This is probably one of my favorite videos you've done yet. I love to seeing how you organize your music I'm always trying to think of the better way to do it and I end up with stacks on this table and that. I also like to seeing how you plan your practice session, Wow!! you cover a lot. I am pretty much addicted to the Reichert seven daily exercises. I love playing them such. I to think I need to go back to playing three octave scales too. This is something that I didn't in college. You accomplished so much in that day. You should feel very proud of yourself! :-)
Your music room makes me happy. It's just cute. I dont have as much music as you do but the whole top shelf of my bookcase is just sheet music lol. Im team paper music. I also have my books from my private clarinet teacher with all the markings. Memory lane when i open those.
I totally have like a winter depression from January through the beginning of February but I just got out of the rut and I’m feeling so refreshed plus I got a new flute today soo I’m very excited
Katie a question, how do I thrill high F# do I just pick up my f# finger?I'm playing marche diabolique for an uil piece and I'm having trouble finding that thrill note please help(I also use it for joy revisited)
That book of the 24 concert pieces you held up, with Hungarian Serenade, was edited by my college flute teacher, Mr. Robert Cavally. He also edited all of the “melodious and progressive studies for flute” etude books.
funny. almost all the people i follow on IG are personal friends and there are mostly no comments on their posts. but with public figures, i don't see anything mean either.
I'm not a musician and I don't read music but I love watching your videos as I love learning all about the life of a musician. Thank you Katie.
It would be so great if you could make a video with Tatiana from @theflutepractice . Especially on practice and frustration management.
That would be awesome!!

I was obsessed with the January vlogmas episodes, go flutes 2024! 🎉
Gurl from our point of view you spent the whole month of January editing videos. I hope it pays off with views ad revenue.

I love clicky keyboard sounds. If you like the apple keyboard, you'll love a mechanical keyboard!
On the walls of my music studio I keep posters from old concerts that I played at! It’s fun to look back at them
That’s a great idea!!

Hi! What do you recommend for a beginners flute and music? Any apps that can help? Thanks!
She has a video in her channel with 3 different beginner flutes. You may have to search for it but it's definitely informative 💛
