    How do you get it so clean?? When I pull mine out the crumbs go on the flan and on top of the flan, you can see swirls of the purple

    I’ve made this twice and each time, was a huge hit! I usually make it and serve the same day but would I be able to make this a day before? Would it be ok in the fridge overnight?

    Looks so good! I used your recipe exactly & followed the instructions by the book, and my cake came out jiggly in the middle, and the flan wasn’t cooked. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong.

      Thank you for dropping by. Based on your comment, the cake seemed needed some more time in the oven. There are a lot of factors to consider when baking a cake.(e.g. it could be your oven heat has lower heat than the actual temp. Ingredients were not on room temperature, etc.) So for example, if your ingredients are too cold or your oven is not on the right temp, the cake could be undercooked even you followed the cooking time. With that said, one way to check if your cake is done cooking is do the toothpick test before pulling out from the oven. Happy baking and hope you get the perfect cake next time! 😊

      I haven't tried using the 8x4. You might want to check first if the amount of the ingredients will fit into the 8x4 loaf.

    Hi! After covering it with foil and letting it bake for the rest of the time, do you leave it in the pan of water or take it out? Also, do you cover the whole pan with the water or just the pan with the cake? Thanks!

    Good morning po, sinubukan ko pa recipe nyo masarap po yung ginawa ko leche flan may spotpo sya na para puti sa gitna paano ko po kaya i Cover yun yung sai yo po wala pong spot na malaki sa gitna

      Thank you for your comment. Not really sure but I could think of few reasons such as over beaten the cake mixture or the egg white was not on room temperature, if you are also opening the oven too early, too often, that is one possibility too. Keep practicing and you will get better result next time. 😊
