I went to buy some supreme skates but they didn't fit right. I felt pain in certain spots. I was about to leave because I tought both supreme and vapor are for the same foot shape and the difference is only the forward pitch, stifftness and design. Some guy from the back of the shop told me to try vapor, because there are some differences in the foot shape they fit. Bang! The vapora x2.9s were perect fit, like socks.... So it's not only up to your skating preferences. The suoreme mach came out with a wider toe section, so I went to try .... Still no good. Hyperlite, perfect fit. So ther's still differce between them. I still have my x2.9 vapors and I love them.
Im a 6'8'' 250lbs former basketball player started ice skating one year ago and now I am about to start playing hockey... I am rocking Bauer M5 Supreme... it fits almost perfectly but my little toe on the left foot hurts a bit but nothing too serious :)
So all I ever see is the reviews and personal feelings on the Pro Level skates. What about some m info on the one step down like the Bapor 3x Pros etc. even the guys at Hockey Tutorials always say the Pro NHL boot would be too much for the normal beer leaguers, yet that only talk about the Pro NHL level skates.
How is the ankle protection of the Vapor? Is it more comfortable than the Supreme? Unfortunately we don’t have shops over here and I cannot try them on
From the sides of the skates, the protection is comparable to any other skate on the market. The tongue however, is soft so taking a shot full on may not be as protective as the Supremes. With that said, I am playing at a semi-pro level and haven’t had any protective problems, and I eat shots like it’s my job.
hi coach! do you think my leg can fit vapor skates since my legs are like medium size. My country doesn't have hockey skates stores so I can't try them out
I wish I could tell you, but I have no idea. I would measure my foot and compare those measurements against US foot charts to get a good idea. Things I'd measure are Foot length, width across the balls of your feet, ankle width, and instep.
I have super flat feet also. Im heading to Pure Hockey this Friday and hopefully they have that Bauer 3D scan there. That takes a lot of the guessing work out! I dont want to spend 300 to 400 dollars on skates for them to fucking murder my feet on the ice
Suggested a 9 but I went down to an 8.5. And these are Bauer Skate Sizes, so its independent of US, AUS, UK etc foot shoe sizes. Hope that makes sense.
Санер полная херня, Vapor колодка для низкой ноги как у гуся, Supreme для высокой ноги, если взять неправильно колодку то придется менять коньки. Вся система Fit так же полный обман, покупайте коньки по удобству а не рекомендациям маркетологов
I just switched to a Vapor and now I know why they feel different on the ice. Very informative and a good presentation.
I got the vapors. When they baked them they told me I could sit, stand, walk around, whatever. Wish I would’ve known to stay sitting!

Are you a narrow or wide foot?

Exactly! Hope the fitting goes well and you get a pair of skates that your feet love.
I feel your pain! Almost impossible to find skates that you don’t have to untie between shifts 🤦♂️😤
So did the Bauer scan suggest a box size 9? And are the box sizes US?
Regards
Mark

As an old hockey player, i want to change my Bauer 4000 suprême to get the same style.
Which one do you recommend ? Thanks
Go get fitted at a local store. Really helps instead of going off recommendations

Nice wheels! I’m a Vapor guy too. Coach have you ever done a custom profile on your blades?
Yes I have in the past and have enjoyed it. Nowadays I keep them with the factory setting to keep as much glide as I can
You know I am not prepared to show any brand names on my Iceskate if they don't sponsor me, am I wrong.
Feet are too wide for Vapors. Supreme it is, I tried.
Интересно, спасибо за обзор )
English?!

Lol guilty as charged!
I did vapors once. Never again. Hatem
What didn't you like about them?
