It sounds easy but it’s really tough, and with the circular footwork and the grappling Sanda has, it’s a challenge.

Congratulations on a stellar performance Mr. Varga;!! Ive been following your career for a while now and ive watched most of your fights (amateur and pro) several times now; I have to say, I think this fight was oneof your most impressive performances.your hands looked phenomenal and YOUR BOXING WAS ON POINT!!! Not just in terms of punching power (although that was certainly impressive as well)..but what i thought really stood out in this fight was how smooth and fluid your combinations were... how you mixed in feints and fakes; and also how you were able alter the tempo on your punches (something that i my self need to work on)..i believed this (changing the tempo of your punches ) was something that made it extremely difficult for Bruno'to time you for counters....lastly , your conditional was very impressive...i feel that you actually got stronger as yhe fight went on while your opponent started to fatigue and slowed down in the latter portion of the fight...no. disrespect to Bruno; he is phenomenal fighter for sure which simply makes ur victory that much morec impressive!! Congrats again Champ;im really looking forward to your next fight !! ...(also I am predicting that you will be the champion of this organization within the next 12-18 months (so long as they give you an opportunity to fight for the title...and if you continue to put on performances like this one. I don't think they will have a choice!!!lol)...Congrats again brother; that was a stellar performance and a very entertaining fight!! Can't wait until the next one!

Having point karate background i was impressed how Bruno did.
I do find it strange that point fighters change the way they strike.
I’ve done a lot of hard sparring and decided that point techniques can hit hard enough if you just sit down on them a bit.
They also allow for much faster exit and angle change.
    Also minimal telegraph..
Maybe because i spent hours and hours working impact on my front front and reverse punches i never felt the need to change them.

1 thing about the rule set Gabe, 5 seconds don't count on the pit wall... Only on the matt (so if you fall & stay on the wall they can keep pounding since technically you're not down). Also, getting knocked down to the pit wall doesn't count as a knockdown since its not the matt you're not considered down. I think that's what I understood from the rules. Maybe they've changed them since I last checked though.

Looks like he threw you with a Tai Otoshi, or maybe a Harai Goshi, having a good wrester, Judoka or Sambo partner throw you can help for the next fights. Nice to see how well-rounded some of these Karate Combat guys are getting, incorporating throws, some ground and pound, and striking. I think if this continues it'll be like Kudo. It was a great fight, and I think the ruleset makes for exciting fights, I'm glad they at least allow calf kicks, would love it if they allowed at least some thigh kicks, but it's still a good ruleset. I'd love for this to get bigger, maybe for them to allow other MA who want to compete in on it (I'm not sure if they only allow Karate black belts, or if TKD, Kickboxers with no Karate backgrounds are allowed). Either way, great breakdown.

@@charalampos4016 have you tried eating sardines? seafood in general.
Also, there are very cheap animal protein sources like bone broth and milk (if it doesn't make you sick)

Gabriel thanks for these awesome videos, and congrats on your successful debut, but you’re forgetting one thing… “We don’t talk about Bruno” haha

Hey gabe this is a little unrelated but
During a fight or training havr u ever felt ur mind go blank
    U start seeing shots coming
U start just knowing where to move when to move and ur shots beccome so precise cause its easy to see where ur gonna land them
And it all happens so naturally
U start even knowing when to throw what shots or fakes and it all feels so instinctive
If u did do u have any advice to try voluntarily getting into that state of mind
I play sports alot myself and it would be helpful if i cud achieve that
