@yellowsnowman9157 amp flex is a marketing gimmick for a design feature providing relief of medial compression in the upper facing. Bauer spends lots of time and money to develop, test, abuse, deconstuct, analyse, redesign, finalize, and manufacture design features to improve the performance of their products; accepting the fact that those performance advantages, which may be imperceptible to an individual, casual user, make a difference to the people that matter.
Graf splits the UltraG7 upper facing completely from the lower. It's a design feature that works for skaters who buy them, so Graf makes them.
