Hope you feel better soon. I have blood clots in my lung not from covid but breathing like that sucks. Get better soon and you motivated me to upgrade and install new sound bar speakers.
It’s been 4 weeks and 1 day since my grandma has been in the hospital due to covid … she has covid pneumonia/ inflammation of the lungs and fibrosis. She had to go on and off of the bipap. It’s really scary since she’s going through delirium and isn’t really conscious like she was before she came in she’s 82. Please pray for her 😞
How are you feeling? Are you improving? I am 3 weeks and 3 days with Covid Pneumonia. My temp is normal for 9 days now. 2 weeks and 3 days ago I got Antibodies (Regeneron). I struggle to breath and my oxygen is 90-93 unless I lay on my stomach then I can get it to 94-95. I cough up clear mucus all day. I think things are getting better but recovery is so slow. It feels like 1-2% better a day. I just hope I can get close to normal in a month or two.
I've been out of the hospital for a month and 11 days now.. My oxygen is now around 95-98% depending on what I'm doing. I'm finally off the oxygen completely as of this past Friday. Even though my my oxygen is improving I still feel like I have to struggle for oxygen so I do my breathing exercises every day.. it is a slow heeling process and yes, maybe 1% improvement per day so far. I would say I'm about 75-80% of where I should be. Probably a few more months.
I'm not trying to start a argument, but are you Vax? I feel like I'm in the same situation soon. Hopefully not. How did you know when it was time to go to the hospital for breathing issues? Thanks
Hey bro.Its Jeff from the JJUSA trip this year. If you still have my cell, give me call! I'd like to hear from you. Hope you're feeling better and the family is well.
Hey. How are you feeling now. I got the same thing in hospital for 21 days and home on oxygen now. Are you still on medication. And how are you feeling. It is a long process.
Doing much better now.. thanks for asking. 5 months later and I would say amount 90-95% back. Some of my joint pain is starting to go away and yes I've had joint pain almost every day since. Hurts to stand after sitting down even a half hour. Starting to slowly exercise. I'm still on blood thinners for my blood clot and probably will be another month or so... taking my vitamins every day as well.
I hope you are feeling better. I am also recovering from covid pnemonia. Can you give us more details. Waht was your oxyge. When you were admited and what is it without respiratory? Covid pnemonia sucks so bad. I am 37 and work out 5 days aweek. I am healthy but got this crap. I can hardly go to the restroom withiut feeling like im gon a pass out.
Thank you, when I got admitted I was at around 50% (pretty critical). I was pretty delirious. I know what you mean, the recovery process really sucks. I’ve been out two weeks now and I can only do about 20 minutes of activity before I get winded and have to sit and catch my breath. Lost 30lbs while in the hospital. Been able to put 10 back on so far. I also now have diabetes now that I didn’t have before and have to take insulin during the recovery process.. Depending on the day, without the oxygen I run at 87-93. With oxygen,97-99. However, at night it can drop below 88 so I sleep with it on still. Please take it easy, I thought I could get up and move some stuff around I almost ended up back in the hospital. So now I take my time and breath.
Not yet, Doctor advised I wait a while before I take the vaccine. at least 4 months. I did have a blood clot they found and I am currently taking blood thinners for that. I was pre-diabetic before hand but after covid I became a full blown diabetic. Taking insulin now. Today, I would say I'm at about 80%, got my oxygen back but now I need to build my lungs and muscle back up and get rid of the blood clot. thanks for asking!
@@BullGearOffRoad thank you for responding! Don't get the stick...you will have already got the antibodies to heal you...this stick is not for everyone... thank you again for sharing!
@@NeeHeChose I started with brief walks, first to my driveway, then to my mailbox.. which is only a half block from residence then eventually all the way around the block. I also, did lung exercises before bed (I felt that's when I had the least amount of oxygen so I some deep breathing exercises I found on youtube). I tried not to stay still without overdoing it. I am now starting to slowly ride my indoor bike..20 minutes in the morning.
Hi, thanks for asking. I'm feeling much better. I did have what they call the Covid Fog and was having a hard time off focusing on anything but I think I'm finally passed it and actually posted a few videos just today from right before I got Covid. I'm still recovering but I think the hard part is over and can start building my muscle and lungs back up.
@@BullGearOffRoad oh ok that’s good to know, my mom just got this about a week ago, I’m not near her so I was worrying but I feel she can pull through it’s just going to be a long process! Glad to hear your good and getting through!
No, I was at the cusp of needing one but was on the highest setting for oxygen for about a week before they started dialing it down. So wa lucky there.
You sound like what I am going through. I was hospitalized on Dec 27th after testing positive on Dec 23rd. I was diagnosed with COVID pneumonia moderate to severe in both lungs. I was on highest oxygen on a airflow. Next step was a bipap machine but never got that far. My oxygen levels stayed up while the respiratory therapist titrated me down. Then went to the nasal cannula and continued to do well. Was discharged on Jan 13th with oxygen. Have been decreased on the oxygen to 2 liters at rest and 4 liters with physical assertion. Have traveling nurses coming twice a week. And got to get a chest x-ray at the end of the month. I never smoked and am on blood thinners so I don't get a blood clot. Sounds like things get better. I send my prayers that you get fully healed and soon.
Doing much better, thanks for asking. Just need to get back in shape.. still getting a little winded when I try to do too much so I can tell my lungs are not 100% yet.. but went on my first short mtn bike ride this week.
Hi Debra, I actually got Covid in August so I'm getting closer to the 4 month mark now. I would say I'm about 80%. I haven't regained all my muscle back and I have a little stiffness when getting up after sitting too long. My oxygen level is averaging about 95% currently. I probably need a few more months of healing at this rate. Thanks for asking.
Everybody is effected differently. Hope to see you improve soon!
Thanks Justin
Get better, genuinely hoping the best for you and yours.
Thank you.

Is loss of appetite a symptom of Covid Pneumonia? Are children getting this?
yes, definitely is. I lost 30lbs in 3 weeks. Crazy. I have heard of children getting it but not very common.
