- Here we have a nice player piano rendition of "When You Wish Upon A Star" played by J. Lawrence Cook and issued as QRS 7172. From the Walt Disney animated film classic "Pinocchio".
I've played this before on my aunt and uncles player piano I LOVE IT SO MUCH
To my brother, the jazzy star in the galaxy.
I really like this Swing-ish version.
I had the window open behind me. What you hear are geese :-)
Lol, I didn't hear a thing.

Wonderful! Thank you for sharing!
1:14 your dreams come true.... 1:18 flower glim and glow, let your power shine ... wait what
How did they have 1080p in 2010?
Where can I get the sheet music for this arrangement? Assuming it is humanly possible to play.
Ask for an "orchestral" arrangement rather than a "piano solo" arrangement from your music store.
Sorry, I don't quite follow. What do you mean by that?
I think Jim means the opposite. If you want to play it on a piano, then you need the "piano solo" arrangement. You'd only want the "orchestral" version if you actually want it to be played by an orchestra.
Unless there's some weirdness about naming of musical arrangements of which I am unaware.
For anybody still curious, I have finally went out and transcribed the piano roll. Have fun playing! musescore.com/user/5057121/scores/5177475
Cliff Edwards would be rolling in his grave hearing this.
Cliff Edwards was very much alive in 1946 when this roll was first produced.
I hate to tell you this, but he died a long time ago.
I want to see You Can Fly from Peter Pan on a player piano
Or The Second Star to the Right from Peter Pan.
@@jessicajones8147In the meantime, please stand for the Disney National Anthem.
To 100 years of magic
I thought they stopped making these in 1930 ? This somg is from 1940, how is this possible ?
They still made the rolls (they still do actually, the star wars theme made it onto a roll!).

Ah interesting ! I guess there’s an audience for everything haha ! 😊😅
At the begining, it sounds like chickens in the audio.
