I can't blame him because that's just the way he is. The other guys though certainly, Cain looks like a Sicario and not a man you want to meet on your front doorstep. Could have replaced him with Francis Ngannou honestly, that monster of a man is legitimately terrifying even if the commentary would basically be a similar repeat of Rumble Johnson. Ngannou would probably kill the average person with a single punch. An alternative would be MMA legend Igor Vovchanchyn, he was called 'Ice Cold' for a reason. @@jlogan2228 Cain was a total beast man. But all hail Stipe!!
Fun fact for anyone who cares: Some people actually tried to mug CroCop and his buddies once. As you would expect, it did not go well.
Yeah but out of all of them Stipe isn't that intimidating. Aside from his size and fighting skills (that all MMA fighters have) he doesn't come across as scary, if anything he comes across as an approachable and friendly guy. I can't blame him because that's just the way he is.
The other guys though certainly, Cain looks like a Sicario and not a man you want to meet on your front doorstep. Cro Cop is intimidating as a man comes and his personality reflects that too. Fedor just didn't seem human, was he a Soviet lab experiment? A real-life Terminator? Or a humanoid from outer space? Nobody knew and his void demeanour only added to this mystique.
@@madgavin7568 I agree. Stipe is like a big child and a killer in the octagon. No.need to look tough.

Cro cop outstared like him like a champ!! and ofc kicked his ass twice

Cro Cop should've been higher imo, his demeanor back in the day was simply terrifying. A REAL warrior amongst fighters, just look at his staredown with Wanderlei Silva.

Yes it would.

Anderson Silva. Enough said.
I think Fedor's brother Alex deserves a mention. He was actually crazy in and out of the ring. His lifestyle meant he didn't reach the levels he should have.
Dude looks like a serial killer now with that beard
dude went to prison as well
Yes he certainly deserves a mention. Those others where cold and or intimidating inside the ring, but he was Also prone to psychotic violence outside the ring. That alone makes some one more intimidating
He straight up hunted and killed a bear with just a knife
They both have the same coldness but the added looks of alexander make him way scarier.
Robbie Lawler deserves a place on this list! High on this list.

Although Wandy has the most chilling staredown and most badass nickname ever: "The Axe Murderer". Fedor always looks like a straight on psychopath. He is almost always emotionless and when he smiles it even looks creepy!
No, he doesn't.
Long live The Last Emperor!

Bob Sapp used to be intimidating as hell, beating Ernesto Hoost twice and almost ended Minotauro's MMA career (both all-time greats). That was before he turned into a cartoon character and started throwing fights.
I love Mirko, one of the most bad ass dudes to ever grace combat sports.

The Russian prison tatts and the people he ran with that image for sure. A complete opposite of his brother but every bit as dangerous in a fight. But he's a family guy now and I think has found peace in life through his family.
I don’t know... he was intimidating sure, but not epically so. He was overshadowed by his brother, lacked the charisma of anybody on this list, and while he had a solid record, it was, again, overshadowed by Fedor. So scary dude? Sure. Freakishly scary? Not really.

@NoPain NoGain it was real when he got the nickname, back in Pride. He was the best on the planet, murdering everyone.
Mirko's case was even more special owing to the fact that pretty much whenever he elected to talk he would come off as a funny, kinda goofy guy, who is still pants-shittingly scary when he means to.
I love when he talked about hookers in his hotel room, he is a trip!
Silva in no way belongs on this list. More suitable on a “least intimidating” list
fight him then
Could have replaced him with Francis Ngannou honestly, that monster of a man is legitimately terrifying even if the commentary would basically be a similar repeat of Rumble Johnson. Ngannou would probably kill the average person with a single punch.
An alternative would be MMA legend Igor Vovchanchyn, he was called 'Ice Cold' for a reason. His size belied his devastating power, aggressiveness and fearlessness. Igor could easily kill a person with his bare hands (he was a bare-knuckle boxer). Quite simply the man was Fedor before Fedor and his legacy is both underrated and underappreciated by modern MMA fans.
Fedors creepy brother should be in there instead of silva.
@@TomtosterLP it's not about that, for normal people everyone in the ufc is intimidating , but putting Silva there instead of Alexander Emalianenko, Amanda Nunes or Francis Ngannou is just , does not fit in.

Anderson Silva is probably my pick for the greatest MMA fighter of all time, but intimidating is not the word to describe him. He was just a supreme artist with never-before-seen flair and a completely unorthodox style. There were lots of fighters who were eager to line up against him, but it's only when those opponents were actually fighting him that they realised they had no chance.
I'm not sure how you're gonna put this list together and not include Vitor Belfort. During the TRT days especially, he was a scary, scary fighter. Wanderlei does not deserve to be #1 - Ubereem was scarier than Wanderlei, as was Rampage
