I use Google Translator and then practice with people. Always say "Como Se Dice" which is "How do you say". For example "Como se dice breakfast en Espanol?" its "Desayunos".

My family is thinking of staying at the el cid resort. We would do 3-4 days of relaxing and 3-4 days of adventuring. Do you think this would be a good place for a family( 2 kids, 16,7 and a 20 year old child making it 3 adults)

Depends on if you want relaxation or not. Puerto Morelos relaxing, Playa Del Carmen is the Fun zone.
