This was a great interview! It's always interesting to hear the origin story of a business, and also how people price their products. I think the main thing that surprised me about my XCarve is how quick it is. I usually spend much longer finishing the piece then I do cutting it. Which is kind of the opposite of my experience with 3D printing.
@@zachkaplan4011 I make stands for desktop synthesizers. Most of them are 3D printed but I've been using the X-Carve more to help out with production since it's faster. I use furniture grade plywood so it takes a bit of sanding afterwards to get the piece ready for finishing.
