I borrowed the game from my older cousin back in the day, but I was to young to play the game decently. I got my eyes on the new one, but you really want to make me to reconsidder getting this game as well...

Just an observation: funny that all three of those other games at the end prominently feature knives on the box art. I suppose when a game doesn't heavily feature guns, knives are the next most advert-friendly item to hand.

Glad to see you back. Great review. I'm not very good at this game but I like it. I didn't know the GoG version came patched. I got the Steam version but the only problem I used have was running cutscenes but running my computer on admin fixed that problem. Are you going to review Thief 4?

Its sad I didn't get the chance to play this at the time, which makes trying this game today a lot harder...
I just don't have the patience for the slow pace and clunkiness of the game (how Garrett walks specifically) and the dated visuals...
Still got a chance to play deadly shadows though, I really liked the main character Garrett and world the game takes place!
To bad they wont be using the same voice actor for Garrett in the next game, everything about the new thief story is looking boring and generic...
But hey, at least they came about their sense and removed the exp system from the new thief game, so there's still hope in the gameplay department...
