I use to run silent fill o rings in my oem tm hi capa mags, but encountered issues with the mag not filling correctly.The o-ring would interfere sometimes and cause gas to spill out on the sides. I personally don't run o rings myself since i like the audio and visual indication that my mag is filled all the way without interference. I believe the tm mags are designed to leak air while filling so liquid gas can go in more quickly . I think these will be good for non-tm mags through
TBH, if you're hearing a hissing as in the pre-O-ring section, I would think you're not seating the valve of the gas cannister fully. I employ a slightly stronger grip with EACH hand than you show, and I hear NO noise when filling, just a quick spit when I remove the can. Or, maybe it's just my magic touch.... ;)
Hi there I am new to airsoft and have just purchased a WE Tech 2:36 Hi-capa 5.1 R version pistol, I love it however I would like to ‘upgrade’ some of the internals. Shooting straight out of the box with 0.20gr bbs on a 10 shot string, lowest 263 fps, highest 286 fps so ok for skirmishing? What make and parts would you suggest to keep me within the legal limit for sites.

Putting that o-Ring on a filling valve of a TM is the worst you can do… it’s a venting valve so you get rid of useless air and vaporized gas… so you get much more LIQUID gas into the magazine. Sobald stop recommend buying these o-rings for TM mags

That's because they're two-way valves, they're meant to splutter and vent a little
With no o rings your magazine would not hold gas at all so you’re telling lies there my friend
