I have to say that I’ve watched a lot of other videos similar to yours about interesting rides etc, but to be honest none have come close to the professionalism of the commentary or filming clarity and interest as yours do. For me the best part was your commentary on “being one with your bike” when you mentioned about the speed, the sound of the tyres, chain and open roads…. Could not add to that and I’m sure all of us who cycle feel exactly the same. 😀👍
Thank you so much for the feedback and comments once again, It's one thing being fit enough to do these rides but the editing can be a nightmare. It is all part of the fun and takes up quite a lot of spare time. I'm sure the Lads will also appreciate the comments. Take care .....01

18.3 avg on a 'leisurely' ride! Haha! Think our 60 mile club rides average about 17.5 so goes to show you the strength of the lads in your group Daz. Some serious bikes in there too, so I'm not surprised at those averages. Great video as always mate.
Thanks John , 17.5 ain't to shabby either pal. I cycled to Wilmslow on my own the other week which was exactly 30 miles in 1 hour and 30 mins but the ride just seems like you are at it all the time rather than going out for a leisurely spin.
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures I’ve always enjoyed my solo adventures. My Instagram is slowly filling up with Bianchi spam from various places in the North West! Shame this winter my Mrs wants me to get on a turbo for my 40th and start Zwifting away. 😩 Will try to resist for as long as possible! My plan next year is to get the train to Conwy and then cycle west back to Formby getting the Ferry over the River Mersey. I’m too scared to set up a channel otherwise I’d defo film it.
That will be a great ride back John. I have done loads of routes into and out of North Wales. If you get a good tail wind it makes a huge difference too. Why don't you give it a go with a channel. It can become a labour of love but it also helps you to reflect on your riding .
Looked like you had a great day out with the lads in this video Daz, only down the road from my local haunts. Not been up that neck of the woods, the roads definitely look better than the pot holey ones by me 🙂
I was wondering if you could recognise any of theses roads Di because to me after a while they all just look the same with the tall hedges that just seem go on for ever winding through the country side. It's a totally different kind of riding down here compared to my local hills where once you find your rythm, you can just keep on going for miles and miles at a nice steady rate of speed.

You've got to ride constantly through the week and throughout the year to enjoy these kind of rides otherwise you just get battered. Having said that, I can't keep up with em if I ride the winter hybrid bike and they are out on the Dogmas
I have to go through each clip and work out what I was trying to capture Owen. It's easier when you start to edit the day after a ride because it's all in your head.
Great footage and commentary as usual Daz. How do you cope with motorists that will get inevitably pissed off that you are riding in one long line?? Cheers for your thoughts and advice.
Hello Steve, Cycling on the roads today seems to be a bit of a lottery as to what might happen. Every ride no matter how careful and considerate you try to be, you will have a moment. I am convinced that some road users wake up angry and have only one thing on their mind, and that is to try and get as close as possible to a cyclist and create a scene. Another strange behaviour that occurs is usually from passengers who seem to want to scream as loud as possible as they pass by you, a bit weird if you ask me. Then you get the grumpy clever dicks who start talking about not paying road tax when cars like mine for example are £30 a year to tax. ( I am not arguing with a driver about 57p per day usage ) And because I can cycle at speeds that most cars will commute at, the drivers seem to want close you down or take your space on the road. I have been called a road hog whilst picking my line on a high speed descent where I was doing 42 mph in a 30 ! As for the number of cars that absolutely reek of cannabis, I am at a loss as to why they don't put police on push bikes just sniffing the drivers out. Then there is the big problem with Nitrous Oxide bottles being dumped by the bag full in the gutters by idiot drivers which then causes us cyclist to swerve out of the way of them. I seem to have got side tracked here Steve, I have learned one thing from riding on the roads today and that is to treat everyone as a suspect who wants to run into you. You can have the brightest of clothing and the best flashing lights out there but it sometimes isn't enough.
