THANKS SIS!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE AN EXCELLENT TEACHER. YOU EXPLAINED "EVERYTHING" CLEARLY. YOU'RE DEMONSTRATIONS WERE ON POINT. IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN EXPLAINED ANY EASIER. I APPRECIATE YOUR TEACHINGS, AND I THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR GIFT, AND TALENT WITH EVERYONE ON YT. "EACH ONE, TEACH ONE" MAY THE GOOD LORD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU!!!!!!!! OH! AND YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL HEAD OF HAIR!!!!!@
If I do passion twists I think I will try the braid my hair first and then crochet the hair in and twist method. I wasn't feeling the rubberband method.
Vandy girl I love your work! You give such good details about the hair and how to twist. In all of the videos I've seen, no one has ever said bohemian hair twists to the right and water wave to the left. That is sooooooooo HELPFUL! You do a great job in providing the details. Very thorough work. Thank you!
You had the best tutorial on the passion twist.. enjoyed the tips different methods and soothing of your voice now I really feel confident of doing it myself...😘😘
Thank you thank you thank you so much for this video. I have been searching UA-cam for the past few days on how to install passion twists so I can do my daughter's hair. Your video was the only one that really taught and explained how to do it. Thank you so much for explaining it to where I can understand and follow!
I knew I could have did it that way with braiding my real hair first then crocheting the hair in instead of using rubber bands! Thanks for confirming that🤗❤️
I love this video it's the best one I've seen! Appreciate you zooming in on how you added the hair & showed more than once. Your hair and clients look beautiful😊I'll be getting crochet passion twists for the 1st time tomorrow so I'm not familiar with it but I'm super excited! In the front I'm gonna have her do individual twists so it looks natural. Thanks so much you have a new subscriber😁
I’ve watched all the passion twist tutorials on UA-cam, and this was by far the best! Detailed, straight to the point, and gave useful tips at the end. Thank you so much!
I’m here to learn!! I need to learn how to do these types of styles on my own hair. I’m not good at styling my hair AT ALL, it’s time to change that. #determined
I'm new to your channel. One of the best tutorials I've seen. And I watched a lot of them! I love the easiness of the hair you're using. Freetress is super difficult to work with, however I do like a more natural looking look. The hair you're using looks really nice. Not too "bouncy". And synthetic. Very pretty.
Thanks you for the demonstration. I thought to add an extra braid when I did my own hair, (beginner), and thought it would look bad. I thought I was the only one with this idea. I also don't know how to braid from the roots, so I'll be using the rubber band method. :s
My hair mimics your client's hair but my hair is MUCH thinner. It's almost impossible to find tips for type 3 hair for this style. I am SO THANKFUL that u showed it on hers as well as the volume fillin tips on your own. You said her edges were thinner I wish u would have shown them but I understand not wanting to show her face. Thank you for sharing ❤️ new subbie from this one 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
This was great!! I've been struggling with tight curls my whole life. I recently started doing passion twists and they have changed my life. No more spending 2-4 hours messing with my hair when I want to go out. I just wake up and go now or put my twists up into fun buns. The one problem I keep having is major slippage near the root with my twists and using little rubber bands can be so damaging. I have very tight curly hair on most of my head, but my crown is thin baby hair. You gave me all the tips I need. Thank you! Can't wait to put in my next set of twists (the right way).
I loved this and you come up with different ways to do it. I’m always trying to try new things and ppl be like what is it now Jessica. Love it I just started following you on TikTok ❤️😘
Absolutely the very best Video on Passion Twists I have seen to date. I loved everything about this video. You were so thorough, and offered various methods that could be used. I have subscribed to your channel. I will definitely be a loyal follower. Thank you for this tutorial!!!!
Thank you Sister. This was the best tutorial. Very detailed and highly informational. My cousin asked me to help her do these and to look for tutorials. I am glad that I watched a few videos before making a decision because I would have missed yours had I not.
Beautiful! Can the twists be reused? How do you keep them clean other than wearing the bonnet? Im just learning to help my step daughter. She has beautiful natural hair but it grows slowly and sometimes she wants long hair. And I've been told that keeping her hair in protective styles will help it grow. Thanks for the great tutorial.
Thx for the tips and tricks. I just did short passion twists but the top wasn't full enough. I just came across this video and it solved that problem. Thx again😁
Your hair looks great! I think I’ll use method 3 because my natural hair is frizzy. If I use the Bobbi Boss hair, do you think it’ll last if I go swimming on vacation with it? About how long did your passion twists last?
The Bobbi Boss hair ended up lasting long way longer than I expected. The style was so easy and natural to maintain I went 5 weeks. I was water several times with no problems.
You can but.... really I wouldn't suggest it if you want them to last a long time. I had these for vacation. They were installed in the crochet method. I swam everyday for 5 days straight. I lost 2 braids by day 3 and by the time I came home on day 7 they were just too loose to keep in. That being said I gently washed my hair everyday after swimming and they served their purpose during the trip (didn't have to do my hair) so I still loved the style. I just know I can only make it like 5 washes before they slip too much. The second time I had them (installed crochet) I was not on vacay and they lasted like 5 weeks. They were great for working out, super light weight and I really like them. Not sure I would have them put in for vacay again if I am swimming everyday but loved the look.
Thank you for showing this tutorial with tips and techniques. I just got finished putting in individual spring twist for the 1st time. And I installed them the 2nd way bc my hair is 3c and very fine. I will try passion twist next with your instructions.
Thanks So Much. You answered all the Curious Questions I had about that hairstyle. One more question though. Does the braiding have to face toward the back, when doing the Interlock method?
I'm looking at this and you made it so easy compared to many, but my question is is your hair is thicker as in mine, would you suggest Bohemian hair which may suit my texture better? Oh thanks can you crochet this in (like the back) than do individual in the front?. Thanks and love the simple video.
My hair has been natural for about three years. I love box braids but they do not love me. My sides back and front do well with them, but my hair stylist that does not do hair any more explained to me that the middle part of my hair is my week spot. My hair can be flat ironed and look like I have a perm. It is long enough that I can braid my own hair then crochet the hair in it to do the twist. Will that damage my hair in the middle or should I do just plain crochets in the middle and do singles around the front sides and back? By the way where in Austin, I live in Converse right outside of San Antonio. Since my stylist does great with relaxed and natural I’m looking for someone that is great with natural hair that cares about healthy hair and not just making money. I really believe you get what you pay for.
If you are dealing with weak spots, crocheting is typically the way the go.The only thing to consider is the braid pattern. For example when working the alopecia clients, the braid pattern should work around the weak area and not the directly over it. Some stylists will also use a net over the area to completely cover it. I'm located in Austin East of 35 close to Manor.
Very nice video! I appreciate the different techniques you shared. May I ask, what video editing software did you use? Thanks again for teaching us, Queen!
So for ladies with long thick hair, I’ve seen women braid/plait their natural hair only a few inches, then crochet the water wave hair to the base, then split their natural hair between the two sections and twist down....do you think that would work? My hair is too thick to braid my hair all the way down then twist the water wave i feel like my natural hair would be super apparent. What do y’all think?
Yes that works but I have found the natural hair doesn’t stay twisted very well. It’s starts to unravel on its own. It helps to twist it down with a small piece to keep the hair tamed down.
Vandy Vanity oooo ok! Thank u! Since I’ve posted this, i decided I’m gonna braid the base, then twist the rest of my natural hair (basically doing medium sized twists all over my head) and then install the crochet and twist my hair in. Thank u die responding ur video was helpful!
I love all of these different techniques you used. You look so pretty with the style. Is there a product you recommend for 3c curly hair so no flyaways show?

reg haircare includes the Detroit staple hot pink oil moisturizer...where are you cretins FROM???
What kind of hair is this?
For 4c girls, water wave wasn’t it for me, even after blow drying my hair. I would suggest using spring twist hair
SimplyYouma good looks 💯
Thank you, I'm going to try mine this weekend
That’s been my hesitancy. What spring twist hair do you recommend?
Thank you, somebody said it
I’m 4c and freetress water wave worked for me
If I do passion twists I think I will try the braid my hair first and then crochet the hair in and twist method. I wasn't feeling the rubberband method.
The rubber band method hurt so bad,,, especially when I was taking them out
4y
Chiiilllleeee.....I haven't heard "pink lotion" in decades!!!!

Thanks for the excellent tutorial and information about the different crochet textures, because my braids tend to severely tangle.

Loving this channel. Subscribed because of this video. This was very detailed and has inspired me to try this style on my hair again!

Thanks for making me understand how to make it
OMG! Love it!

This was a good video. Very informative
Great way to add fullness in the middle.
3rd one is my favorite cause it seems the easiest lol thank you
Thx for the tips and tricks. I just did short passion twists but the top wasn't full enough. I just came across this video and it solved that problem. Thx again😁
Yaaaayy 🙌🏽
The ruwa passion twist hair works really well for type 4 hair works really well
This style is cute. I'm about to put in my passion twists now
Also u look like u could be my sister lol
When she sneezed I said bless you and my family was like what who sneezed it's a habit lol
Hi vanity what's healthier and less tension on your scalp crochet braids or knotless braids
This was so helpful! Thank you so much!
Water wave-twist to the left, bohemian hair-twist to right, given the curl pattern of the hair. I like method #1 & #3
This was very helpful.
Love this! How many packs on average, plz?
Great video! Thank you for the tip on filling in the top of the crown area. :)
Beautiful! How many bags of hair did you use for the first style? Thanks 😍
Hi tx for the tutorial. Which method would you recommend for thin edges
Very beautiful thanks for sharing this video 👍🏾
I loved this
Very informative video! I really appreciate it!
Absolutely Beautiful 😍
Wondering can you get these wet? Love these and wanna use for vacay and working out.

How many pieces of the extension braid did you add per braid?
Thank you for showing this tutorial with tips and techniques. I just got finished putting in individual spring twist for the 1st time. And I installed them the 2nd way bc my hair is 3c and very fine. I will try passion twist next with your instructions.
On point and your makeup iso. Point
Thanks!
Thanks So Much. You answered all the Curious Questions I had about that hairstyle. One more question though. Does the braiding have to face toward the back, when doing the Interlock method?
i was wondering do you have to dip them so they won’t unravel?
Loving this style but I'm unsure if this look will last up to 6 weeks

Where did you get that bonnet?
Could this method be used for marley/cuban twists as well?
i actually have hair similar to yours. I just installed water wave and twisted to the right. lol How did i not find this before i started?! lol
Great tutorial! I plan on doing my own hair soon. What were the colors of the hair you used?
Very nice video! I appreciate the different techniques you shared. May I ask, what video editing software did you use? Thanks again for teaching us, Queen!

Shine N Jam usually does the trick but if you are braiding or twisting all the way down this should help with most of the flyaways.
@@VandyVanity thank you. I will try that.
