those poor tie rods lol
HELP!!
Some smart guy probably went to the nearest o'reilly and bought out their whole inventory and made some serious cash in the parking lot
The second truck nearly succumbed to the "Whistlin Diesel" cheap tie rod end debacle. Jesus that was some real flex there. Alignment is probably toe-in after that one.
The chevys going all weird on the front tires they clench like a anus
At least none broke down like the Fords and Dodges 😂
@@campbell0162
There was only one Ford in this whole video wtf are you on about
@@campbell0162 Wouldn't wanna drive on the road afterword's. They should really buy some beefier tire rod ends before pullin like this
Also the only truck that broke just blew a boot. Easy fix and happens all the time when making that much boost
And yet the chevy beat them all
All these dodges did not win, noobs with their tow mirrors down... everybody knows if you have them up you have MO POWA BABBY
MO POWA BABBY
mow pow babeh
Some tough and great looking trucks here !
Flag guy does his hand signals in the drivers A pillar blind spot almost every time 😂
Hopefully they see him
Yet another cool mix of pulling trucks! Factory pulling weekend warriors, daily drivers having fun! Keep em coming EEEEEPulling!
Wow I missed this message as well as a bunch of others. Thanks for the good words! We try to post daily
Looks like if tierods is our only issue on gm we lookimg good lol
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Pro cause the tie rods are from Japan... just like the motor is
Yo that was crazy right what was with all the cross legged gm's?
Omg I was waiting for the tie rods to snap on the Chevy in the beginning
If half of the Duramax trucks would of invested in sleeves or heavy tie rods they might of went another 5-10ft since their front tires wouldn’t of been pulling toward each other. Proud of the little lady in the black dodge putting a hurtin on 99% of the guys there
I’m a Chevy guy and I agree with the first part of your statement, but I’m not pleased with the last part...
TexanErection did the black dodge not take the sled on down the track farther than most of the Duramax trucks lol I like em all but to see that young lady out there running like she’s an old pro have to say I’m proud of her
Dom M oh, then I guess I agree with your whole statement.
Every single one of those duramaxs have sleeved tie rods or heavy duty ones. Stock ones wouldn’t have lasted 20 feet
Kendal Dueck idk what brand of sleeves or tie rods they bought but the two sets of rare parts had tie rods and idle arm braces I ran on my 06 and 03 dmaxs never let the tires try to toe in like these boys tires did
Stock tie rods exposed here!
Stock chevy tie rods, ford and dodge don’t have that problem
Jeff Clark can you not see the tires? These are daily drivers and yes stock tie rods snap so easily. My buddy has a duramax and can snap them by just launching hard.
Chad Hickey I know all too well about chevy tie rods and steering issues. I was merely saying Dodge and ford didn’t have that problem in their heavy duty trucks. All solid front axles though to be fair
How didn't they break!?!
Freedom Rides they bend. Or they bend the tabs on the frame that hold the idler arm. I’ve seen it and fixed it
Good job Ron Clark.
Dodges breaking down
These are my favorites to watch pull
(And always wonder if half of the GM trucks need an alignment after doing this)
And even though it really wouldn’t matter I’ve always wanted one of the magazines or shows to test bone stock trucks like this (well, have to make sure the tires are the same as tires make just as much if not more difference in how they do in a sled pull as power does)
While no truck is designed to sled pull right off the showroom floor, and 99% of them sold will never be hitched to the sled, I’d sill be interested to see which does the best just based off an entertainment factor lol
They dont need a alignment, they need new tie rods. Lots of good after market options for those GM trucks though
@@SandersChicken yes, I would never consider pulling a GM without better tie rods
Literally just started watching these vids in the past few days. Could someone explain to me what's going on and how they come to a stop?
Nice black Dodge Ram 2500.
Good job
that red gmc @5:19 with a turbo vortec is cool as hell
Hell is Hot!! Not cool!! Just saying!!🤣😂😉
Proof chevy needs a solid front axle like a big boy truck
6.0 doin work
Bow tie gang for the win!!💪🏼
He'll yeah 💪
Someone get kryptonite on the horn!
Is that selinsgrove pa?
RIP TO THE TIERODS LOST ON THIS DAY🙏
Amen 🙂
Them tie rods just ain’t having it solid axels are the way to go
At least the tie rods doesn't create death wobblel like the sfa.
Nothing a new steering damper won't cure ! Lol
Man the upgraded tie rods ain’t even that expensive lol.
Well why you guys talking about chevy when they done better than anything there lmao dam junk dodges blowing up one after the other but let's talk about chevy tierods that didn't break by the way🤡
❤️❤️❤️
Does tread type have any bearing on the outcome of the pull? I believe the winning truck was running Nittos.
Yeah tread helps a lot
@@SandersChicken takes a good combo and driver
Hey I can't seem to find answers online, what does "sled set" and "dropped to last" mean? As in the first red duramax. Thanks!
Pulling sleds have gears that determine how fast the weight box runs forward. If someone goes too far out in the first couple of hooks, they can "reset the sled" and stop the pullers sooner. Typically, the first puller in the class AFTER the sled is set can choose to keep or drop the hook. This will either be to 3rd puller or last puller, to give them a chance to do better than their first attempt.
@@coldengeisewite2838 That makes sense, thanks!
Can you do more forwards forward forward F2F250
😳👏👏👏✌👍
Man those tie rods flex a lot. I guess with your tires toed in like that your truck will pull straight, but a set of Kryptonite tie rod ends will stop that real quick. Also that brand new GMC at 7:56 didn't look half bad considering the new Sierra's are kinda ugly
not gonna lie i like the newer sierras over the silverados as far as looks go... in my opinion at least
@@dustinschulz8207 I agree
Why do the trucks slow down tho? If they already have that momentum going why it cant go further
The weight in the sled moves further forward as they progress down the track making it dig further into the ground
@@SVTKing1908 ohhhh, thank you
Any one notice the front tires toe in under power on the general moters products
That’s the drawback on the independent front suspension with pulling trucks. It’ll snap those tie rods lol
So when the front tires point inward, that's caused by bad tie rods?
weak yes. Common Stock GM problem
Why do Chevy fronts do that under pull? Is this all isf issues?
Just weak tie rods and steering center link. It’s a fairly easy fix if people would just do it.
@@mudbuster50 thanks, I’ve seen a lot of pulling but I’ve never seen a front end do that so common so I had to know what was going on
@@wiggitywhitefox No problem. If you watch the straight axles they do this also, just not as noticeable. If you're throwing power down like that you'll find the weak link in any rig. All though I will say I've seen some Duramax truck spank the cummins bubba's.
Gm truck tie rods just giving up on life lol
Bro, the second Duramax that pulled said 🙅
I want to do this
Tie rod has left the chat
Weak chevy tie rods doing the stanky leg
Not one bow tie broke down
Every single one needed some serious alignment work afterwards though
It takes HP to break.....see what I did there?!....😆
Most people on here saying dodges suck when 3 of the 4 placed in the top 5 and 2 placed 2nd and 3rd. With there being 1 ford in the field that mean 10 GM's was represented and 1 beat everyone (bad ass truck). That being said I think its clear to see that dodge aren't as bad and horrible as yall make it out to be. Now a moment of silence for the tie rods and transmissions that were sacrificed in this event haha.
I don’t understand what’s so special about pulling 8500 pounds, these trucks can pull way more than that. Hell my 1500 can pull 12,000 Someone enlighten me more on this
Thats 8500 pounds ending up on a flat sled dragging the ground. If the weight box stayed on the wheels of the sled any truck could do it.
The truck weighs 8500 lbs. Not the sled
Like where the fords at tho
They can’t hang with Cummins and duramaxes 🤷♂️
Ford owners ain’t out tryna win a dick measuring contest. They’re out doing the work these trucks wish they could
Joshua Earnheart YESSIR
That second guy def has stock tie rods
Should have been made strong enough from the factory ! Their really not much heavier than the 1500 Chevy's if you compare them .
All the chevys front suspension look weird
I kinda wanna pull on my stock tie rods just to break em. I want kryptonite or PPE.
Dude fucking dodges kept breaking lol I'm die hard chevy but it's hard to beat a dodge pulling atleast when they aren't breaking
Of course the dodges all blew up lol
Don't worry , there's plenty more duramax's than cummins had that happen ! Cummins is proven to take the most abuse ! Fact !!
Michael Pincavitch facts. You can put a Cummins through hell and it will still work like new
Tie rod sleeves are cheap!
Dodges breaking down and Chevys showing off their weak tie rods.
IFS on a 3/4 1 ton..... LOL......
And still outperform all other brands! Any way smoother ride is a big bonus.
@@whistlinduramax7723 Not true at all
Tons of shitty Chevy's run... 1st Cummins snatches the lead lol
Wow the guy driving the maroon Cummins looks like Trump! Maga!
Too many government motor garbage
The flaggers made the show 10xs gayer
Man Chevy is such garbage build a real front end for once
Comes to show Chevy is the toughest and best lookin Trucks and dodge are the worst and ugly as hell 😂
