@vontebrown1284 If Jimmy has any bit of brains he could have been some one like Hiroshi Fujiwar with the co-signs. Jimmy doesn't know how conduct himself when opportunities are staring him right in the face.
What kind of style has Jim created? FOH! From the trucker hats to incoperating streetware into the hip hop culture, P has always been ahead of the curve. Go back and look at what P was rocking in the 90s and see how shit shifted within the culture. Dudes was calling him weird and corny and then turnaroud and rock the same aesthetic, years later. Jim gets fly but that's not fashion nor trendsetting. He wasn't rocking shit that nobody else wasn't rocking. Pelle leathers and Chrome Hearts was around and niggas was rocking it before him. He just put a light on it because of his celebrity status. But he wasn't rocking nothing that most urbanites that get fly wasn't wearing. And cats gotta remember, P is a MUSIC guy. The fashion shit was just something natural to him. Virgil was a designer. Studied it for years. That was his only hustle.
Sounds like Jim is going through a mid life crisis, he didn’t bring anything new to fashion or had people saying I want to dress like Jim,dude is wildly delusional and most of all a hater.
skateboard P" the name says it all he made it really fashionable for young urban youth to wear white style skateboarding clothing... and has rode that wave into other silly crap like trucker hats and smokey the bear hats ...and jimmy did it with Rock Biker style Ed Hardy etc...smh goofys
On the subject of Jimmy and Pharrell. One is a smart individual who is able to market himself into a position and the other isn't. Pharrell can have three bad collections and it still wouldnt hurt LV´s profit margin.
Just like JIMMY, always trying to make conversation about THINGS THAT DONT MATTER. No one cares about you wearing Louie and or something Virgil inspired by Louie. Fashion is ONLY IMPORTANT TO IDOLS,FOLLOWERS OF IDOLS, AND SUPERFICIAL PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE LABELS MAKE THE PERSON WEARING IT, AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. I can be fly in ANYTHING I put on, because it’s IN ME! Not ON ME. I wish I would go give GUCCI,PRADA,OR LOUIE 3-7 thousand dollars on a shirt and a pair pants. Is it really FASHION or just STUPIDITY?🤷🏿♂️
True, fashion is just another coat of consumerism. To me its always about style. But alot of people dont know the difference. Hope to hear your thoughts on my content more. Thanks for sharing!
Consumerism? No sir… FASHION IS STRICTLY MATERIALISM; nothing more and NOTHING LESS. People are going to harm and take the lives of people for designer clothes, shoes, and accessories and anything that causes these degenerate behaviors to obtain, not worth a dollar of my currency, but to each their own. Would support the channel but it appears that it will be content pertaining to news FROM OR ABOUT IDOLS and I myself don’t “tune in” to condone how these IDOLS has brainwashed the people, but to condemn it. I pray your content evolves into something that’s actually BENEFICIAL to the PEOPLE rather than being a vessel for the delivery of MATERIALISM that plague the black community as a whole.🤷🏿♂️
Materialism is a “tendency to consider material possessions and physical comfort as more important than spiritual values.” Consumerism is “the idea that people should constantly consume goods and services” two things can be true at once. Your looking at it from one perspective (the truth you see and believe) but the actuality of people losing their lives over material goods is not as grand as you think, yes it has happen there’s no denying that but if that’s your only focus. You’re missing the point, Most people participate in “fashion” as an art from to express themselves whether you agree with it or not. From Designer to person. I don’t create solely for the black community this is for anyone who is looking to obtain knowledge about style. More on how to wear things if you actually took a look at my channel, providing the knowledge of not obliviously purchasing apparel giving more thought. But hey you have free will to do as you wish, I hope you actually take the time to create yourself and make the future you’re preaching about.
@ I’m sorry my brother but I must point out the flaws in your way of thinking…two things can NEVER BE TRUE AT ONCE IN THIS WORLD.There is ONLY what is GOOD and what is EVIL. Consumerism is something innate and NECESSARY TO SURVIVE AND THRIVE AND therefore GOOD IN ITS NATURAL STATE; BUT WHEN CONSUMERISM TRANSFORMS INTO “MATERIALISM “ those necessities that a consumer was seeking before are then transformed into an obsession with trend and the CAUSE ? STRICTLY FOR DESIRE and NOT OF NEED, which in turn creates the negative thinking of ways to obtain what’s desired, at times, even at the injury and death of another. There’s a huge difference my brother.🧏🏿♂️
@ Oh and one last thing my brother, I don’t consider myself to be a “preacher “ nor did I intend to sound preachy. But I felt compelled to educate you, so you may use your channel for something that will give your audience,no matter the shade of their skin, something more beneficial to their lives other than FASHION TRENDS of the “CULTURE.” Do you know the route word of culture? It’s “CULT,” which is why you always hear your favorite IDOLS screaming “it’s for the CULTURE, and DO IT FOR THE CULTURE.” So in reality, when you do whatever you decide to do, you do it in representation of the CULT. I only wish to enlighten my people, but if I shine the light on you and you choose to walk away from it and back into the darkness,my job was complete when I initially shined the light your way. You may continue as you have or take a moment, think of something better to offer the people, and become a beacon of light to then be able to shine YOUR LIGHT on someone else who thought in the error of the way you did prior to now.🤷🏿♂️
