Great videos, I'm on a bit of a budget, what would you recommend between the p2 and the t2L ? I'm going to be using it for close to medium ranges, and I'm going to bring it along camping and try and see some wildlife at night in the forest
Good question. I would recommend the T2L because of the manual focus. the P2 is good for the medium range. but far and close not so much, but the price reflects it. @@cleanunbox maybe use some tangible numbers..what are these "big" discounts? as far as I can tell the T2L is around 300USD with EU tax and shipping to EU. what values are you able to resell it to? and from where are you? The result is decent for an 192x256 microbolometer though the palettes leaves some to be desired but it seems to work at 25Hz( that a big plus). One of the Palette I like most on fx Seek are the "Tyrian". ua-cam.com/video/2rNIJhWiRtM/v-deo.html That infiray-logo is that user chooseable and not hardcoded like we see on some?? basically, any of these cameras are good for that. it mostly comes down to how much you want to spend on it, i would recommend the T3S. but if you don't want to spend much on it then maybe T2L. Hey can you tell me is there any minimum focus distance difference between T2L and T2 Search ? And if you could share some difference between those two. And which one would you recommend to buy ?
i think as i tested the T2 search is about 20cm max. and the T2L is around 10cm maybe 8. but just released a new model. so my next video will be soon that model. 8mm distance macro :D and 450celsius maximum temp.

How useful is manual focusing if do not use a thermal imager to repair computer boards? compared to the P2 model. does it make sense to overpay if i want to watch the heat loss of the house ?
I have noticed that a lens vs bare sensor always wins. even if you have to pay a little extra. I mean today you just want to watch heat loss, but maybe tomorrow you want to use it for more advanced stuff. That is my first thermal camera. It is very good hardware and very small. Also you can focus very close to objects about 2-3cm and inspect them easily. BIG drawbacks is the software. Total crap. Constantly crashed when you try to start camera. If you want to see something in gallery from app also crashed. Also there is missing manual control at all of temperature colors range. I really like to pay for better soft like Therm Viewer which is not updated from almost 3 years and didn't support T2L.

unfortunately, they don't have an iPhone app yet. probably apple want to charge too much for the license, But you can connect to a PC with the SDK, And if you need it for Professional work like mobile phone repair then you obviously can get easy an android tablet or phone that you dedicate to the camera itself. Hi. 1. I have a program from the factory but maybe I'm doing something wrong but I could not make it work yet for PC. but if you just want to put the image out to a big screen then you can always just mirror the phone with chromecast or miracast to android TV box or TV :D 2. There is no IR sensor that can see visible light, Factories adding a secondary VGA or HD camera to other models to improve the image quality because they are lazy to make a proper algorithm for the chip, and the higher-res sensor cost exponentially more expensive as pixel count increases. with the T2 you basically don't need a visible camera due to great resolution and proprietary algo that results good image quality, also. once I find a clean solution to connect to PC I will make a separate video about it. there are paid programs that can handle it but I did not want to pay for them just yet :D
@@cleanunbox I have a rx680, it doesn't appears as a USB cam, so it's not possible to gather any information from the sensor as the product doesn't allow user to do this. If you see the camera in your device manager in your pc so it's highly likely that you will be able to get the image from your pc
does the app allow you to manually adjust the temperature range like you can on a flir? for instance if you have multiple hotspots and you want to dial in on the hottest point
For the T2L or T2 search, the factory app doesn't have that. The P2 has some sort of that. for the T3S (upcoming video) have that in a paid app called Therm Viewer,
The T2S+ is built on the P2 platform but with a manual focus that is capable of 8mm close Marco. That will be my next Thermal camera review. but they don't have stock. Coming soon :)
and dont forget. only buy from the Infiray official aliexpress store cause 3rd party sellers just cant deliver the same customer support and delivery speed.
I see difference only in temperature range. In app there is two ranges from -20 to 120 C and 0-400 C. Second range didn't work with T2L so I suppose it is for T2S+ model.

На моем видео о поиске T2 / P2 вы можете увидеть, как работает поиск T2 на материнской плате ПК. Эти SMD иногда меньше миллиметра. И в этом видео T2L вы можете видеть, что он может быть довольно близок к любому конденсатору даже менее 1 мм. Если бюджет вызывает беспокойство, я говорю, что выбирайте T2L. It really depends on what you want to do with the camera. all 3 entry-level camera is optimized for a different task. and of course it also depends how much you want to spend :D
@@PantherSpawn the seek compact pro have higher resolution but the algo on that not giving as nice image as the algo of the T2 series. all seek models have an unbearable low 9hz frame rate. every infiray model has 25hz. it's just a much more pleasant experience with infiray. if you buy first thermal imager even that 100 bucks is a waste of money for the Seek because you can get a T2L in my discount for 290 with holder included. and its way better than any seek phone camera model. also, the seek models require additional lense for macro. the T2 series have the ability built in. If you want to ask infiray users join my discord and ask around, people uploading pictures and videos with their models.
@@cleanunbox no they dont..you gotta be pretty new to Thermal cameras if you think all Seek Pro's are locked at 9hz.. maybe in Russia or some weird regimeregion and ITAR regulations but for the western market that ain't the case. I got myself a Seek pro FF in 2017 at 300 bucks.(USD) from Ebay. and that is running around 18hz.. you can see the mediadump ua-cam.com/video/Im1_Dyf69to/v-deo.html with these dongles.. the app is so vital, and its here these CN InfiRay units comes short..also prefer the palette of the Seek's and the app.. Personally I would go for an T3S.. but seems they have raised in price like so many things... back in 2018 we could get them for 500USD from CN sellers

Infiray cameras don't need additional lens to get macro or nice resolution, and if comprehensive software important for you than visit our discord and test out our community developed app for this cameras made from the SDK that Infiray provide for every buyer if asked.

T2 Search is more for long-range detection but also closeups the T2L is optimized for macro and medium distance. The T2 Search cost more because the larger lense and lens material is expensive (Germanium crystal)

I can assure you, not a single second in this video is FAKE :) Even from 14:15 , you can clearly see that those objects in my living room are not able to emit visible light and you can see the veins under my skin on my hand, And thermal cameras don't see visible light.

@@cleanunbox no they dont..you gotta be pretty new to Thermal cameras if you think all Seek Pro's are locked at 9hz.. maybe in Russia or some weird regimeregion and ITAR regulations but for the western market that ain't the case.
I got myself a Seek pro FF in 2017 at 300 bucks.(USD) from Ebay. and that is running around 18hz.. you can see the mediadump

with these dongles.. the app is so vital, and its here these CN InfiRay units comes short..also prefer the palette of the Seek's and the app..
Personally I would go for an T3S.. but seems they have raised in price like so many things... back in 2018 we could get them for 500USD from CN sellers

Infiray cameras don't need additional lens to get macro or nice resolution, and if comprehensive software important for you than visit our discord and test out our community developed app for this cameras made from the SDK that Infiray provide for every buyer if asked.

@@cleanunbox since 6 days I try get to Discord, I try from android phone or PC but when I make account, discord ask me about where is boat, plane, lorry, whatever (human verification captcha) I click "I a human" and again I must click little photos of boat, lorry and others :) and again and again, I don`t know why. Ok I try from my wife`s phone and ask about my problem. Thanks!

T2 Search is more for long-range detection but also closeups the T2L is optimized for macro and medium distance. The T2 Search cost more because the larger lense and lens material is expensive (Germanium crystal)

@@mosyui Indeed. The T2 Search is more outdoor. but as I tested it's usable indoors as well. In my other videos, you can see how nice is it to repair SMDs for example. so as this T2L as well. By the way, then congrats on your new T2 Search, you will enjoy it for sure :)
11:50 there is Thermal looks like a FAKE... looks just iron and another FILTERS on USUAL phone camera
I can assure you, not a single second in this video is FAKE :) Even from 14:15 , you can clearly see that those objects in my living room are not able to emit visible light and you can see the veins under my skin on my hand, And thermal cameras don't see visible light.
