Hi! Sorry to hear that it didn’t turn out as you’d like. The pickled mustard greens can vary in sourness from brand to brand, so you can give it a taste before you add it in and adjust to preference. Here are some other ways to lower the sour flavour: - Use less pickled mustard greens. - When rinsing the mustard greens, squeeze out as much liquid as you can. Repeat the rinsing if need be. - Add more water, then season to taste. - Add sugar to taste. I hope that helps!
Thanks for the reply @@WokandKin , we transformed the dish into curry to "save it". But if I ever try again, I'll certainly use your recommendations :) And you get bonus points for introducing me to taro, fried like that, they were better than potatoes haha.

Soup turned very sour from the pickled mustard. Can't say I'm a big fan
