For me the best positive punk rock band on earth.
I can't stand to listen to some of the bands I used to listen to as a kid because I guess I grew up and some of the stuff that makes them angry I think is just silly kid shit. It makes it worse that lots of those bands are guys in their 40s or 50s now still angry about teenage shit or with a teenager's perspective on politics and the like. The Bouncing Souls aren't one of those bands. The Bouncing Souls are for everybody.

@@pjslon2218 this is super low on the bouncing souls song list. I could name fifty songs by them I'd prefer to this. I'll start. True Believers, 87, and the toilet off the roof song.
@@pjslon2218 I was using "Toilet" as an extreme example. My point really is, if the rest of this record is of similar quality to this song, I'll just go spin one of their better records.

Dude I like video but musically it's not that good.
I don’t understand how any long time ‘Souls fan could like this. This sounds completely uninspired.
I don’t expect them to have the youthful energy of Maniacal Laughter but this is so dang boring.
Did you listen to the rest of the record when it came out in March? "4th Avenue Sunrise" and "1989" has a amazing OG Souls vibe.
I think it's intended to have a positive reminiscence vibe. They're like every band though, hit and miss and some songs appeal more to different people. I think Maniacal Laughter is still my favorite album of theirs myself followed by the first but that may be my own nostalgia (listened to it a lot at a crucial point in my life). I generally like less polished sounding punk and the style of the songs were pretty varied and some were really catchy without crossing over to sounding like mainstream pop punk.
