My first time to this awesome car show and cruise. I watched both your vids anyway because your coverages of all these car shows are always great to watch. My favorite car was the red ‘69 Dodge Dart with the 340 and the black stripe at the rear end. Looking forward to seeing your ‘67 Satellite in a show soon.
I watched them both Mike, as usual, your fan in Boca Raton, Florida. Thanks for letting us east coast guys, see the motherland of hot rodding. Please consider coming to our grand dad of car meets, Daytona Beach Turkey Rod Run.. They get over Ten Thousand cars, you have never seen.
I'm pretty sure the OC Fairgrounds was the old Santa Ana Army Air Corps base during WW2. I know OCC across the street was part of it. My dad was sent there after the war while awaiting discharge as were thousands of other GIs. My brother and I both attended OCC. It was the Santa Ana AAC Base because Costa Mesa was not incorporated until 1953.
