Thanks for the wonderful tour, Jason. I am a bit envious of your ability to discover territory in your plane. Your video production quality is very impressive. Well done, sir!
What an awesome place... That dog of Dooley’s... Rusty dog!!! The dog that has more hours in a carbon cub then most carbon cub owners... great video!!!
This was GREAT, Jason! I've forgotten how much I miss that area. I left Phoenix on New Years day, 2001. Should've stayed, but the pull of friends and family is pretty strong. I miss everything about that place - the perpetually blue skies, dry, HOT air, lack of winters, wide open tracts of untouched land, reasonable cost of living ... about 180° polar opposite of the Northeast. That little canyon you all walked through was amazing! I got to explore AZ on the street bike, and off-roaded in the valley a bit in my buddy's Toyota pickup, but there were many areas I never got to see in my 2 years living there. Thankful to have been there, though. Wish I had been into aviation then! At the time, I could barely afford to drive, let alone fly, lol. Beautiful shots of the area. Thanks for sharing!
What a great video! It was great to see you with Pops, he’s the reason I got interested in STOL, sure wish he would make some more videos with his own music.
1:58, epic, and synced with the music perfect! That slot canyon would have been a great ride on the Montague ebike I carry in my RANS S-7S. No slot canyons yet but I've spotted 3 different caves from the air and have found a place to land and check them out, lots of old mines in Idaho also, many unknown, still.
All looks GREAT Jason! Which cameras did you shoot this with and was it all in 4K or a mix of 1080p? Looks like you all had a great adventure here. Are you coming to Sun-N-Fun this year???
Hey Jason you guys s got me looking at carbon cubs just wondering the differences between the SS and the FX3 545 difference in gross weight and 90 lightweight if I put on 20 in tundra tires which is better for the type of flying you guys do if there are crosswinds to factor into a landing spot

I’m 3 minutes in. I love aviation, but I’d watch this one just for the music.
Enjoyed the canyon hike. Great shots.
Slot Canyons are wild!

Jason, was that Kirk in there? If I go light I think it will work. How far from fuel?
Yes, that was Kirk... Wayside has car gas, havasu is not far..
Is that Alamo Lake in the background?
Yep
3:19 Seems like too much talus for that short mountain
