You are doing a great thing trying to create a community of like minded productive people. Over 30 years ago we moved out into the country near other friends who did the same thing. We each had and developed 5 acre parcels. We raised 7 children in this country community along with 6 other families. Our kids grew up on very little TV and no video games, but learned how to build and fix and enjoy projects. They all learned music and mechanics, and carpentry and gardening, etc. They are all grown now and are now raising their own families in a similar fashion. They all have the belief that they can accomplish anything they put their efforts and minds to do. Now we are enjoying watching our 13 grandkids, (so far) becoming talented and productive people. We have no regrets how we raised our country kids around other country kids and families. Watching your videos brings back so many fond memories. Keep up the great goals you are pursuing. Our community is located in the Antelope Valley of Southern Calif. Where we live does not feel like California , because we are surrounded by productive like minded people who love to work and create.
After all this shizz going on in this world, I've had the most stressful 4 yrs of so much division and breaking it off with a few friends due to our differences. You all are living your best life, and we enjoy living vicariously through yours. Love the animals!

This is so cool! I almost cried when I saw all the people together. Your dream is becoming a reality! It is very amazing to get to watch it come to life!
This is community as it should be. This is the type of relationship that I tried to encourage my kids to develop as well. Over the years my children have gathered friends who become brothers and sisters and they are all my kids now. They help each other where they can, taking care of each other's animals, helping each other with things that they need done, feeding each other, staying at each other's houses, and just in general fellowshipping and enjoying each other. Acquaintances become friends, friends become family, and family stays together no matter how far apart they are. My late wife and I enjoyed this type of fellowship with our friends as well and love seeing it happen elsewhere. One day I would like to come visit your growing family.

As system change encourages population decentralization. Blessings on your journey - and remember, you are not in it alone!

I don't know that I could add anything that has not already been said in the comments. I just love watching you to joyful people go about your lives in front of the camera. Love from Arizona
LOL They will find that out after they get tired of building more and fence to keep them in. To stop this one from escaping we had to tie a rope around its neck, tied to a 2x4 so it was always stumbling, but he still would get out.
With my goats we tie something that looks like a sling shot frame, only the handle part is longer, to below their neck. It stops them from getting their head low enough to get under a fence. But keep trying.
@Eric Ferguson The consolation is that they can be hilarious, especially if you don’t have too many. If you treat them often especially giving them part of your lunch like when you are out repairing fences (not quite “Desparado” but you get the picture), they will follow you everywhere. When you head back to the barn the way they run is so funny. I drove around my property in a Kawasaki Mule and they were always wherever I was working. They got in the Mule at lunch break and would eat your whole lunch if you weren’t careful. At night had to make sure to put them up in the barn or the coyotes might get them.
I hope you realize the quality of your production skills are really taking off. Nice shoot, sound,video,edit...can't say enough about this...Building a community of trust is priceless.

Really enjoying the development of the property. The sight of all the people working together, and the kids playing was just so wonderful to see. With so much craziness in the world, it is so refreshing to see the evolution of this community.
It will be interesting to see how things play out as you build your community when some people are more or less ambitious than others. How will the expectations and responsibilities go. The plan sounds gr8 . . . but not necessarily new. Good luck.

Sign me up!! I think what you guys are doing is simply getting off the “cult” train of materialism and greed, getting back to living life abundantly not excessively❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
I am happy for you. Family, friends, community mean a lot. Many hands make light the work. Everyone works as a team. Always share what you have. You can never go wrong.
I freaking love what you guys are doing, Good luck to you and all of your friends. God i wish my my wife and I were still young, Please give Lolla and Roger a big pat. We love you!
South African here.
You guys are wonderfull. Been watching you from the beginning of this journey. Truly inspiring.
Friends in Australia had a goat farm, one of the favourite "playground" items the goats enjoyed was an old VW Beetle shell as an adventure playground. In and out and climbing all over it.
That's cute. Mine lay for shade and play on spools. Huge kind that cable comes on. I saw a chicken coop made of a vw van one-time in Kentucky I was just passing through a small town.
J&K should build a playground structure for the goats using scrap. Maybe duel purpose like holding feed or a storage bin for goat things.
It's a gorgeous TRIBE of like minded hard working people who are benefitiing from your beautiful generously! Proud to be a tribe member from afar!❤ love love you guys!❤❤❤❤❤
By far the most interesting "Vanlife /Living the Dream" You Tubers. I have been following since the very early days and I have to say your commentary, camera and editing skills are top shelf. There is a lot of power in giving it away to keep it. Keep on trudging!
So happy to see your face radiant and glowing when your friends came. So nice to have such helping friends around us
Thank you for sharing your excitement and progress. You both show that money is not what makes you rich.
Lola walking right next to the little boy is just the cutest 🤗. Yes, I love little communities like the one you’re creating! To have the support of others you fully trust, being able to share the work, raise the kids together, being able to go places and not worry about the animals left at home, your home itself being safe and cared for.........🥰
Great video guys, you have such wonderful friends because you're wonderful people 💖
Lovely family!!! I have the privilege of calling Careen and her family my friends. Mis them so much and so happy to see them living their dream with you guys. I will come and visit.... One day.....
Just wonderful, inspiring. And for us old folks what a blessing that would be to keep us from isolation. ❤️❤️
You are us in 1971. Drove down to Costa Rica from SF. Long story but, ya gotta know we're in our late 70's now, and we're CHEERING YOU ON!
We're so happy for you both :) I can't wait to try the coffee! Thanks for being you. E
Awwww... Jordan running around with the kid on the truck. Melted my heart...... 😊 my middle son is also named Jordan. Beautiful name. Love from England 💞
What you're creating is Amazing! Sending much love💞
I quit drinking at the beginning of quarantine, and you guys present such a positive happy lifestyle that I think I'm going to quit smoking the marijuanas and try to make my life the same. Thanks from Wisconsin!
Hola, from our home here in Ville Escondido in beautiful Boquete, Panama, another lovely morning. We can now understand why you love it so much. We are so impressed by what you guys have accomplished. We would love to meet you guys if that could be arranged, please let us know. Dan & Val
You guys are the most generous, kind people. I lived in the hippie days & believe me your not hippies. I don't why they would call you a cult none of us would be watching your videos your just so so kind & generous, I am sorry to say most people would not understand that kind of generous living. GOD BLESS YOU BIG
You all make a family. It’s a good life. 🌺
Wonderful community. Do not forget to have some time just for the two of you. You are not crazy! You are just finding ways to fill your lives with respectful living. So awesome.
Check out Justin Rhodes regarding rotating the land area that goats graze on and changing the area chickens scratch on to prepare areas for gardening and reducing parasite density.
Changing the world, one Lola’s Farm at a time! Love it.
This video makes me so excited for the documentary
Please clue me in, what documentary? I'm a fan of NM, but watch their videos sporadically.
@@hd-xc2lz they’re working on a documentary of their journey to Panama and so on as they go. I don’t think it’ll be ready within the next year tho... every now and then they mention new kit they kit for a documentary, just listen for anything along those lines👏🏻🙆🏼♂️
@@damianwadsworth7603 Thanks for the reply. Will it be something other than a re-edit of their available youtube video material? Are they working with a third party, or is it auto-bio?
@@damianwadsworth7603 They're both very driven to complete their project as originally laid out. I wonder if the prospect of the documentary, even if never made, helps to stiffen their spines toward completion of the project, taking no shortcuts? Very impressive how far they've come considering how little experience/know-how they had in building trades. And witnessing their humility and never-give-up attitude rewarded is what makes them a good watch.
@@hd-xc2lz well yeah I assume that’s what the documentary will be like but with more of a base line story to it. No I don’t think any third party’s are involved besides maybe go pro sponsoring them...
also I would think they’ll use some drone footage they’ve already used but definitely way more content then we see on UA-cam🙌🏻
After seeing the amazing people you are surrounding yourselves with, how can anyone see this as anything but amazing! I am so happy for all of you! Dream it and watch it come to you!
I AM 70 AND LONG TO GET OUT OF SOCIETY, BLESS U ALL, MAY THE SOURCE BE WITH U ALL , SMILE

I can't wait to get my van and travel and see the world. Just watching your videos makes me have faith in humanity and I know there are many people out there feeling the same way. You all are living your best life, and we enjoy living vicariously through yours. Love the animals!
FLA GAL I so agree with you! I also live in FL and I am building my van little by little. Watch Bob Wells, he is full of good ideas. I will eventually start a Caravan club on Meet Up. Maybe we will meet there.good luck to you.
Cracking up at the chaos going on behind Kaylee...the 2 doggies play wrestling!! I don't think you are crazy at all for what you are doing. It's a beautiful farming community of people working the land and taking care of their families. I hope for every negative comment/message you receive, that you receive 100 positive ones. You are a blessing and you will be blessed. He is pleased. Keep the communication lines open, set the expectations, and deal with the issues as they arise. Peace and blessings....
You can just feel the shift in energy in this video. Such a different feel from previous videos. Adding more humans makes a huge difference.
Kevin Tumlinson I always get that feel from their videos whether it's just the two of them and the lovely animals or the two of them with their crew. Adding more humans like today just thickens the consistency of the love already present on Lola's Farm.
What a beautiful and inspiring life you are building! I am a thwarted hippie myself, and I absolutely love it! Great that you want to have kids don’t sit in front of screens all day. Keep on doing what you’re doing! God bless you. ☮️✌🏼❤️💕
nothing wrong with communal life, I lived the same in Jamaica for 5 years was wonderful
I love you both. You're vibrating at such a high level. You're energy and productive output is wonderful to see. I'm glad you are able to see other cultures, walk away with the positive and apply it to your life. This is the spirit many immigrants take to the USA. I wait for every video with anticipation of nothing but good vibes. ♥️
Just look at what you've created guys! Incredible!
This is so cool! I almost cried when I saw all the people together. Your dream is becoming a reality! It is very amazing to get to watch it come to life!
That is really uplifting. Best wishes and good luck in your endeavors. You have some nice people there. Cute kids.
So amazing. So free. So rewarding. One suggestion - I think that you will need some verticals to keep them inside the fence.
Folks that criticize this just don't understand what pure simplicity is.....I would LOVE to be an addition to Lola's farm. You 2 are the BEST. love from Texas
This was beautifully filmed... so full of joy. I am out here approaching 80 remembering such moments of great joy and the close communities I have known in my life... You need some elders on your land... That would make it indeed perfect.
I agree. I’m in my 60s. 😊
You are visionaries who are manifesting a new way of relating to all life, everywhere. Don't let anyone turn you away from your dreams! HUMANITY and this beautiful planet needs you! Thank you!
Lola and Brian are so cute, I love how they play together.
Watching Lola play makes my heart happy! ❤🐾
Love the Lola’s Farm shirt Jordan! If you guys sell those I will gladly buy one!!
I think you, young men and women on your channel are the wisest I've encountered thus far. And I have lived 65 years. I would join you in a heartbeat if not for my more than 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren here in California. I watch everything you put up and I am never let down. You all are very entertaining. Rock On !!! :)
I love this! I don’t think your crazy! Lol As a mother this makes perfect sense to me. Id love to have something like this for myself here in the states. Great job guys! 😊
You guys will be such great parents. I cannot wait until we feel it is safe for us to travel and move into our place there in town. We so want to hug people again. God bless all of you.
What a wonderful way to start the day! ☺️
You guys are amazing and selfless, the land you own will always be protected and the fact that you give some to everyone who helps speaks volumes. True conservation 🙌🏽
I am so happy for you all. I am living my dream through you.
I am an alumnus of intentional community - good on you folks for what you are trying to do. We need more models like this because they will be needed more and more. As system change encourages population decentralization. One of my community experiences from the late 1960's in Southern Oregon is still operating over 50 years later and is documented in 3 books (and I'm in all of them). Blessings on your journey - and remember, you are not in it alone!
Best way to start a morning😊
Morning amigo :)
Wow. I’ve been watching for just a couple of months and it just seemed so hard- what you were doing. All the mud and the rain. And it all came together for me today watching this episode. You’ve built a community and I feel the joy you have in its creation. So happy for you.
Witches say: everything you give away comes back three fold. Good or bad. You all are a great example of the good. FRAMILY BUILDING at ITS FINEST!! viva sus familia!!
Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete with it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38
Amen!! God bless you!
In that case, how come everything I've ever lent to folk, they've never returned it! One person 'borrowed' my grass rake, just for a couple of hours.....12 years later, I'm still waiting for her to return it! 😂 (I moved to an apartment with no garden, but that ain't the point is it)? God knows how many books, records, clothes, tools etc, I've lost over the years. I don't lend anything to anyone any more! Love from England.😙
Blessed be, friend 💗
The joy I get from watching your life and the way you live so freely is just amazing. I always find myself smiling from ear to ear!
Offering sanctuary to the South African family is literally a life saving gesture of kindness. People around the world have no idea about the situation they come from.
Panama says 'You're welcome!'
@Lynn Roberts Sandra Westley why you people are such believers of such tosh just amazes me, especially if your from USA where 300,000 deaths, just what dream land do you live in.
@@robwestley7370 Yeah agreed. In one of our states we elected a new representative. He died of covid within one week. The poor man literally lasted one week in office. It's so grim these days in the US.
@@robwestley7370 My comment has nothing whatsoever to do with Covid deaths (inflated as they are). It does have everything to do with the torture and murder of countless South African farmers and their families.
Hi 🙋♀️ all. Lovely that everyone wants to help each and live a happy life. I am proud of you all; Lolas farm is increasing with the true meaning of loving 🥰 each other.💕🎄
Live your dream! Tell your friends back home, that your special Christmas Koolaid is in the mail. LOL! No expectations when you started, friends gravitate to like minded or comforting places...that's Lola's Farm. Rodrigo is doing his own thing, on land you gave him...I'm sure the others are as well. It's a Familial Community you've started. And Heck if I were 30 yrs younger, (knowing all I know now) I'd be right there too. Enjoy - and Bad Mom's Christmas was a funny Vid. ❤Be well, Babies ( and chocolate cake NEVER breaks any diet)
I don't know that I could add anything that has not already been said in the comments. I just love watching you to joyful people go about your lives in front of the camera. Love from Arizona
I love all the vids. I woke up to a buzz on my phone and tada... It was y'all. Sending love from me and the goddess chihuahua named Kali. Peace
I love what you guys are doing. To live in a true community where the people take care of each other is wonderful.
You know goats are escape artists, right? good luck!
@Eric Ferguson Right. Funny though, when I picked blackberries they ate the bush leaves not the berries and mine loved oak leaves too.
I hope you realize the quality of your production skills are really taking off. Nice shoot, sound,video,edit...can't say enough about this...Building a community of trust is priceless.
Love starting my mornings with you guys thanks for the amazing content
I'm not sure why? But.... This video made me cry... A beautiful, joyful cry. Thank you guys. You will be wonderful parents. I am sure of this. Much Love. M
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY JOY TO EVERONE AND ALL ANIMALS ON LOLAS FARM!!!!!
This, what you are doing, is a game changer. This is what our world needs. Community. Real community. Oh my goodness. Not everyone will get it. That's okay. Stay the course. We need people like you.
Aweeeeee I loveddddd this video!!! I really want to live like that one day and this brings me so much joy to watch it and just wow you guys are sooo amazing.
Only one problem with the video. It was WAY too short!!
I’ve been wanting to do this for over 10 years and my family thinks I’m absolutely insane. If you’ve never experienced it, you have no idea how amazing it is. There is nothing better than being surrounded by nature and all the people you hold dear. Making and building things with your own hands. There’s just nothing like it!!
VERY COOL!!!!!!!! Merry Christmas to all.
Today I got my first view of your future community....and I think I want this to happen as much as you do.....so nice to see. I'm 60yo and I've fallen in love with your channel....admittedly, at first I thought, naive kids fighting the world around them but slowly but surely, I've come to believe in your dream and ....weird, maybe but can't help feeling proud of your accomplishments...you kinda my social grandkids now.....wink.
Cult, schmult...whatever. This is living, love, and the love of living!
And...btw...I LOVE your coffee!
Haha well said - I’m going to have to try this coffee!
Good luck.
You guys are gonna make the greatest parents!! Toughest job that you will love with all your heart!!
Thank You for sharing the experience with us and the children👌 😊 Happy Holidays 🌲 to you all full of health and happiness.⛄🗽🇺🇸😇
I NOW can see your community coming together and can feel the love! A joy to watch! Gotta say, love your coffee. You’ve introduced me to something other than just the usual Starbucks.
