"I can vouch that this is a true error on the A7 as I have an A7 on android 12 and also a M21 on android 12, both on one ui 4.1 both unrooted, on the M21 I can move apps successfully to external storage. On the A7 the same app fails with "insufficient storage" multiple SD's tried and formatted but it does not work. So Samsung properly broke this function on the A7." So yeah! Thanks Samung.
happened to my new motorola phone as well. no apps could be moved and this not enough storage space kept popping up. used to work on my old phone. just absolutely annoying
I am Android Developer and I tried doing the same in Android Emulator using API level 23 (Pixel 2 API 23), and it happened to me there too. So the problem is probably not in the SD card being faulty. UPD: after some time, the problem disappeared...
@@nadhirahhassanuddin4351 no idea. If I'd known, I'd've written the solution. I didn't do anything specific. The problem dissapeared within 5 minutes or so.
i have to do this developer option, force app to external thing after it kept saying "not enough storage" when i tried to move app. an extra step was that after it was formatted as internal storage, i reformatted the sd card to portable and then, formatting again internal storage. then, app started to get moved....although i ended up losing all my files that were stored in the sd card before reformatting...such a mess. but at least, the apps can now be in the sd card.
...samsung really do let me down sometimes, android on a whole just have some of the most stupid bugs or design ever for no reason
Thank you so much it's working 😇😍😍
Sadly it's a Samsung Android bug. Concerning A7 tablets. How can they fail this?
