The hair washing debate is not about hair washing the way I see it. It's about giving space to someone to be themselves even if that is a little bit 'disgusting' in our society. It is about power dynamics between a relationship and how you can co-exist with someone while still feeling that you can be your self authentically. And yes it can get down to something as silly as hair washing once a year. I am so happy that Cammie was able to let this go truly! This is huge and in Taryn's place I'd feel seen. Truly sorry if I made anyone feel upset not my intention but because I see a lot of people just choosing between the two, by listening to you two speaking about this I felt that was not the real debate. Coming from a curly haired person it’s totally normal not to wash your hair for like a week makes those curls luscious 😊Now if at the beach the salt is super drying so that is probably what Cammie is feeling when the crunch happens. Personally I would wash it after every day but that’s me. I was more curious about the pooping situation. You all don’t do that?? lol my partner and I have hangs in the bathroom lol 😅

I personally just would not want my partner to feel grossed out by me ever and would do anything in my power to avoid it I totally get Taryn's side tho about just wanting to be free and do whatever the hell you want, or just this little thing. But, the feeling of that freedom would be tainted for me, knowing that my partner doesn't like some part of me in that moment, and I could've prevented it. But I also think that it's healthier that Taryn is comfortable with the whole thing, shows her that she's confident in herself and in the relationship. So she's really better than me in this one.

Thats how they teach kids, to do higiene and fluids all private and regular, so hopefully when they're adults they'll finally get it right lolll. To be respectful and also free from dead cells.
