Best goddamn St. Stephen ever... Period. I've been listening to this jewel for years... just keep coming back for another little dose.🌹
From an old Deadhead circa 1967: HELL YEAH!
Of all the countless Dead cover bands out there, these guys sound the most authentic to my ears. They just nail it. I actually in some ways prefer listening to them over the Dead because they don't make as many mistakes, lol.
The music never stopped
Lovin the 72 Beat club show reference
Shred is the best GD cover band that I have seen since cubensis over 25 years ago!
now this is a grateful dead tribute band alot of bands doing dead music probably shouldnt be, you guys shouldnt stop
This aint no tribute band. Man, these cats are playin' Dead.
yeah i know thats why their a dead tribute band take another hit dude
the music never stopped...

I knew they would have the scream in this song. Great job! Bass is on point, and it makes a world of difference compared to Oteil with Dead & CO.
I agree this bass jumps oteil I don't hear it. Sad because Phil is soooooooo good. There is a New minglewood blues where phil is playing lead I swear.
I agree. They should get THIS GUY into Dead & Co.
Agree. Oteil not adventurous enough and you need to listen to them respecting the frame of reference that they can only get up so many beats per minute these days....
It's the oversized glasses. Gotta talk Oteil out of contacts.
Love it!
Side note: The singer is playing a $300 guitar and the bassist is playing $3,000 bass :O
And it sounds priceless
The singer is playing a $300 guitar STRUNG UPSIDE DOWN!
@@naturalmystery technically it’s strung normally, he’s just playing it upside down
Irrelevant.
If that’s a real Alembic bass, I imagine it’s much more than three grand lol
What a wonderful treatment of my favorite GD song. Bassist Dan Horne even looks like an amalgam of Lesh Weir and Garcia.
Plantspotter69 I don't see the Garcia. But Lesh and Weir definately!
Hi Diane, the Garcia is very subtle. Mostly facial expressions and probably the glasses too.
I was thinking lesh and neil young. Maybe I'm just weird
Best dead cover band around, wow!
The best Dead cover I have ever heard.
2:53 is one of the better moments on YT
They sure as fuck got the visuals and attire down, lol. Terrific tribute band, and certainly one with a future. Sounds terrific, I wanna hear them do the eleven and death don't have no mercy
SOUTH CAROLINA LOVES YOU GUYS
How on earth can I get a hold of these guys to boom a show!!!
Shoulda went into the 11
One man gathers what another man spills!
Wow these kats are awesome! That bassplayer has Phils sound right down!
No doubt. Dan’s the shit!
That Alembic he’s playing doesn’t hurt either
Gotta tell you guys: you capture the energy spectacularly! I attended probably 30-40 shows between 1980 and 1996 (Further), and never have I felt such a strong sense of recalling and honoring those experiences. THANK YOU!
Amazing 👏
Great rendition. Love the bass lines.
PERFECT!!
Nailed it!
Brilliant, as always...please, give us more...the entire catalog...;-)
Wish I could like this multiple times, some heat right here
LOVE this video! Love a live show even more...
These guys are better than the current line up
I totally agree!
Totally, its the third video i' m watching...fyberglasted by the music AND the vocal
They are, aren't they? Young and full of energy. More soul than Mayer.
They are playing for the love of the music. Not the money!
Bill Brooks Yes! They are playing for the love of the music. Not the money! Amen
Fantastic!
Wow, they are great
The music never stopped!!
damn these guys are good
Innnnnnncredible!
That was great... 🌳
UNBELIEVABLE
These guys are so damn good;
These guys are so darn groovy✌🏼
Wooow! Awsome band!! sounds pretty nice! and the footage very cool!
Love this so much carrying on good music same but diff
What a great band, and to cover the Dead so well, really enjoyable
Great!
Excellent. Thanks for sharing.
These guys are amaze balls.
Add me to the list of those seeking out more. Very impressed.
He is playing that Squire left handed AND upside down, yeah?
I believe it is actually a right handed Squier played backwards. He doesn't change the string standard order
@@gabrielnavarro749
That's what he said..lol
@@alexcastro7339 now that I read it again yes haha, however "upside down" is kinda ambiguous. Anyway, I was prob high
@@gabrielnavarro749
It's all good dude...lol
Backwards.. upside down...
didnt even notice it was upside down. weird
Your vocals are fantastic and your playing, out of this world!
well done lads
Very nicely done, fellas! Jerry would be proud.
I could get use to this.
Bass is really on point.
These guys just make me :) :) :)
When are you coming east?!!!! HOLY SHIT WHAT WE ALL HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SINCE '95 thr have been glimpses but NOTHING LIKE THIS y'all GOT IT!!!!!!!!!
YES
Great job with the song that got me into the Grateful Dead ....
same here. then dark star
sick
THIS BAND IS THE SHIZ!
Great fucking version I need to see a show now
You guys fucking rock man!!!!
video editor did a great job
Unity
Wish these guys were on archive so bad, I can't find a full set anywhere online.
They played lots of shows in California in 2017 but I don't think they have any tapers that go.
gratefulshredmusic.com/music
Someone in the band needs to become the taper and post on archive
Don't stop what you're doing
Nice
0:55 epic 60's camera work!
Dank
Saw these guys in ventura skull and roses 2018!! . guys are fuckin talented
tight
Holy fuckin ‘68 St. Stephen Batman.
SOUTH CAROLINA WAS DANCIN HERE
Tinc drip, slip trip, wash flip,A bow and a tip
Seriously awesome guys. Only one question: Why only 1 drummer?!?! LOL!!!
You guys should do a side gig as a Canned Heat tribute band, too!
EJ's Home for Wayward Music thanks for the idea, buddy!
Hey it's Pigpen on the keyboards
Their drummer is solid as fuck on this one
Better vocals than the actual Dead most of the time
Sweeeet! You guys gotta do another set before the Dead&Co. concert on July 7th at Dodger Stadium! :)
Why not go to one of their actual shows in LA?
^ Well worth your time brother trust me.
Incredible! Is that an Alembic bass?
Right the fuck on when I’s the next show
Très impressionnant ! Mieux que l'original? C'est la quintessence du GD. Question : quelles créations ce plus jeune groupe peut-il faire, alors que Jerry est au Ciel?
bassist jams
What would be the answer to the answer, man?
dan horne is too under rated
Who gave this the 5 thumbs down?
All the members of the current Dead and Co.?
Why would you take all that time to become a good musician and then be a tribute band?
hicks727 they all play in other bands but they do this rad shit too
