I cannot make it to Tulsa, but this video has me so excited for Christmas. I wasn't even thinking about Christmas 15 minutes ago and now, it's all I am thinking about. I cannot wait to see what Rebecca has in store for us all this December. I know it will be spectacular. It always is.
We traveled 11.5 hours to go to this sale. My wife was so excited! After we got to Tulsa she got an email saying that everything was sold and it was canceled for the next day when my wife had her ticket to go to the sale. My wife was so disappointed and I was completely frustrated by the poor planning! I don't get why they would over sell tickets when they didn't have enough product to sell! They should have anticipated that for $250/tote, people would be stuffing their tote to the brim and if they didn't have enough stuff for people to be able to do that they should have stopped them from doing it so that they wouldn't sell out so quickly. Lots of people traveled long distances and paid for hotel rooms for nothing.
I think a great idéa is if you did a video decorating with the things that didn't get sold. Like maybe only a room or something. So that we can get ideas for what you would have done with things that maybe arent that modern nor go together and how you would make them beautiful.

You are the reason I repackaged all my Holiday Decor into clear totes. It took some money and a lot of time, but it was the best thing I ever did. I am not ready to get rid of my Christmas collections just yet. At least they are organized for my daughter if Jesus takes me home!!

Before I moved, I left a big box of Christmas decorations for the next door neighbour, who never met me. As we were moving out she thought we were the new tenants moving in. She said the last neighbours were really nice. I guess she liked the Christmas decorations. I gave her my gold season. I used to decorate a different colour for 3 Christmas seasons before settling on blue. I could only imagine going through Rebecca's Aladdin's Cave of Christmas. So many themes, colour schemes. I think in a way a lot of us grew up with those decorations, waiting with bated breath for the yearly Christmas videos. 'Coming home for Christmas', but online. Gotta love those decorations. You guys are gonna have a piece- many pieces of our collective UA-cam viewing history! Pretty snazzy! Talk about sentimental 😜 Rebecca might be responsible for giving us a decorating bug for quite awhile. "As Christmas as Robeson!"
I drove 12 hours to go to the sale and was beyond excited. We were in the third time slot for the Saturday sale and watched people from the first two groups leave with overflowing totes. Our group was asked not to overflow our totes because the first two groups had really taken a lot of the inventory but were told there was “still some great stuff left.” When I rounded the corner to the tote section, I would have laughed if I didn’t immediately feel like a complete idiot for spending that much time and money to come to the sale. It immediately felt like a scam. By 10:30 AM all that was left were scraps of used ribbons, cut greenery picks/sprays, plastic ornaments and pinecones. I had purchased two totes and was only able to fill one about halfway full. No way I even got $50 worth of merchandise, let alone the $500 I paid for two totes. I am definitely a sucker because I then paid $100 for two garlands I wanted but I at least wanted to leave with something nice for all that time/effort. I did send an email to the Design Sessions team because no contact was listed on the sale page requesting a refund and they did promptly respond and issue me a refund for one and a half tickets. I will give credit to them for that, however, I honestly think everyone should really be issued a full refund. The event really felt like it was taking advantage of her subscribers and generally nice people who just love Christmas, love Rebecca’s channel and are kind/don’t want to complain. This was very poorly planned and there is no way if they’d really calculated properly that you could have thought the amount of inventory they had would fill as many totes as they sold (while also allowing people to get a few nice/luxury items… not plastic ornaments I could get at Hobby Lobby or pinecones off a tree). Again, I do appreciate the quick response and partial refund but am disappointed refunds weren’t automatically issued to the groups with no product left and that nothing has publicly been said apologizing for the event. I think even if it came now or in the future, at this point, it would feel a bit disingenuous. In my email I told them I really hoped they automatically refunded the later groups and they said they were able to figure out a way to allow later groups to continue shopping. I’m very curious what this solution was as it seems from some recent comments the Sunday tickets were cancelled completely. Oh well, you live and you learn and I will never fall for anything like this again.

My wife is a huge fan of Rebecca and she was super excited about the Christmas blow out event. For the price, I did what I needed to do to get my wife there for the event. Thankfully I was able to surprise her with a ticket to attend. However, I must say. It was a huge disappointment. My wife won't say it but as a husband to do something like this for her, spend $250.00 on a tote and all she was able to get were pine cones and ornaments was a slap in the face. Sure she got a couple of small ribbons, a little greenery but thats it. I could have found these items at a garage sale or any retail store. When we were in line for our time slot the group in front of us had totes that were overflowing. Well past what the video said what was allowed. In our group there were people with not even half their totes fulls and nothoing left in the bins. The nicest things we got were items I paid extra for. I'm sure Rebecca had great intentions for this event. You can't always control what people do. BUt at the same time I would have thought before each group came in that more christmas decorations would have been added so everyone can get items close to being worth $250. I am sure we will attend other events she has. But will never do anything like this again.

I felt so disappointed for my wife! And agree won't trust this woman, and hope my wife cancels her subscription to her stuff.

What a great idea! On a much smaller scale I did this from my garage last year here in the UK as I had over 50 years of decor much of which I could no longer use. I donated most of it to the local pet charity shop. I'd love to come shop at your house though but I'd never be able to chose from all your fabulous items! Before I moved, I left a big box of Christmas decorations for the next door neighbour, who never met me. As we were moving out she thought we were the new tenants moving in. She said the last neighbours were really nice. I guess she liked the Christmas decorations. I gave her my gold season. I used to decorate a different colour for 3 Christmas seasons before settling on blue. I could only imagine going through Rebecca's Aladdin's Cave of Christmas. So many themes, colour schemes. I think in a way a lot of us grew up with those decorations, waiting with bated breath for the yearly Christmas videos. 'Coming home for Christmas', but online. Gotta love those decorations. You guys are gonna have a piece- many pieces of our collective UA-cam viewing history! Pretty snazzy! Talk about sentimental 😜 Rebecca might be responsible for giving us a decorating bug for quite awhile. "As Christmas as Robeson!"

She said that this year would be the best ever!
I drove 12 hours to go to the sale and was beyond excited. We were in the third time slot for the Saturday sale and watched people from the first two groups leave with overflowing totes. Our group was asked not to overflow our totes because the first two groups had really taken a lot of the inventory but were told there was “still some great stuff left.” When I rounded the corner to the tote section, I would have laughed if I didn’t immediately feel like a complete idiot for spending that much time and money to come to the sale. It immediately felt like a scam. By 10:30 AM all that was left were scraps of used ribbons, cut greenery picks/sprays, plastic ornaments and pinecones. I had purchased two totes and was only able to fill one about halfway full. No way I even got $50 worth of merchandise, let alone the $500 I paid for two totes. I am definitely a sucker because I then paid $100 for two garlands I wanted but I at least wanted to leave with something nice for all that time/effort. I did send an email to the Design Sessions team because no contact was listed on the sale page requesting a refund and they did promptly respond and issue me a refund for one and a half tickets. I will give credit to them for that, however, I honestly think everyone should really be issued a full refund. The event really felt like it was taking advantage of her subscribers and generally nice people who just love Christmas, love Rebecca’s channel and are kind/don’t want to complain. This was very poorly planned and there is no way if they’d really calculated properly that you could have thought the amount of inventory they had would fill as many totes as they sold (while also allowing people to get a few nice/luxury items… not plastic ornaments I could get at Hobby Lobby or pinecones off a tree). Again, I do appreciate the quick response and partial refund but am disappointed refunds weren’t automatically issued to the groups with no product left and that nothing has publicly been said apologizing for the event. I think even if it came now or in the future, at this point, it would feel a bit disingenuous. In my email I told them I really hoped they automatically refunded the later groups and they said they were able to figure out a way to allow later groups to continue shopping. I’m very curious what this solution was as it seems from some recent comments the Sunday tickets were cancelled completely. Oh well, you live and you learn and I will never fall for anything like this again.

My wife is a huge fan of Rebecca and she was super excited about the Christmas blow out event. For the price, I did what I needed to do to get my wife there for the event. Thankfully I was able to surprise her with a ticket to attend. However, I must say. It was a huge disappointment. My wife won't say it but as a husband to do something like this for her, spend $250.00 on a tote and all she was able to get were pine cones and ornaments was a slap in the face. Sure she got a couple of small ribbons, a little greenery but thats it. I could have found these items at a garage sale or any retail store. When we were in line for our time slot the group in front of us had totes that were overflowing. Well past what the video said what was allowed. In our group there were people with not even half their totes fulls and nothoing left in the bins. The nicest things we got were items I paid extra for. I'm sure Rebecca had great intentions for this event. You can't always control what people do. BUt at the same time I would have thought before each group came in that more christmas decorations would have been added so everyone can get items close to being worth $250. I am sure we will attend other events she has. But will never do anything like this again.
My wife got an email after we arrived in Tulsa (after a 11.5 hour drive to get there) telling us everything was sold and the sale was canceled for the next day when her time slot was scheduled. My wife was told that people the previous day over filled their totes and took way more than they were supposed to and that's why they ran out of stuff. So unprofessional and such poor planning! I felt so disappointed for my wife! And agree won't trust this woman, and hope my wife cancels her subscription to her stuff.
@@Tfrozenfish Sorry to hear about that. We met people from Wisconsin, Colorado, Texas, all over the US. Lots of disappointed people. I think maybe the first group was satisfied.

What a great idea! On a much smaller scale I did this from my garage last year here in the UK as I had over 50 years of decor much of which I could no longer use. I donated most of it to the local pet charity shop. I'd love to come shop at your house though but I'd never be able to chose from all your fabulous items!
