    Props to Devon Larratt, honestly what a man. The difference in height and weight alone is enough to scare almost any man from taking this fight even if it's just an exhibition, not to mention the age difference. To step foot in that ring, to defend yourself at all times, and to stand your ground against Thor, is a feat in itself. He may not have won, but Devon certainly is an inspiration regardless. Great job to both of these athletes.

    • @acemaster916

      For their weight. The size didn't matter that much, mostly the age. After 40 is way past prime. Also the experience in the sport..

    • @ShiningTrailblazerTV
      @ShiningTrailblazerTV 11 місяців тому +25

      To be fair to Devon, he’s a much bigger guy than an average, he’s 6’6 124kg, so he’s only 3 inches shorter and 20kg lighter, the only real disparity is the age difference, and the fact that Thor has had so much more training. The fact that these 2 have been matched up is almost satirical

    • @user-xr3ul2xc1l
      @user-xr3ul2xc1l 10 місяців тому +7

      Well no, there isn't much of a difference in size EXCEPT for that 20 KGs of fucking weight difference. Larrat is like 6ft 4.5 and halfthor is 6ft 7.5
      So in terms of height and weight it isn't far enough to be unfair, but they're both heavyweights and 20kg is a LOT. He's also much older, both at their primes would've been tough but I'll say Devon.

    Great effort for surviving that long. The match was over at 4:07 after that body shot from Thor, Devon kept going but rattled. All of his strategy was out the window at that stage, but it was awesome that his flight or fight response to death, is to go out in once last hoorah.

    • @kosutokiriguya3205
      @kosutokiriguya3205 5 місяців тому

      Response to death? No, Fight, Flight or Freeze isn't the only thing causes adrenaline rushes. If Devon and Thor fought like they were trying to end one another then Devon would win because the boxing rules go out the window and would probably end with Devon choking Thor out. But in boxing Thor has advantages in boxing technique, mobility of arms, and power so its obvious who would win, but surprising Devon was able to hang in there while boxing someone of Thors size.
