Nice info, @8:59, how can you display Lambda ? I tried giving input with trimpot for Coolant Temp but it's not responding ? I connected the trimpot directly with MCU-A1.

Hey me again buddy got a question, When assembling, for example if I’m doing the first pack of resistors, do those resistors need to go to a specific place or do all resistors in one baggy work universally with every resistor labbled on the bag?
Does anyone know can this ecu speeduino any vers run a inline 4 cylinder PSA TU5jp4 engine in sequential order. Cause therese a trick to this particular engine. There is not any camshaft position sensor for this and the OEM ecu uses special coil pack to run this engine sequentiall ignition . But i do wanna get an after market one
i can get the RPM from just one tooth on a single crank sensor, but to implement that into the speduino code? naw. i have gone through teh code countless times, i just cant find any reference to timers or pins associated with teh cranksignal side of things. im not using any of the listed methods. its easier for me to just keep going with my own lil ECU, actually.
I've connected the speeduino to tuner studio and arduistim to druid. Almost everything seems to work just fine but the spark and fuel LED's aren't flashing ans I'm still not getting crank speed (rpm). I'm using a v0.3.7 board.
Have you joined the speeduino forum? Those guys are brilliant at troubleshooting. I'd suggest maybe take a 2nd look at all of your soldering. It's usually a bad solder that causes these things. Cheers. 😊

what i never understood with most speeduino people: why would i need to test the inputs with a laptop? Wire it up to your car and fire it up- no need for wasting your time with playing with inputs.
Because most of us have never built a PCB before this, and as amateurs mistakes are made often. Bench testing allows the builder to varify that the unit is in full working order before application to the vehicle, so any faults thereafter are on the vehicle / wiring side, as opposed to the ECU. This is really basic stuff, and good insurance against ending up having no clue where to begin fault finding.
@@peteledwidge3631 Ahh your right, i ordered the presoldered SMD one for 50$ more because i didnt wanna spend 2 hours soldering and having to go trough uncountless hours of troubleshooting just because i cheaped out on 50$ …😜 But each to their own, some learn the hard way. I know for a fact that i wouldve messed up soldering 😂
@@lobotomyy lol, i soldered a bunch of vape liions to a BMS, strapped it to a solar panel. few weeks later, i pulled it open... tested batteries...hmmm. no charge? then i saw it. lol. some turkey, some dunce, went and soldered the charge pos to the charge neg... so yeah, panels been shorted out for the last month or so... meh. i find the mucking around with signals and the like is more hassle than just following the schematic. but yeah, sometimes you can make the most simple mistakes. i fried an ECU cus i didnt crimp two earth wires together at the plug.
Haha! Well, I perhaps should have just used the term Pot. The way Americans pronounce 'Aloominum' and 'Sodder' grinds my gears, but I just deal with it. 😉

Is that an ide plug on it?
Yes, IDE40 male on the board deals with most of the in / outputs. Female IDE40 to ECU plug of choice is then a simple wiring operation.
