F150 POV install complete

This is the final video. My F150 is 100% complete now. Electronic and mechanical sirens. This is a real Q hooked up to my foot switch and with a 150 amp breaker.Nforce and Soundoff perimeter lighting, code 3 siren controller, code 3 Interior light bar, intersectors and a WOLO chief stuttertone. 14 gallon air tank (8+6) with a viair compressor. Did you replace stock alternator with high amp alternator to withstand the amp that Q draws?

jarrett ferris I did not. I use a three battery setup. I wired in my Q to the spare batteries. When I step on the foot switch the two battery banks disconnect and it puts no strain on my alternator. Then after the foot switch is released it reconnects and charges the battery back until I hit the switch again and it momentarily disconnects to keep the load off my alternator. It electrically separates the siren from the alternator temporarily for 10 seconds. It works much better this way. I also have my lights wired up to it. So on scene I can leave my lights on with my truck off. It will never kill my starting battery because they are separated.
