Concerning context of a passage,,, All scripture's contain nouns,pronouns, words showing action,,of sometimes emotional output,,,, to all of these words, always ask yourself the questions,,,who, what, where, when, why and sometimes how,,,,in the answers you get reveals what is the intention of the story of that passage,,,in a lot of case's the passage is a continuation of the previous passage, and even the continuation of the previous chapter,,, what brother Mike is saying is true,,, damnation and condemnation are different,,,,if you're convicted of a crime in man's Court the executive decision is the con,,,,demnig and a sentence is the judgment,,,,, God's system is pretty much the same,,,, the investigative, evidence presented brings forth the judicial,, the evidence brought before the judge, and once the books are opened and the evidence is revealed,, the judge takes all the presented evidence, and applies it to the Law and then renders a verdict,,, this where Mercy and circumstances come into the works,,, God the Father sits upon the great white throne of judgment in the day of judgement,, and on this day we pray that our sins have already been wiped away from the book of remembrance and our names are in the Lamb's book of life,,,,, damnation,,,is the act of being accused,,, condemnation is the act of judicially condemning,, found guilty,in other words of the sin/crime,,,, and so, we must endure to the end,,, while awaiting the end,,we can have mercy in a period of grace, time to repent and sin no more,,,, the thing about Bible school's is , that, those of which I know of,give strict rules as to what you teach,, by doing this they can defile the mind,,, the remedy to this is in God's word,,, pray for His spirit to lead you and guide you into the truth and then study to show yourself approved unto God, rightly dividing the word of God
