I am French, 78, and very traditional. However, Valentina, I learned a lot on your channel. It inspired me to incorporate modern accessories all over my house. I love it. Thank you for your impeccable taste, your beautiful personality and your husband is a definite plus!😀👏
Blues and greens are my jam. They bring the outdoors in, reflect nature, are calming and pair so well with neutrals like black, white, cream, taupe, gray and metallics of all kinds.
We definitely have the same taste in color palettes because blues and greens are always my go to colors. And I pair them with whites and grays. These are literally the colors in my home right now.
I still love the deep and dark colors. I'm just painting my bedroom peppercorn. These colors you can decorate. Will never go out of style. Like you said you can build on it... not starting over every time you paint.
Ms Val I literally just completed painting my entire house using your home as my inspiration. Literally from the fire place in Midnight oil to the Kitchen cabinets in Nightclub... to my bedroom in Locust Black ...Doors in Limo Black and its surrounded by White Chantiliy and I did my office in a bold Shamrock Green....AND I Positively LOVE Everything ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well I just built a new home and I kept my walls neutral. I always use the trendy colors (if I like them) in my accents and accessories. Love all your videos and helpful tips and information. The design world is a continuously changing force ❤😊
We used SW St Barts & SW Rainwashed as two accent colors in our new house- St Barts in our study/ music room and powder bath, Rainwashed in the master bedroom. The remainder of the house is Agreeable Gray. I love how the St Barts changes through the day as the light changes. I’m a huge blue & green fan!!
Transplant from SF and my front door has been painted Fireweed for years- it is the actual color of the Golden Gate Bridge. Love it and I love the connection to home.
I personally, prefer all white walls. I have been to a home however, with the most gorgeous, moody colored grey walls with a medium grey color sofas, some medium to deep orange walls, lighter colored grey flooring, forest green walls with black in the bathrooms, copper, white, and black accessories incorporated throughout the home...It's exquisite looking...
I used raisin on kitchen cabinets with white quartz counters and really love it. It reads like a dark brown with purple undertones. Works like a black but not quite as harsh.
Its funny that gray is out but so many grays or muted color with gray undertones. That's why I don't think you can ever say anything is out. Yes it may not be trendy but neutrals especially will have some iteration that is now. I love the marketing aspects of this. I don't believe any of these are new colors they just reimagined the groupings. Kudos, I have only used SW colors and Tricorn Black is my fav true black.
Agreed but I think they are referring to all over grey everything , floor to ceiling. I still rock my repose Grey but I juxtaposed it with warm, dark wood floors. A classic and beautiful contrast imo.
I had already selected Tricorn black to redo my dining room in so it’s cool to see it on the list. I’ll keep my grays too but I also love the dark colors.
Loved this one!! What a beautiful, calming and rich pallet. There is something for everyone but the saturated jeweled tones are so elegant. I gravitate towards the greens and blues because that combination of green trees and blue sky is unbeatable. Thank you for sharing your fun enthusiasm with us. 🇩🇴
2024! We just painted our entire home’s interior Egret White, including doors, trim and ceiling (less the bedrooms, bathrooms & laundry). It’s yummy and soothing. Looking forward to your picks. ❤
I repainted my entire house and did all the rooms in Snowbound. I was so tired of dark rooms. I can now decorate with any colors and it will blend great with white walls
Valentina, I really like your color pallet. My hubby and I hope to buy another home next year and my decor plan incorporates your color selections. Not as minimal as your style…going a bit more glam/formal, but love your direction. Thanks for the inspiration!
I'm with you, I love dark colors for contrast & coziness. If you can't commit, try doing your ceiling in darker color, or trim. My whole bedroom will be a dark smokey purple (walls/ceiling/trim), and black door with trim
I’m a black and white girly, just purchased a cream round real leather couch so excited. I love your living room and all your colors in your home . In my black and white bedroom I did add a little pink. Painted my TV wall black in living room. Love love your decorations 💁♀️❤️
I painted my dinning room SW jogging Path. It has a green undertone. I just knew I didn’t want a red, blue, yellow or purple undertone so I went with green and I’m so happy with it.
We did Peppercorn in our bathroom and love it! And a few shades darker than Half-Caff in our bedroom. Love that one too! This color palette is giving me ideas for our kitchen cabinets 💭 🤔 Which I need to decide soon!!
Wow! I really love those blues and greens. They are very classic looking like Georgian era? Billiard green looks very Ralph Lauren… love it! I have to find some where to paint that color.
I’m so happy the greys are out I’ve been so lost trying to make my other colors work I’ve never been happier to have my browns back - tans beige camel off white to go with my black and white … everything fits together now!!!! Can’t wait to see your Fall colors!!!! It’s my favorite season !!!! so excited for cooler temps!!!!!! 🤍🖤🤎🤍🖤🤎🤍🖤🤎
Browns were never gone, were they? I still love my light grey curtains and light grey sofa..although I´m waiting for my creme textured covers for it 😃 But a warm brown with a tiny hint of burgundy is lovely just like the outside when the leaves change into stunning colors😊
Always check your colors in all kinds of lighting. Outside at different times of day for exterior colors, or inside with the window shades open and closed, at night with lamps and different temperature bulbs. Like any relationship, lighting affects colors. And also your relationship with the space tells you what colors to use. Listen to the space. What is speaking to you? What is permanently there, and what goes with that in the natural window lighting that is there. If it’s a basement, then you have more flexibility with the color of the bulbs. But if you listen, the room will tell you what colors to use. That’s my experience anyway. (My laundry room picked Tanzanite! Who am I to argue?)
I actually used the Smokey Azurite in my home, chose it spring 2022, it is a beautiful color, dried a little darker. Our exterior color is close to the pewter green, I would love it more had my husband listened and chose a more contrasting color it would be more striking. Thank you for sharing ! Edit I also used Greek Vila on my kitchen wall cabinets, with mat black islands.
Are you that indecisive that you need a new color once a week! Why not just go neutral and change out pillows and spreads for the seasons? It takes a lot of work to paint.
I like this anthology, it's sort of like a more curated collection of colors to help limit the thousands of options. I am loving the more muted tones and the warmer tones as well. I like that trends lately seem to be encompassing more styles to allow everyone to be "in trend" but in a way that they can keep in their lives for some time to come. Also, do you guys have any videos on matching ceiling color with wall colors? Thanks for the video!
I like the bottom row of saturated colors; I’m really digging the color “raisin”. I like some of the blues and greens, like billiard green and pewter green. Aquastone, leapfrog and jaraconda are obscured colors to have on this list, in my opinion. Rhapsody lilac is way too bright for my taste. I was sad when you said grays are leaving us, but I feel better knowing that many grays are still on the list for 2024. I have peppercorn in my entry but it pulls very blue. I should have gone with tricorn black. I like the tints but not if they lean toward mauve, as modern gray and sanddollar appear to. Thanks for always being so upbeat. I don’t know where you get all your energy from!
I absolutely Love your channel & all your great advice ♥ I wish you could come to my home & help me with this Paint Color dilemma. I truly need some help but am learning more & more with each video I watch of yours 🥰 Thank You so much for Everything
I have got to tell my daughter about this. She is a big greens and blue fan. Mostly greens. Even when she was a kid. These are all gorgeous. Bye bye to my brown living room walls! What I like changes with the seasons so I think i'll use these as accents. After 20 years I need new furniture anyway right? lol
Most of my apartment is now green, looks like a bit darker and more blue than Honeydew - I wanted something calming but my apartment is entirely north facing, so I made it a little warmer. My bedroom and bathroom are similar to (a little darker and bluer?) than Rhapsody Lilac, because I wanted calming, I heard green is bad for bedroom/ bathroom because it makes skin look weird, and lilac is my favourite colour.
We built our house in 2017. The interior walls are SW Dover White and front door is Tricorn Black. I thought about painting interior doors in Tricorn Black but haven't dared to yet. BTW, one color I CANNOT stand is gray anything!!!!
Hi Valentina! I absolutely love your channel and designed my bedroom based on your guidance and expertise 😊 I followed your color pallet of black and white. Without knowing Behr 2024 color of the year, I actually picked it for an accent wall in my bedroom!!! So proud of myself! Thank you so much for everything you do!! Truly appreciate it!❤ I also love your fashion channel!
Loving Dulux Natural white on the walls. It’s not reacting to the red shed outside, looks great in a room without much sunlight and in full sun it’s a rich deep white cream (not very yellow). It’s a slightly warm white and making me smile every time I walk into the main area. I chose 3 similar whites to sample and couldn’t believe the differences on the walls. Any time I’ve had a blue wall I haven’t liked it even though it’s my favourite colour. Saving blue for some seasonal accents.
My daughter scored a cute short denim dress with snap up front for me. Love it. I like you bodega bag, its woven like a huracan shoe!. It would be my luck I would catch it on everything. Love the look. Ordered my denim skirt, it's a midi. Will look good with my booties. I'm a very natural 72 years no wrinkles. Use vaseline on my face twice daily. I'm grooven, cant get pregnant, life is good! Lolololol

Blues and greens are totally my colors ❣️

I love the deep, dark colors personally, but can also appreciate the bright, happy colors.
Blues and greens... and in between teals... this is my jam! Coastal, nature inspired!
Blue and greens and light colors inside . Bold and saturated outside . I won’t grow tired of these colors .
Terracotta interiors are timeless imo.
Well I just built a new home and I kept my walls neutral. I always use the trendy colors (if I like them) in my accents and accessories. Love all your videos and helpful tips and information. The design world is a continuously changing force ❤😊
Would love to see your laundry room if it is finished and an update on your kitchen organization.
My Brooklinen sheets are my favorite sheets I’ve ever had. Cooling, soft, clean beautifully.
Transplant from SF and my front door has been painted Fireweed for years- it is the actual color of the Golden Gate Bridge. Love it and I love the connection to home.

My thoughts exactly!
Mine too…my camel with grey undertones SW Flax…is right in style.
Agreed but I think they are referring to all over grey everything , floor to ceiling. I still rock my repose Grey but I juxtaposed it with warm, dark wood floors. A classic and beautiful contrast imo.
I wanted gray in my new condo… I just could never commit. I went full on black!
Exactly!! I’m painting my walls pale gray 🩶 tomorrow and am soooooo excited 😆
I had already selected Tricorn black to redo my dining room in so it’s cool to see it on the list. I’ll keep my grays too but I also love the dark colors.
That billiard green....my heart!!!!!! Cabinets in this colour with marble counter tops or black soapstone would be to die for!!!!
I love these tips. I have to do some painting soon and this video really helps me with choosing a color.
Because we are coastal I lean towards coastal chic and coastal colors - whites. creams, greys and blues such as navy to lighter navy and black.
I’m loving this! Greens have always been my favorite!!!! Ready to start getting rid of my gray walls! I love the billiard green and the pewter green!💚
I love looking at paint trend colours. I like dark furnature. I have wood and brown furbature. Then I use colour to accent. Thank you for this video
My house is painted black & white. Ahead of the trends 😀
2024! We just painted our entire home’s interior Egret White, including doors, trim and ceiling (less the bedrooms, bathrooms & laundry). It’s yummy and soothing. Looking forward to your picks. ❤

When you did the intro saying we were going to be on trend... girl, I knew you were talking to ME and it was about BLACK!! Love it! 🖤
Yeah!
I just painted my bedroom in Redend Point today. We love it, it brings so much life and also calming in the space.
I’m a black and white girly, just purchased a cream round real leather couch so excited. I love your living room and all your colors in your home . In my black and white bedroom I did add a little pink. Painted my TV wall black in living room. Love love your decorations 💁♀️❤️
How fun if you are building, remodeling, refreshing your walls. 💕💕
I like muted. We have enough excitement in my busy family and I appreciate the calm.
Would love to see Valentina do a room in one of these deeper non-monochromatic color palettes, in her own or maybe in a client's room
Anything outside of black and white and she would go into shock!
I love the whites and the deep dark colors the most!
Why? I am all in on black and white. No one is going to tell me to go another color!
I painted my dinning room SW jogging Path. It has a green undertone. I just knew I didn’t want a red, blue, yellow or purple undertone so I went with green and I’m so happy with it.
I love that dark brown/Grey. It's sooo soothing!
We did Peppercorn in our bathroom and love it! And a few shades darker than Half-Caff in our bedroom. Love that one too! This color palette is giving me ideas for our kitchen cabinets 💭 🤔 Which I need to decide soon!!

I really appreciate your positive voice and approach ❤

I took screenshots, multiples, of the ENTIRE Vol 2, Reds & Purples. Omgosh, gorgeous. And, I'm a blue person...
I actually used the Smokey Azurite in my home, chose it spring 2022, it is a beautiful color, dried a little darker. Our exterior color is close to the pewter green, I would love it more had my husband listened and chose a more contrasting color it would be more striking.
Thank you for sharing !
Edit
I also used Greek Vila on my kitchen wall cabinets, with mat black islands.
I just watched this the day after I painted my 1895 music room “Intuitive”. Love it!
Yes!!!! All deeps and darks!!!! I have tricorn black trim and doors and snowbound walls!!!!
I love that!
Love the blues and greens
Greek Villa is my most fav white too! But wow to the blues and greens. Yummy. And the soft sand tans. This is gonna be fun. ❤️❤️❤️😉
My front door is redend point. It’s fabulous with my dark grey green house and turns different shades of dusty pink/brown throughout the day. ❤
I love that billiard green!!!! And those deep blues are so pretty! 🤍🤎🖤🤍🤎🖤🤍🤎🖤
Billiard green was perfect!
If I could, I’d change up my room colors once a week! 🤣 These are all so awesome! It changes the flavor of the room, even if nothing else changes.
Are you that indecisive that you need a new color once a week! Why not just go neutral and change out pillows and spreads for the seasons? It takes a lot of work to paint.
We just moved into our new home and used "In the Navy" as an accent color in many rooms and LOVE it! Offset it with a neutral beige.
You look so beautiful! Looking forward to watching this and seeing if any of the colours tempt me 🙂❤️
Thank you so much!!

My favorite is evergreen fog! I painted my living room evergreen fog 2 years ago and still love it
Love the look of SW pewter green!
I LOVE THE reds and purples I'm so Not the dark colors category. ❤️ your content ✨️
I was thinking of doing the red/purple family, in decor only, for the winter. HOWEVER, I’m big on the deeps and darks rn!!!
color trends,yes
Great video. Very surprised that grays are still hanging around with a new twist. Thank you Valentina.
That Raisin colour is gorgeous 🥰🇬🇧🔥xxxx
Dark grey green
I like the bottom row of saturated colors; I’m really digging the color “raisin”. I like some of the blues and greens, like billiard green and pewter green. Aquastone, leapfrog and jaraconda are obscured colors to have on this list, in my opinion. Rhapsody lilac is way too bright for my taste.

My exterior house is evergreen fog and I have many sage green muted colors indoor. So pretty.
Yay at last color. My bedroom is similar to current red and so are some accent walls is living/dining room. This woman loves color.🎨
Ha, that’s awesome!
Ohhh. I love the moody color palette.
Any suggestion for kitchen walls please??
I used Drift of Mist in my downstairs halls. I love it.
Beautiful colors.
Love the reds...like a brick red!
Resend point and chinchilla are gorgeous! Sealskins raisin ❤The others are great too.
Hi Valentina! Have you ever done a video on which paint colors look great in North facing rooms?
Healing Room waiting for soothing colors! Thank you timely for sure! Intuitive, Hmmm
These make my happy place happy! 🥰 @HouseOfValentina what about painting exterior brick???
Painting brick is definitely a great way to update the exterior of a home.
Could you have a video on how you create your mood boards?
excellent video thank you
I used Drift of Mist in my bedroom. It’s beautiful.
Some of my colors were on here too and that is exciting!
deep dark color, dear lord, how good I feel..
Nope nope nope. No green on my walls. I'd look like Shrek.
I am a deep and dark fan.
I absolutely Love your channel & all your great advice ♥ I wish you could come to my home & help me with this Paint Color dilemma. I truly need some help but am learning more & more with each video I watch of yours 🥰 Thank You so much for Everything
Sherwin has some good colors. Our exterior is Downing Slate and our doors are Bolero red. Stunning together!
I almost went Pearl Noir with the exterior. But the landlord said no purple 😝! (Some day!)
I have got to tell my daughter about this. She is a big greens and blue fan. Mostly greens. Even when she was a kid. These are all gorgeous. Bye bye to my brown living room walls! What I like changes with the seasons so I think i'll use these as accents. After 20 years I need new furniture anyway right? lol
I used valspar blue arrow and it always gets mentioned or something very similar. I've had it for about 6 years or so. ❤❤❤
You’re right about green. I would definitely be careful with it in the bathroom. It can mess with the way your skin looks in the mirror.
We built our house in 2017. The interior walls are SW Dover White and front door
is Tricorn Black. I thought about painting interior doors in Tricorn Black but haven't dared to yet. BTW, one color I CANNOT stand is gray anything!!!!
Where is Jack
He’s sitting right next to me!
I need small bathroom tips for color and decor!
Valentina, could you do an eternal color pallette across the brands?
Hi Valentina! I absolutely love your channel and designed my bedroom based on your guidance and expertise 😊 I followed your color pallet of black and white. Without knowing Behr 2024 color of the year, I actually picked it for an accent wall in my bedroom!!! So proud of myself! Thank you so much for everything you do!! Truly appreciate it!❤ I also love your fashion channel!
I love her style too
I am seeing muted gray undertones in many of these 2024 paint trend colors you are presenting here. Thought gray was out.
Valentina, would you do Dove Wing on the exterior? Could you do a favorite exterior color video?
I love grays, blacks, and whites. So..
if I am using blank canvas (behr) or greek villa inside (bedroom south facing) what color trim If I want lighter but not stark white
Where is Jack these days?
You’re saying crispness and all I keep hearing is they’ve got a real Christmas to them which tells me the sheets must be REALLY good
Can we please, talk about darker colour on the ceiling? I have that vision walls and ceiling in the same... what do.U think ? Sending hugs 😊
Loving Dulux Natural white on the walls. It’s not reacting to the red shed outside, looks great in a room without much sunlight and in full sun it’s a rich deep white cream (not very yellow).
