Congratulations! It’s not easy taking a driving test there. Glad my videos were helpful & good to know they’re continuing to help learners out there. Well done! 👍🏽
That last clip coming from Crossgateson on the roundabout in direction of Airport is the scene of a few accidents each year. Vehicles are exiting as you were but some people coming off Crossgates Road like to collide with them as they are heading in the Crossgates direction.
I hate this road, I made two faults during a driving lesson, first one was that I panicked and accidentally took a u turn at that cross roads, second was at that airport exit, I was asked to merge into the right lane to avoid parked cars and again, I panicked, took it at face value and moved straight away and almost collided with a car. Can't even tell you how naff that made me feel.
Robby334 Thank you! I hope they help you & all others taking the driving test at these test centres. My aim has always been to make driving in these areas easier to understand for drivers of all abilities, learner or experienced. Happy to help :-)
You want to go down Crossgate Road, then at the bottom, be in the right hand lane, so you can go down towards Seacroft, up Oakwood Lane, past the Fearnvilles, ahead at the roundabout by McDonald’s. Could also follow the signs for the airport, it’s slightly longer, but you turn left down at the Wetherby Road roundabout, until you get to the McDonald’s roundabout in Easterly Road, where you’d turn right 😉👍🏼
Look at it this way, with the extra training you’ll get before passing, while being at the standard you are at now, you’ll be a much better driver in the long run. Tests shouldn’t define you, many fail and not just once, but it’s how you maintain the level you’re at, so eventually when you do pass, it’ll be with flying colours, you’ll feel much more confident on the road when you drive by yourself or with family - that confidence and that ability will last forever. This fail will be a long forgotten memory by then too. I didn’t pass first time but I’m glad I didn’t! Don’t give up, stay positive and you will do it soon 😉👍🏼
+Gurdev S Hi, yes. It's outside 7:30am-9:30am, so treat it as a normal driving lane, stay over to the left lane until it becomes a full time bus lane further down the road. But it's during those times when it's a bus lane, so you keep to the right lane.
Another quick tip about the best way to deal with roundabouts: If you live you live in an area that has them just move to an area that doesn't. They are the worst and you will thank yourself for avoiding them at all cost.
Sorry to hear that! It’s a notorious roundabout, many tests have been failed here, you sure won’t be the last. Think of the additional hours training you’ll now do as what will make you a better driver for life 😉👍🏼
Consistently one of the highest failed roundabouts in West Yorkshire & the UK, even before the advent of UA-cam. Harehills was over many years - and still is - one of the lowest pass-rate test centres anywhere. Having a video about it helps others understand the principles & layout, so there’s one less thing to worry about on (that stressful enough) test day, especially the Harehills Test Centre 👍🏼
After living here all my life, I think I have seen 2 crashes on it and can count on my fingers the amount of time I have seen people fail on it, but I see what you mean
Really love your videos! Help us a lot! Please record more Harehill driving test route, it’s really helpful!
Thank you so for your all videos . it's really help full. I passed my driving test in 1st time in Leeds 8 test canter. thanks.

The road on the end of the first clip that he said was a 30, is actually a 20, people need to remember this for their test
Well explained

Hi. Very useful video . Which exit should we say if we have to go to Arlington Road from Crossgate Road .Thanks
