As a gay person who probably wants kids, I really love whenever you guys mention your plans for becoming parents in the future! I think some people (especially religious conservatives…) assume gay couples aren’t interested in having kids, and while that obviously isn’t always true, it means a lot to me to see a married gay couple break that stereotype. Thank you for being such great role models and for the really entertaining content ❤
I remember when I came out to certain people they would go "do you still want kids?" I am so unsure what my sexuality has to do with the desire to be a parent. im glad that we are no longer assuming people want kids but I dont see my straight counter parts asked this as often as I am. we will continue to share our process along the journey and hopefully help change this very silly stereotype! -c 🤍
one of my favorite things about this podcast is that when you have little moments of tension where you disagree, you dont cut it out. it really helps to see another queer couple have a healthy conversation and work through small points of disagreement/tension. :)
thanks for this. obviously worth noting we do fight other non-pod days and don't always handle them so well but we always trying to get better at loving each other every day.
I think you guys makes it cozy and cute wherever you film, but my favorite is definitely when you are outside on the balcony, cause the view is gorgeous
Every week my girlfriend and I listen to the podcast on Saturday morning. We have our coffee, make brunch, & watch the pod on our tv outside with the dogs, and it’s my favorite part of the week! This week was such a fun episode because we felt like we should switch it up with the theme of the pod so we made a charcoochie board & got wine drunk watching the pod at night and had a date night with one another. Loved this episode and loved the experience of watching it!
Another great episode you make staying up with you a pleasure. I find myself laughing out loud, learning, listening, loving the show (apparently I’ve wondered into an LWord episode). Till next time…
I tend to find the people that are worried about being good parents are the ones that actually put the effort and consistency in to be good parents. It's often the parents that don't even consider if they are fit to raise kids/the people that think they'll be the best parents ever that actually do a bad job. You care and are thinking about how to be the best parents possible, which is exactly what your future kids need!💜
Literally created a youtube account just to subscribe to the pod. I love soaking in the advice to use in my own relationship. Just want to thank you both for having such an influence on me (and probably many others) without even knowing it ❤
@@stayinguppod First off I think I just died because you replied to my comment! Your comment makes me love you guy even more! I think you two are doing a great job with the podcast and you really do give excellent advice.
Thanks so much for another great episode! Hehe, you're too honest for this kind of game - but it was fun to hear you talk through it all :D And what a lovely visit by Frank. He looks so calm, but also too bulky to actually get comfy while sitting up
You guys are so inspiring and listening to your videos help me in so many ways within my relationship 🫶🏻 ps I’d love a hat from your wedding to represent 🥳
11:35 maybe you are suppose to be the "teacher" of the person, even if you might evidently hurt them. If you had good intentions so the rest is out of your control and maybe the person you hurt or interacted with needed that hurt/interaction to learn and understand things about themselves or about the world. 12:31 I think the sulotion to this endless fears and thoughts about this subject ("how do I know what's better and what's less") is to just trust youself and to know that you know and will know how to act the best you know in the moment where you will need to.
im never sure how to answer this tbh. I feel like I loved taryn throughout our entire friendship and knew our friendship was deeper and different but I felt so lucky to just have that type of friendship I never really let myself feel more until I finally did. I knew we were meant to be in each others lives but I didnt think we would end up together.
frank's energy is everything to me
he is perfection
