ain't dancing you ain't on the bus...
This is awesome. Are y'all playing at a house party?
Really beautiful...music and cinematography. :)
Come play in the UK would love to see you live ,a warm summer evening would be bliss ,your amazing checking out all your videos 🤟
Really cool video. The sound was great considering you shot it outdoors.
Left handed upside down that's how I play and I could never do this wow
This is awesome
Bass.
my oh my, thank you boys you absolutely smoke. truly wonderful ya gotta fan in this 57 yr old head,
Great cover. A little slower than I like to hear this song, but still tits up for sure.
Damn, y'all are good. I'm just a dancing away in my kitchen.
Necter Longe or High Dive on a Saturday Night......
Fantastic cover!!! I would kill to see you guys. Well done, fellas!
Awesome..The looks on their faces...They knew the were killing it...
4:06 Val Kilmer is bummed about the selection of beer available. Lol
Keep to ourselves in the moment.
If you can't have the dead why not the next best thing?
lot of people looked like their dressed up for an altamont tv movie
Absolutely love it guys thanks for keeping the vibe alive ⚡️
come to nebraska or get me the hell outta here
Do all the hipsters know what album that's from?
Excellent cover of one of my favorite Dead tunes.
Looking forward to catching you guys at the Brooklyn Bowl on 8/9
Damn! When are you coming to the east coast?
My new favorite band !
I will see ya in SF in February
This is awesome I'm a fan now for life thanks
Just like the Grateful Dead did it, in the early 70s. But it started off as a Bluegrass song when it went to print, and morphed into this cornucopia of a song, wide-open for numerous Improv solos...it was tailor-made. Like Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard on LSD.
Amazing to watch this again, I can't believe it's been 5 years.
I was lucky enough to see and record their only Toronto tour stop with the original line up, summer 2018.
These folks are by far the best option to get a real 70s Dead show vibe. Better that DSO imo, and light years better than Dead & Slow.
Filming is really great here, can you tell us more about how you did it? It seems so 60s/70s.
They probably filmed it with an actual film camera
@@brandonvalentine2555 It certainly seems like it. Either that or some filter
@@mariomatovina4 They seem to have added a lot of noise to the video during certain parts to give it an aged look, along with a yellowish tint to the whole video
Great cover! Super talented.
A valiant effort, this is one of the hardest Grateful Dead songs to pull off and you guys almost did. The harmonies were on, but not very strange, and I felt the lead guitar lacked that hip bluesy bluegrass energy that Jerry had. Jeff Mattson’s the only guy I’ve heard get it.
come back to Chicago
The band sounds great. But the crowd looks totally fake bunch of fake hippie types. Lol. . Just play the music. Beginning to wonder about this band. Saw another video with a big fake cardboard looking wall of sound.
y'all are killing it. can't wait to see you in Phoenix.
Matthew Perry same
I agree, fine music and video but why do I think we are selling a product placement / lifestyle here?
They need to bring a large cooler of microbrews to hand out. Miller? Modelo? Yuck!
The white jumper 👍rocking 🌈🌈🌅🌺🌺🌈🌅
I'd be physically groovin on the music... not wasting my time talking.
Shred head here. 😊
ces mecs me filent la banane, sont carrément dedans, gros feeling, bon son, good weed...
I have ride cymbal envy.
Hipster au go go
nasty rendition
Iconic video
Get that “good feeling”
My happy place.
Lovely cover! Thank you so much for posting.
Fuck yeah
