Abbie you were the sweetest/cutest little red riding hood I've ever seen! What a great way to use her device for Trick or Treating! She was so proud of herself when she pushed the screen by herself and took candy by herself. She has developed so many skills and has so much confidence now. I'm sure thanks to having supportive parents and brother plus a great education center she attends now. I can't even imagine where she is going to be in 10 years with the amount of progress she has shown even in the past 6 months! You must be so proud of her, she is growing into a beautiful young woman with a beautiful genuine personality. I am so thankful for the members of my community with disabilities, they tend to be the greatest and most memorable people I meet! My uncle who just turned 61 last Tuesday has severe Down Syndrome, I just have to look at him and he puts a smile on my face, mostly because he is always smiling or laughing. He has started suffering symptoms of Alzheimer's this year. It has been extremely tough for me because I love him so much I hate to see him struggle or being confused at all. My reason for mentioning him is this: From watching your channel I have learnt about all different types of sensory activities. Since his Alzheimer's disease has became more prevalent he has focused more on touch and been more affected by textures, lighting, you name it! I've started making him sensory toys to help him calm down when he is having a hard time. I don't think I would have thought of half the things I have done for him if it wasn't for ideas I gathered from your channel. Thanks to all of you for this!
