Wow, you could get a whole 4x8 piece of plywood for that. But seriously, find a local saw mill for the best prices, or at least a lumber yard. Lowes and Homedepot's wood is horrible and overpriced.
If you go to an actual lumber store, their prices go up and down with what they get it for plus most of it is kiln dried.Unlike the big box stores, they just make more money off of #2 grade wet lumber.
Before 2020 gas prices were 3 dollars plus in the summer in most of america and about 1.80 plus in the winter. It was only cheap during covid because there was an abundance becuase no one was driving. Gas is back up to where it was. Wood was much cheaper before 2020.
THAT'S cheep. From a real lumber yard you would be over $60. AND no it's not greed. As a home builder for over 30yrs lumber prices go as nature does. Large hurricane and the price goes up. Large natural fire price goes up. Now as of 2018 you also have to factor in that tariff that was slapped on imported lumber. ANY lumber (and I mean ANY) you get at those big box stores comes for overseas. So as someone who has been building things since 1988 you got a fair price.
It’s total control. Just think about it. We have an absolute abundance of wood given to us for free yet man puts a price on it. We have food in absolute abundance and man puts a price on it. We have water in absolute abundance and man puts a price on it. We have land in absolute abundance and man puts a price on it. The only way man can treat man this way is when man allows man to treat him this way. God blessed us all of this and man took it and put a dollar sign on it.
Part of a free market is the ability of the people to complain with their speech and help steer the direction of the market. The issue is that we don’t actually have capitalism we have cronyism, which is where capitalist companies actually steer the market by leveraging power in the government. We actually would be much better off with true capitalism with an actual free market, but our gov. has colluded with rich, selfish companies to minimize the peoples’ ability to control it. Don’t be misinformed. And EndtheFed
O Lord. Free market? Lol. Go ahead and complain and try to steer the market. And companies are not the issue people are the issue. Don't be misinformed he/she.
It would be worth doing that if a plot of land with no road access that hasnt already been logged thats only 20 acres didnt cost 200000. The only reason land like that costs that much is greed.
Those are too straight to have came from Lowe's
😂😅😊
I thought same, this dude's lying, thats too nice looking lumber, can't be from Lowes.
If it cost too much, don't buy it. Gas is the same game.

I have noticed one thing about higher gas prices. Less traffic when I ride my Ebike. But I can't haul lumber on it.
It’s not greed.
It’s by design.
Keep voting the person and not the policies that what you get
That's not that expensive, I live in Europe and the same amount of wood costs €84 here
Insane
You should send your link of your veterans discount to Lowes Corp its the only way they will think about doing something
The government is supposed to protect its citizens from predatory price gouging...
Fkjoebiden
A 10’ 6x6 at Lowe’s in my area is $85.00
Get green wood from a sawmill and bolt it all together it will hold.
Will Ai be used the same way youe describing? Maybe if people keep not paying attention
What’s a forbavore and a tubavore?
Two words, Joe Biden. Only way to change it is vote for Trump.
In 2020 gas prices were $1.08, guess what it takes four times to deliver them pieces of wood then it did back then

Considered getting a used sawmill and just pull tree cutting permits? You could dry it fairly well with summer incoming
I've seen homodepot do the same thing $9 for painters tape that wss $3 just two years ago....greed and madness !
That's voting Democrat.

You must sell wood 😂
Thanks , O Biden

Its not all that bad here in indiana that would be 60 min
Thats pretty cheap for what it is there
Why are people complaining! This is America. Wake up. Capitalism.

Time to raise your prices i guess
Lets go Brandon
You are deluded... This started under tRump.
My son is building his house and it’s a race to put supplies on the job site before the next price increase.
I wish you luck, Sir.
You could cut your own tree, dry it out, mill it on all sides, then you can pressure treat it

@@danielkarcis1174 perhaps investigate West Virginia or Kentucky
What’s a tuba for?
