I just saw this video, and I think it’s great, the is actually my wallet, with 2 differences (1 less cash slot & no outside slot) both are no biggy, if there is a way for me to buy this, think I would! It’s a great fit for me!
thank you for commenting on our video, replying to your comment, it would be egocentric to say that I am better than others hehe, obviously there are creators superior to me and I am infinitely grateful that they make videos and show the world their work and be able to learn from them, my applause is Sincerely, I hope you can also show your work to other colleagues who start in the leather goods like me, and we can learn from you, every day you learn something new, best regards. ✌🏼
I am infinitely grateful for your comment, it is great that you find inspiration in me, just like I found it in some of my favorite creators, my works are influenced by all of them, I hope one day to see one of your videos creating great things and you can inspire others , best regards bro! 🙏
what size is the edge creaser you used? i want to buy one to improve my pockets, but i am not sure what size works best. and i do not want to waste money on a tool i can not use. great video, thank you for including the free template. for a guy just starting out, that is a huge help.
Hello brother, thank you for watching our video, I hope they help you learn something, the edge creaser is 1.5mm, it has really worked well for me and it is very cheap, I got it on Amazon for 12 bucks, you can find more expensive ones, but it would be a waste of money , I hope to answer your question, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me, greetings ✌🏼
@@Oldcoyoteleathergoods thank you. I really appreciate it. I was wondering cause i bought a 2mm and didn't know if it would work or if it would be too big for wallet interiors
If you are dealing with Tandy Leather, I strongly recommend having a look at the Japanese pricking irons. Not the M series ones, just the "basic" ones. They are MUCH nicer to use!!!
Mike first of all thanks for your comment! 🙏 replying to your comment, look at the japanese prick irons in the store, they have a showcase with different new tools, with an elegant touch, but after watching some videos and some reviews in different media they don't speak very well of them, I think that for the price there are many good brands with good reviews, I'll have to try it next time go to a tandy store. best regards! 🙌🏼
If you look at my first seams you will see that it was not easy hehe, to be honest I like this hobby so much that I practice it daily, I look for videos of other people who are masters in this and I try to implement each technique. the key is in practice, practice, practice, I hope to see your work on this platform soon 🙌🏼 best regards.
shawna first of all thanks for your comment 🙏 yes I also like the contrasts in the leather, now I work on a video where there are two color tones I think they look great! I hope to upload it tomorrow. About your question, I still don't sell, for now I practice and try to perfect my work, I hope to be able to do it in the future, later I will be giveaway some works that I have done in my videos among my followers on my Instagram page, I hope to see you there soon and be able to give you one of them, blessings, shawna first of all thanks for your comment 🙏 yes I also like the contrasts in the skins, now I work on a video where there are two color tones I think they look great! Not got to that point yet but generally if its polyester you melt it, if its linen you glue. Nothing to do with being more secure as both methods are just tidying up the loose thread. Hope that helps.
DS thanks for answering donald's question, I'm sure I will answer it, my point of view, both seams have a chance to come off, I prefer the hemp thread and I prefer to hide the stitch with glue than to burn it, I think it looks better "professional" (that's my opinion) I hope I have answered your question, best regards to both of you.
@@Oldcoyoteleathergoods I must agree that tucking and gluing does look neater, I always (where possible) try to finish my stitching to come out between two layers of leather after back stitching. As you say it all comes down to personal preference, as does a lot in this craft (burnishing is a whole debate to itself 😅). I actually noticed that Donald had asked this question twice and you had responded on his other comment! Anyway I will definitely keep checking out your videos. All the best. 👍 One further point, I love your company name and logo!
@@DS-um9hi if I have seen some colleagues who take the stitch in the middle of the two layers, the detail is that I have the habit of burning the edges first because I always use white, beige thread and I do not like to touch it a lot and leave some stains on the thread and throw the finished product in the trash because of some stain on the thread, about the logo I wanted to put something commemorative to my state of Arizona, where I lived is open ranch and it is common to see 🐗, raccoons, etc. and always at night a coyote comes outside the fence with my dogs and I decided to use it for my logo, one day I will take a video of it before it slips away and I will put it in a video, thanks for watching my videos 🙏 my best wishes to you brother, greetings ✌🏼
Thanks brother, did you try the last link in the description? You can also visit the make supply page and there you can find it for free, do not hesitate to leave any questions in the comments, greetings ✌🏼
I use veg taned leather in both, I buy both in tandy leather, the blue one is natural and I paint it myself with fiebings pro dye navy blue, the interior leather is that color, you can also find it in tandy leather like a MONTANA VEG-TAN SIDES, both leather 3-4 oz, the white liquid in the dropper is tokonole, also in the marker only that it is reduced 50/50 with water, I appreciate your comment and see your doubts resolved, I will try to put the links in my description so you can find the products.
please put a new battery in your smoke detector. that little *beeP* is kind of annoying through out the video. lol. how can you not hear that in person???
hehehe first of all thanks for comment, if it was a crazy week, I changed the batteries and it lasted a couple of days in silence and started again, I decided to change them for new ones, I invite you to watch the new videos where there is no longer beep 😂 best regards! ✌🏼
thanks for commenting on my video brother, regarding your comment, honestly I don't like burning the ends of the thread, I think it doesn't look professional, (personally.) I have seen some videos that burn it, others that hide it like me with glue, I prefer to hide it, my thread is not synthetic, it is hemp thread, the glue I use is water-based and rubber is very very resistant I don't think those threads will come out, at least in about 10 years hehe. I hope to see your doubt resolved bro! best regards. ✌🏼

I can't download the Pattern because it gives me an error from the makesuply website, could you send it to me by e-mail? please
Just want on the website makesupply and you can find different patterns.
Don't you have a hammer? 😱😱😱
thank you for watching and commenting on our video, I don't like using a hammer, I use the wooden handle of one of my tools.
