The little "bowls" are worry stones. The groove is supposed to be rubbed with your thumb for soothing anxiety or whatnot... and you can choose which material you need for its properties. 🙂
Ok, so halfway through you asked if it made us want to buy scoops. So you are on pause while I answer. I am soooo envious! My father was into rocks when we were kids, and we spent hours as a family looking for really good ones to take home. He would put many of them in a “tumbler” which is how you polish them, and there was always a big bowl full in the house that you could just sit with. Sort them by colour, run your hands through them, really take a good look at them, whatever. He also cut and shaped some for jewelry. Recently, I have been wishing for a bowl of my own and you have put me dangerously close to getting there. The shapes and money trees are lovely, but I personally like them just irregular shapes. But I agree with you, it’s easy to love them, and even the dullest ones are beautiful and not boring! So now you’re trying to set them on fire! They are real, I can tell just looking at them. Also the sound they make on the table and against each other. I am pretty sure they are not turning black because you are using a lighter with clean fuel, and not a match. The black would just be soot from incomplete burning of the wood in the match. Just enjoy them, run your hands through them, etc. They are not all crystal, as others have pointed out. The agate, and moss agates and jaspers are the ones with the deep rich colours. I would keep most of them, and I think you got your money’s worth because when these are sold individually the price goes way up. The money trees and skulls are something you could sell at the flea market for $5 or so, and get back like 20% of your investment. I hope you put links in your video on the sites you used as I am sure to cave in soon (I am expecting payment of an inheritance)! 💕🇨🇦
Melissa, I have been collecting rock's, gem's and crystal's for most of my life, and went through a couple of years where I was spending hundreds and sometimes a thousand or more on my collection. I can honestly say you have some nice polished stone's. The little money tree is adorable, I can probably tell you what a lot of the stone's are. Don't beat yourself up, I personally think you got a great deal.
No. I can’t speak for this specific seller but it’s been proven that these “crystal scoopers” sell a lot of fakes (printed glass/resin) and they don’t actually give you all that they scooped out. Then if you try to get a refund you get screwed over. Then intentionally leave out half of your order and either bank on the consumers chalking it up as a loss or if you have the recording or pictures proving that they scooped more than you got, they have weird return policies that allow them to pocket the a a chunk of cash while you lose out. DON’T SUPPORT SCAMMERS
Don’t let anyone make you feel bad or did a bad investment! I think they crystals and rocks are absolutely beautiful ! So not a waste of money. I collect rocks 😊 so as a collector I love them!
I have also collected rocks of all kinds for years! I seriously want one of the flame stones from the scoops but can't afford a scoop right now🙁 if you have any flames you want to sell on the cheap plz reach out. Not asking for any freebies.
I don't think you should worry one bit about this little splurge. You love them, you had a blast opening them and it allowed you to create a fun, unique video. You can always keep your favorites and get creative with the rest. I enjoyed the video. 👍
I’ve been collecting for years and have a very extensive collection. You have literally hit a crystal jackpot. I easily would have spent 800 at the least for all of that. Most of those crystals usually go for around $30.00 the bigger ones at least $70-80 a piece. I’ve paid a LOT for my own collection and if I were starting out and saw this, I’d be hook line and sinker. Seriously an epic haul. You have some REALLY nice polychrome jaspers and they can be pricey for an even smaller size than yours. Also great peach moonstone and a Tree agate sphere. I paid $90 for a medium sized tower. AND that rhodonite tower would at least be 25-35 dollars for that big of a tower! GREAT haul
Those little mushrooms would be perfect for the little fairy houses/trees people do. Looks so fun!!! Those little "bowls", I think are worry stones. The rose egg was my fave :)
My 16 year old daughter loves crystals and they aren't cheap. This is the happiest I've seen you in any video I've watched lol. Doesn't hurt to go "wild" every now and then, good for you.
Hey Melissa, it looks like you have a whole bunch of semi-precious gem stone pieces some are agate and crystal quarts. Others are moss agate and Jasper, rose quarts and lots more types of gem stones. They are all beautiful. Your bracelet is amethyst! I love your collection!
Love love them sweetheart try to sell them look on line on people that sell maybe you can find out more or less what the are selling for but all and all i think you did good i think.GOD BLESS.
This comment is exactly what I came here to tell Melissa. I've noticed alot of people call these crystals but they really are semi-precious gem stones. Nothing wrong with that. Still very pretty. Nice collection.
Came to tell her same. My youngest son used to collect rocks when younger. And all gems are just shiny rocks. You shape them and polish them to get that cool glossy finish. People say different stones have different properties. I love your enthusiasm.
The little bowls are palm/worry stones, you hold them in your palm and rub them. You get heart shaped as well. The dent in the middle is for your thumb. Your carnelian flame is beautiful x
Well they are really called thumb stones and you hold them between your first finger and thumb and rub your thumb in the dent, they are for soothing anxiety. Palm stones are flat round and smooth with no dent.
Yes, they are called worry stones or thumb stones, the smooth oval shaped stones are palm stones, and are used to relieve stress and anxiety. The different stone's help with different things as well.
Very pretty! The cloud, green skull, & carnelian flame are my favorites! The druzy hearts & the coral-looking ones too are so stunning! The moon shape, eggs, spheres, hearts, and mushrooms are so cool too! Really theyre all beautiful! We all have those little things that make us weirdly really happy! Its awesome getting to know more about geology & stones Through this kind of thing!
I’ve had many scoops from TikTok. Loved them! Then I went on to buying specific towers and spheres. My living room is covered in crystals 😍 pink calcite and flourite are my favourites. Great haul!! X
I am OBSESSED with crystals, properties, meanings etc. I put mine out on the full moon to charge them and manifest positivity! They make my soul happy. They start cold, but if you hold them they get real hot! Perfect for your esthetician room! Keep selenite to cleanse them. I love this. I wish I could post pictures of my collection.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I was worried people would think I was crazy. Lol. I had so much fun doing it. Hopefully have some crystal mystery boxes on poshmark later next month.
I have some selenite wands but did not know they cleansed crystals. I left my favorite crystal out to be charged by the moon and something stole it, probably a rat or crow

Beautiful crystals! Call them your "Cocktail Crystals" lol. Could put a bunch in a covered jar or vase so you don't have them all spread-out (or have to dust separately). ☺💜
Mellisa sometimes it’s not about the money, it’s about how happy it makes you. They are beautiful but it’s your money and you can do what you like with it x
Wooooo! As someone who collects and sells crystals, this was so much fun. I saw a video yesterday of someone else reviewing their order and I think you got way better items. Money comes and goes, you had fun and that's what matters ☺️ that flame is so nice and the mini mushies are so cute 🥺
My favorite piece (and I don't even know why) is the white and green sphere! I just love it! I got caught up in the pearl/oyster openings a few years ago and spent way too much money. I regretted the necklaces, because they never showed off the pearls as well as they should have... But my little bag of pearls in rainbow colors is a source of joy! I don't know why, and I had to stop watching the videos, because I couldn't just watch, I wanted to be the reason they were opening the oyster! It's easy to get caught up, but at least you got a table full of really nice pieces! And, you got a great video out of it, too!
I go to a lot of rock and gem shows and you see a lot of those things there but i definitely think you got your moneys worth. I like to pick out my own stones personally.
I have bought them too and never had fakes, my nieces and I love crystals. The bracelet is Amethyst which is the birth stone for February. The crystals in the middle of some of the items is called Druzy and it is beautiful.
Highly polished stones like those are less likely to turn black , if they were raw they would blacken( due to the minerals reacting I’m guessing). Being able to touch them after having the flame on them is more telling, real crystals/ semi precious stones should remain cold enough to touch. You got some lovely stones, I’d have been happy with what you got. I maybe would have stooped at one order to see what I got first though but I also get the attraction of them 💜
Your crystals r millions of years old... and they will be around for another million years... it's amazing to think they can be mined out of our earth and carved and polished so we can enjoy them!!! Is there anything else is your house that is millions of years old??? That you can pass down for generations and it will last for another million years??? U can tell i also enjoy crystals and rocks and enjoyed seeing you smile at your new collection!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
I love your crystals. If it makes you happy then enjoy them. Don't worry about how everyone feels. Your face when you took them out showed your happiness. Keep being you.😘
I keep being drawn in to these live gem scooping sites also! So far, I've been able to maintain self control, but it's only a matter of time before I send them money for my "chunky towa", "giant s'phere", "mushroom party" and the "money tree". I love crystals, but keep trying to make myself order a box/bag without all the theatrics of the vibrating bowl, the large trays of crystals being added every few minutes and the "tank you, honey!" or "lucky, lucky money tree and free bracelet and throw in another tower". Now I HAVE to go watch! Uuuu!!! 😅😊😉
Melissa I'm drooling absolutely beautiful. You know it's not about the money it's about the joy it brings you and the beauty. I'm going to save up and give me two scoops.. they are real. !!!!. Please don't hold a fire to them you're going to crack them..
So glad I came across your video! I have been addicted to Highland Crystal for a few weeks and ended up doing 3 orders (oops, also conversion rate from US$ to AUS$ makes it seems so much worse!) but I don't have many regrets, was good fun to watch the scoops and the hosts have great energy! Love your collection
Lol you’re too funny! I’ve seen those tiktok scoops quite often and have resisted 😅 I saw some people claim they got smaller items than what was shown in the videos so it’s nice to see you received everything you saw in your scopes! Very cool Crystal haul and I’m sure they’ll sell well at your flea market 🤗❣️
@@hollypierce3076 yessss! The skulls are my favorite! I don’t collect crystals but those 💀 are cool🤗 . I wonder how much they’d be just to buy them online instead of as scoops but I know that takes the fun of the surprise away lol
I have also been sucked into this. At this point in time I have purchased about 15 scoops. I have recieved a few resin pieces with crystals inside but all the crystals seem to be real to me, some scoops are better than others but overall I love it, it def makes me happy too and I have no clue what im gonna do when im over this obsession with all these crystals, I have 4 giant shelfs now just covered and several bowls full. I just love em.
Those are semi precious stone carvings. The geode ish inclusions are druzy quartz. Ok, so you went a tiny bit nuts, but you took one for the team. You're on UA-cam to show us what's out there and are doing it well I say. Enjoy the stones!
The uncut or unpolished stones are amazing too, look up spirit quartz, one of my favorites, any kind of quartz or druzzy, but I tend to go overboard too. I have so many little animals, absolutely adorable.
Oh Melissa.💟 I love semiprecious stones and rocks, but can't afford to buy them. Not even like this. I used to sit in the garage and take any old stone from my yard and break it to see if it had markings inside and some of them did. I was hooked. My parents both me one of those collections for birthday or Christmas but even though they were named, they were tiny chips😕. For a long time I picked up pretty pink stones, once I found a piece of lava, beside a creek in Missouri. They also had big stores along side the roads selling marble statues for the garden or cemetery. I have a few small pieces picked up over the years. And cherish them...so yes excited and happy to see this video. Thanks so much for sharing. You got some really beautiful pieces.😆💜💟💜💟💜💟
I already know which ones I'd buy if I can afford them. The ones with the dent are also called Prayer Stones or Worry stones. The can be rubbed for release of stress. Great buy! 🙂👍🌹☮
Hi Melissa, I’m definitely going to have to check that out on TikTok, which could be dangerous, lol. Watching you show all of these crystals, definitely sparks my interest. I love the Christmas trees.
I've been wanting to order these every time I see them. The only thing that stopped me was the $40 price then added shipping It was just too much, but believe me I've been looking for lower prices.
I'm sure someone had mentioned already but the items you are calling "towers" are actually crystal wands. They are used in healing. The colors align to whichever Chakra you are working. The ones that are flat with a little thumbprint indent are worry stones (the original fidget/meditation stones). The other carved pieces are great talismans. They cost a bit because you are carvings the gemstone/ crystal down. Colors usually match to Chakras for healing.
I was at a gun show this weekend and bought some of these rocks.....I paid $16.00 for the heart shaped one and $5.00 for the mushroom. Ouch! They were very nice quality I will add and my daughter is a collector of beautiful gems. She was so thrilled with her gifts. Please consider this when you resale your pretties. Now I know where she purchased them from. She had a huge table to choose from also. Thanks for your videos!
The tress, hearts and mushrooms are very cute. Someone can make necklaces out of the mushrooms and possibly even the moons. It may have been a higher price then you would want to spend, but I’m sure you will be able to resell or gift as many as you can. Plus you are enjoying them and entertaining all of us in the process. Thank you as always 💜
I make jewelry and I had ides of some necklaces and bracelets that would be cool with some of the mini-mushrooms and the moons too. What fun Cheap Chic's videos are! I never miss one!
The bit where you said you love them should tell you that you didn’t make a mistake. People work so hard and we all deserve something in our lives that makes us genuinely happy or what’s the point? You have some beautiful crystals there..let yourself enjoy them..you deserve it x
I buy crystals from TikTok too but always remember to take a screenshot of your scoops because sometimes you get less than you see when they do the scoop. Love your your crystals 🥰🥰
Those are some really cool crystals. I like the pointy ones you got and some of the heart ones you got. Paco in the background was so cute. He heard what you were doing and when he found out it wasn't treats, he's like I'm going back to bed lol.
Awesome video! I’m not on tic tok but love this idea. I’ve gotten a few crystals hear and there but after my SO inherited a bunch I’m in love! I’ll have to add to it and this seems the way ☺️ Thanks for another great video!!
You always look so nice but the purple eyeshadow was so surprising & beautiful on you! It compliments your skin tone! Also I get sucked into just watching those ladies LOL something about their voices & the rice 🥲😂😂😂
The “bowls” as you call them are worry stones. You carry in your pocket, and if you get worried, you rub your thumb in the “bowl”. Love the haul and your videos. 👍
oh man ngl i looked up crystal scoop unboxing videos lowkey hoping it would show me they weren’t worth it because i’m trying to save money, but DANG that haul is NICE and i don’t think the prices are that bad for what they show in the lives! i’m one or two glasses of wine away from ordering a few scoops for myself lol. i don’t know what different crystals are supposed to do spiritually, but i love pretty rocks and those crystals would look so nice with the potted plants on my desk at work!
I wish I would have gotten five scoops and 14U scoop after that because they were throwing in a bunch of freebie stuff that went alone was worth fifty bucks
Melissa you made great purchases!!!!! I’ve paid $40 for one of those!!! So you spent a little too much but you could get every penny back if you sold them In small bags on posh mark. Or stick to a good price not cheap but a good decent price and sell some to get your money back! I didn’t even know I liked crystals until I saw this and realized how many I had bought just because I saw them in nice boutiques and fell in love with them!! Don’t you dare feel bad!! I loved every one of them!!
Wow beautiful carnelian flame and I love the gray and white howlite towers. The little agate mushrooms are excellent for gridding. You got alot of nice pieces 🖤✌️
Just wanna start by saying, I really enjoy your channel! You make me laugh and you don't take yourself too seriously! Just a suggestion for your baby 🍄s. Gift them to your house plants. Crystals have great energy and plants love them too!
I can see the lure and excitement of it! It was the same thing a few yrs ago when people were having oyster parties! You pay for a piece of jewelry and then the seller would call your name and let you pick which oyster you wanted them to shuck. Then you wait to see what color and size pearl you are going to get! Some lucky oysters had 2 pearls in one! Then they would measure the pearl for you, tell you the size and it's worth! Then they would stick it in an envelope and send it off to the company who would put the pearl inside your piece of jewelry and it would be shipped to you! It's all exciting and hyped up!
Melissa you're hilarious u just can't help urself, don't ever feel bad or guilty on what u spend or how much, it's ur money & ur business... there are a lot of lovely crystals in ur haul... 👍😃💜
I love these Cristal things the mushrooms are so cut ,I have a pear and banana as presents and I love them they are so lovely I am glad you did show that little film Thank you 🌈🌈🌈🇧🇪💐💐💐💐say hello to your lovely mum and dad 😊I have a slice of a melon also .
Hi, Melissa. There's an easier way. Take a drinking glass and touch it to the inside of your wrist. Notice how cold it feels. Now, touch one of your gemstones to the same wrist. The glass will have felt fairly cool, but the gem should give you a bit of a shiver. Gems are about twice as cold as glass. Also, if you tap a gemstone gently against the edge of a tooth (wash the gem well first) it will make a glassy, high pitched sound. When you do glass the same way, it gives off a lower pitched sound, because glass is a softer material than most gem minerals.
I think you definitely got your moneys worth! They are beautiful. I purchased one tower and a heart in a shop in Newport, RI and paid $45! You got a deal!!!

The crystals are cool, and you had fun, I haven't heard of this, you can always sell them @ your flee market!!!!
I love your crystals. If it makes you happy then enjoy them. Don't worry about how everyone feels. Your face when you took them out showed your happiness. Keep being you.😘
I’ve been wanting to do this! It’s very addicting watching them do scoops. Thanks for sharing! 💜
Uuuu!!!
😅😊😉
I loved seeing them! I have never seen them before! How fun! Thanks!
Melissa I'm drooling absolutely beautiful. You know it's not about the money it's about the joy it brings you and the beauty. I'm going to save up and give me two scoops.. they are real. !!!!. Please don't hold a fire to them you're going to crack them..
also the pink and grey marbled tower and the tiny mushrooms as well as the little heart dishes and the hearts with the geods are to freaking die for
So glad I came across your video! I have been addicted to Highland Crystal for a few weeks and ended up doing 3 orders (oops, also conversion rate from US$ to AUS$ makes it seems so much worse!) but I don't have many regrets, was good fun to watch the scoops and the hosts have great energy! Love your collection
p.s. your comment is so right! Feel bad for ordering them but it's not a big gut-wrenching remorse 😂
I have been watching these lives on tiktok forever!! I can't stop!!
Good job resisting. I totally got sucked in. Lol. Now I scroll right past them. Lol.
I was just watching them last night! I would love to buy one or two scoops, but I'd rather have more skulls and mushrooms!!
I think you got a great amount of product for what you spent. Crystals are super expensive and this is a great way to build a collection
I just love the way you looked when you said how much you loved them so happy for you and that makes it all worth the cost great video 💜🌻✌🏻
They do look pretty - you spent your own money? How can you be judged? I wouldn't have spent that amount but I've loved seeing them, so thank you !
Omg the next morning I was like did I really buy that many. Lol. So glad you enjoyed it.
They are beautiful...polished stones, some crystals...gorgeous
I feel if it makes you happy then it's worth the money. Also as someone that buys crystals...I think you got a good haul!
I love crystals, if I did something like this I'd get all junk ones I'm sure, but these are awesome ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Omg. I have gotten stuck watching these so many times!! It's fascinating! I haven't indulged yet but I've been so tempted! 😂😂
Love it! I'm sure you'll have no problem selling them as single pieces or in little bundles.
So glad you enjoyed it! I hope I can.
I already know which ones I'd buy if I can afford them.
The ones with the dent are also called Prayer Stones or Worry stones. The can be rubbed for release of stress.
Great buy! 🙂👍🌹☮
You look sooo happy, you've made my day! Crystals are your life blood ☺️ 🥰 ☺️
So far I’ve resisted the scoops. Beads are one of my weaknesses, but turn me loose in a rock shop. Now I’m going to have to try this.
Melissa, these are great. They are well worth the money you spent....good for you ♥️♥️
You should make those mushrooms into necklaces with matching earring set! I would buy it up IMMEDIATELY at the flea market
I have seen these tik toks, they are so addicting. I have been wanting to get some scoops!! Thanks for sharing!!
Hi Melissa, I’m definitely going to have to check that out on TikTok, which could be dangerous, lol. Watching you show all of these crystals, definitely sparks my interest. I love the Christmas trees.
Hey! I wish you the best of luck. I could not stop myself. So addictive.
You are not alone Melissa. I love crystals and polished stones. They are so pretty. I also love Swarovski crystals.
I've been wanting to order these every time I see them. The only thing that stopped me was the $40 price then added shipping
It was just too much, but believe me I've been looking for lower prices.
The one you call a bowl is actually what is called a worry stone.
Rub the center when you are worried or in a lot of stress….very soothing
I've not learned that from the comments. I'm going to keep one in my purse.
@@TheCheapChick yes, I've called those "worry stones" all my life. You rub your thumb on the center dent. 😘😘
Those would be great for jewelry. I truly did get sucked in but I did have alot of fun.
These are so beautiful and I would have done it and I quit drinking 34 years ago😆It's true👌Don't let anyone give you shame...👍💞❣💋
I love your haul! I have purchased a TON of these scoops, so far I have not been disappointed! I loved your video!
Be sure to cleanse them with sage before using them and don’t forget to charge them under the full moon! 🧙🏻
I cleanse mine in a bowl of salt. Is that okay?
I don't know anything about crystals. What does that do?
@@shannonwiese5889 I have NO IDEA
Awesome video! I’m not on tic tok but love this idea.
I’ve gotten a few crystals hear and there but after my SO inherited a bunch I’m in love!
I’ll have to add to it and this seems the way ☺️
Thanks for another great video!!
I love them! You did get a great deal, the biggest hearts reail for around $50 each!
I was gonna say they have to be at least 25 and up . 50 doesn't surprise me !
I love the heart w geode inside, the moon and little mushrooms. Crystals were making Paco sleepy🥰
oh man ngl i looked up crystal scoop unboxing videos lowkey hoping it would show me they weren’t worth it because i’m trying to save money, but DANG that haul is NICE and i don’t think the prices are that bad for what they show in the lives! i’m one or two glasses of wine away from ordering a few scoops for myself lol. i don’t know what different crystals are supposed to do spiritually, but i love pretty rocks and those crystals would look so nice with the potted plants on my desk at work!
I'm watching one right now trying not to order. Came to UA-cam hoping someone saves my bank account. No one is helping me.
I have I intuition in the day that makeup Scoops went away and Crystal Scoops went away I tried to get on there in order my final scoops
I didn't have no idea what was going on but I just had this heavy feeling that I had to order last night
oh I think they got rid of it the day before because I didn't see anybody on this site that night I wasn't really paying attention
I wish I would have gotten five scoops and 14U scoop after that because they were throwing in a bunch of freebie stuff that went alone was worth fifty bucks
Your videos are so much fun, I totally love them.
No I wouldn’t buy. They are not authentic crystals. Look like semiprecious gemstones and polished rocks.
So many pretty crystals!! I'd love a mystery box! I don't do Tiktok but I'd be sucked into something like that 😁
I love them, especially the towers and that big firey one! You did good!
Just wanna start by saying, I really enjoy your channel! You make me laugh and you don't take yourself too seriously! Just a suggestion for your baby 🍄s. Gift them to your house plants. Crystals have great energy and plants love them too!
I have also been sucked into the crystals on TikTok. I love them
I watch these when I can’t fall asleep, I fall asleep and wake to live has ended lol!
For some reason I find the live feeds of these scooping videos relaxing and calming….🤷🏼♀️
They really are.
The skulls
Wow, love the amethyst bracelet, they are allll awesome!!! A beautiful collection. Enjoy it. Don't feel guilty.
I got hooked too!!! I hope all the crystals bring you so much joy !!! :)
I can totally understand. My late night sleeping pill shopping was 125 balls of yarn…lmao. Thank goodness it was awesome colours.
Wow! I got stuck to crystals the same way. It is a thrill. And they are great sellers.
Always watch it on TikTok but never ordered! Thanks for sharing your crystals now I know!
I'm proud of you not not caving like me. Lol
