That was awesome Kent. Will be doing s'mores in the backyard with my young nephew and niece this Easter week. Love that you enjoyed this American campfire tradition.
So happy for you Andy been watching you videos since 500 subs and absolutely love them I hope one of these day you get to 500k subs you really deserve it for all the hard work you put into these videos just keep at it bro
Man, those s'mores looked pretty darn good, I like the circular shape as well, it makes a kind of sense. The only thing that I'm not too sure about is the name of those biscuits, "digestive biscuits", it brings to mind all kinds of foul bodily functions, not what I want to be thinking about when I'm stuffing my face with chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers. You should try it with chocolate graham crackers next time, if you guys have them over there, it's like a s'more to the 10th power.
For those who aren't survivalists or don't have a fire an unscented candle will work for marshmallows aswell has to be unscented though I tried earlier today so I know it works
Hi Andy. I am catching up on some of your older videos. Do you have Bailey's Irish Cream liqueur in the UK? Try dipping your melted, marshmallows in that, then make your S'more.
This awesome super phenomenal bushcaft channel and the video he’s makes are great way for people who want help things bushcraft activities and learning about outdoors and I am glad to this amazing man and experience exciting bushcraft channel and this super great bushcraft channel 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴
I'm doing the Two Moors Way in the Spring, possibly end of April, so depends when you are down mate. If it's around that time then I'll be resting and preparing or I'd of already done it and be completely knackered!
Hello andy ,just subbed to your channel and find it interesting and informative just going through all previous video's which I will enjoy keep up the good work and look forward to more video's in the future thanks for sharing ♠
First time I tried them was when I was visiting my Son who lives in Arizona they were yummy not that we were camping or even out side his wife made them in the kitchen using the microwave as the saying goes where's there's a will there's away lol nice video 👍👍👍
Looks yummy. Best we got was raisan toast or cinnamon toast in scouts when I was a kid lol. Those birdsnests...I dread the day it catches in your beard Andy...looks risky from some camera angels lol
Im thinking of doing cinnamon toast in the future actually :) .. as for the birds nest.. I know what you mean haha, I haven't smelt any burning yet.. may have to move to a bow drill :) haha Thanks for watching mate
I may have to try it with some of those biscuits I find that the graham cracker falls apart and breaks so easily not that it taste bad but just nice to try things in different ways. There is a few stores here that sell those here.
Doctor (sounds better when Sarah Jane says it, granted), are you telling us that by 2022 the bacon butty tree has gone extinct? Nooooo! Seriously though, I'm with Mr Kemp and will stick with the (as you so rightly put it) shrinking wagon wheel. However, you are continuing the fine tradition of enjoying camping with a fire. Keep up the good work. And remember: marshmallows are for life, especially on the waistline;)
Yeah it's really sad a guy that is deaf and can't hear nothing has ever sit by a campfire and made S'mores never heard of it or taste it never knew what it was 😭 I kinda feel bad for him I guess I'll have to make it in the oven and let him try it but he might get hooked on it
Thanks :)... I didn't know so searched and found this interesting tit-bit (or tid-bit depending where you are haha) "The digestive was first developed in 1839 by two Scottish doctors to aid digestion at a place called Logie Steading in Forres. The term "digestive" is derived from the belief that they had antacid properties due to the use of sodium bicarbonate when they were first developed."
Thanks, Andy, makes sense. We have a local grocery that carries a small selection of Brittish food items. I'll look and see if they have the digestive biscuits and give your s'more recipe a try for comparison. atb, Gordon
Not your greatest gastronomical delight, but its good to be different and branch out a bit. i wasn't aware they had a name, iv'e seen it done by using chocolate covered digestives, bit easier than using chocolate chunks. catch you on the next one, and good luck filming that badger. Gary
Thinking about it they're just a fancy wagon wheel,... Could totally make one with jam in the middle! 😀
That took me right back to my childhood. Good video.
thanks.. think you'll be seeing more of these :)

I may have to try it with some of those biscuits I find that the graham cracker falls apart and breaks so easily not that it taste bad but just nice to try things in different ways. There is a few stores here that sell those here.

He saved that bunch of hay like Napoleon did those tots

haha, I was actually at the bacon butty tree today.. so were safe for now ;) cheers for watching as always
Just curious, why is green wood preferred over other wood to cook a marshmallow?
Great logo/graphic in your intro by the way.
Thank you, Its based on the Invita horse symbol for Kent Country :)
I have got to try this, they looked naughty haha. Good times :)

Yeah it's really sad a guy that is deaf and can't hear nothing has ever sit by a campfire and made S'mores never heard of it or taste it never knew what it was 😭 I kinda feel bad for him I guess I'll have to make it in the oven and let him try it but he might get hooked on it
Nice Andy, been watching a few of your videos, mate. Honest question, why are those biscuits named 'digestive'? I subbed your channel.
Thanks :)... I didn't know so searched and found this interesting tit-bit (or tid-bit depending where you are haha) "The digestive was first developed in 1839 by two Scottish doctors to aid digestion at a place called Logie Steading in Forres. Im stealing this idea video, and Im gonna blame you for making me fatter ha ha. Tasty looking snack
haha do it mate! they are worth it, lok forward to seeing your take on it
S'moresrific 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you :)
Needs Jaffa cake
You REALLY NEED to just special order GRAHAM CRACKERS as Digestives are way too thick and not sweet enough.
Or buy wagon wheels.
I hadn't even thought about that.. same components haha... though they do keep shrinking ;) cheers for watching
One question why is this named Kent survival of your name is Andy??
Kent is the county I live in and generally camp in. Kent isn't really used much as a name over here (that I am aware of anyway)
Not your greatest gastronomical delight, but its good to be different and branch out a bit.
i wasn't aware they had a name, iv'e seen it done by using chocolate covered digestives, bit easier than using chocolate chunks.
catch you on the next one, and good luck filming that badger.
Gary
tasty though ;) haha, thanks mate
Ew at digestives
