One things I have found with AC/DC stuff even though I am a beginner is it has huge sound but I am surprised at how often you actually need quite a light touch when picking to get the correct sound.
I always laugh when people say AC/DC is 3 chord easy. When you really break down -For Those about to Rock, Highway to hell, or You Shook Me......you find out that Malcom is a genius and he isn't doing it the easy way. He plays intricate rhythm parts and never misses. The muting you have to do on Highway to Hell to stop the chords ringing is challenging not to mention the D/F# that quick changes to a G power chord. I have heard very few bands that can actually play it as recorded.
I have followed you for years, you will never know the debt that a lot of us owe you. Your hands down the best guitar tutor, all the way from music theory, feel and songs. You have improved my playing massively. Thank you sir and keep em coming.
You look like comedian Norm MacDonald, wearing Brian Johnson's hat, playing Angus licks on Malcolm's guitar! Very well played, Sir! Cheers from the USA!
I cant believe im actually playing this song. not quite as good as Justin lol but what i got is surprising to say the least. Im blown away. Thanks for the video bud your a great instructor.
I love how you added the complete play through of the song. It puts the whole lesson into context! It’s like when you arrive early for a guitar lesson and your teacher is lost in the moment! Truly honest rock!
This song is so rhythmic and deep, it reflects the soul of ACDC,it moves you, look at the audience at river plate, they know when the song picks up pace before the 2nd solo,it's awe inspiring to see thousands of people mesmerized and rocking as one,ACDC we salute you.
What an ultimate rock hymne. There are not many songs like that. You played it so good especially the guitar sound is absolut autentic. You made a really really good job! CHAPEAU! magic justin
Awesome Justin! Keep the AC/DC songs coming. You've taught me a lot, gone from total beginner, to being able to master most of the riffs in your series in little over two months.

Justin, nobody pays more attention to detail than you do, AND you make me laugh! Like when you were getting into Malcolm's intro to this song and said "I feel like I'm dirtying Malcolm's part!" hilarious... You always give us a great lesson with both you're teaching and playing ability... And of course in each video something to smile or laugh about. God Bless and keep them coming.
I was watching the music video from Big Country and the song by the same name. Bruce Watson looks to be playing a similar style gretch? maybe other type never fully seen the headstock. Sorry to distract from ACDC. I always struggled with the intro to For Those About To Rock! I salute you buddy.
I'm almost certain that for the intro you keep the middle string of the three open to give the 'harmonics' but I am playing on acoustic. I'd be very interested to know what all you electric players think. Fantastic song and brilliant lesson as usual! 🤘👍❤️
Now you know, how this tune blew me away when i was 15, ACDC had 3 Monster records back then in line....Highway to hell and then back in Black after the passing of Bonnie and for those about to rock
Uou so nailed it! You are such an honest cat....we all make those faces when playing this tune...it's got so much attitude!! Music is better with you in this world Justin...thanks f or what you do
The Song is a Killer Riff from a Rock´n Roll Legend! Whenever I hear this song I realize the difference between Rock´n Roll and bullshit music. Great Job Justin! THX
i knew the basic choards of this song already, thanks to my second older brother who lives a thousand miles away. I aprreciate your help. Most of the song i need help on Thank you
Hey Justin, ive been watching ur vids for sometime. Thanks man, youve taught me alot. Im terrible at guitar, but have loved playing for over 20yrs. (not consecutively) but alot of the great guys i used to jam with are long gone.... So now I jam with u! Finally subcsribed, keep rockin bro!
Playing an AC/DC song correctly is a lot harder than people think. Timing and feel is everything with them.
677moonpie Truth!
I didn't realize they were so complex til now.
One things I have found with AC/DC stuff even though I am a beginner is it has huge sound but I am surprised at how often you actually need quite a light touch when picking to get the correct sound.
I noticed another video of someone trying to teach the introduction, but the timing was off. This one is a bit better.
I always laugh when people say AC/DC is 3 chord easy.

He can't even keep timing of an AC/DC song though... did you hear the intro?

Jesus christ finally someone who understands rhythm, tempo, pacing & technique. Thank you.
I'm fed up with people not understanding the syncopations. Cheers to you!
I might have to learn some more ACDC. Malcom was such a great rhythm guitarist.
Jack Plays Guitar Yes, James Hetfield said that too!
His parts make me wanna play guitar more than Angus's parts any day! His stuff in Thunderstruck is absolutely epic but it's often overlooked!
Both are gods, but Angus is the better guitarist any day any place and that’s a fact
