Hello lovely 😍 thank you sooooooooo much for doing a video like this. You have no idea how helpful this is. Because you are absolutely right, there are no videos that show how to use these big eye shadow brushes. You are the only video I was able to find. I've been wanting to purchase the chikuhodo z5 for quite some time. I just haven't pulled the trigger yet lol. I am more about base makeup and love small face brushes. But I'm not very good at eyeshadow so I love big eye brushes like the z5 so I can just do a "one and done look". Usually just sweep a little bronzer or cream shadow on my lid and call it good. Thank you so much for this. I just adore you and your personality and all your knowledge on these wonderful brushes. I also love your makeup. Would you PLEEEEEEASE do a video while using and doing your favorite full face of makeup products and using your favorite brushes to apply the products please? That would be such a fun video. I have seen you use a cinema secrets cream foundation palette, I would love to see you use that 😊 I hope you had a wonderful new year, and sending so much love your way ❤
I agree that base makeup is key! For eyes, I have a really weird preference. most people like medium sized brushes. Me? I like a HUGE brush for a wash, paired with a detail/small brush for a little bit of work on the outer corner and inner corner (I noticed this trend when I am picking brushes to demo in my videos and have to mentally slap myself to stop reaching automatically for big+small and pick more variety) Happy lunar new year! I'll see you with my fav makeup next year ;)
I love large eye brushes too. I primarily use them for laying down and blending with just one step. Z-5 is my current fav. You mentioned that some Chinese brush companies are good. Are there any Chinese brands or lines within brands that you can recommend that don’t make straight up dupes of Japanese brushes ?
Glad to hear the z-5 is working well for you! I haven't bought any Chinese brushes in 4 years or more but I was fond of shou shou lang. They had unique brushes are good quality and reasonable prices
Fantastic video like all of your video, I have large brushes and I use them in the same way and for may parts of my face. Thank you so much for helping with this video it was great!
Hi, Yelena! How would you say eihodo s-1 compares to houkodou g-s1? I’m trying to decide if I want one of those or surrat large eyeshadow brush. I’ve heard fude kyun say she thinks surratt bristles are coarser than houkodou but surratt blends better, she also thinks houkodou hairs feels extra sleek like it has a lot of conditioner that doesn’t get washed out, but she’s never mentioned eihodo, so I don’t think she has that one 😬😬
I personally like houkodou because it is the fluffiest. I agree that surratt has the most texture. Eihodo is the most compact and flat in shape., best for lay down but for blending houkodou is the best in my book. Eihodo and houkodou hair feel very comparable. So it comes down to shape. Houkodou has more bloom at the tip than surratt and I do like that. If you are on instagram I'll post a video of the three for you
I consider it the spiritual successor to my Sue devitt eye base brush which I use for finishing edge blend of eye shadow and under eye + nose concealer. It's no as soft as fine goat but it's very soft for horse
My view on brushes has totally changed Thanks to you! Group III I’m obsessed! lol 😆
I love how dedicated and passionate you are . I actually learned so much from your videos . Thank you 🙏❤️
I really like this series. You’ve directly influenced me to get more large shader brushes recently
You are one of the brush experts I have seen, you should produce your brush collection 👍🏻 🙌🙌
I love big eyeshadow brushes! I have recently received the Z5 and I really enjoy it for a quick eyelook 😊

Love your videos!!!!
The videos I did not know that I needed. Already tried two things I learned from one of you earlier videos. Love it :D
Thank you for a great instructional video. Much appreciated. I also appreciate the end commentary. In agreement with you!
Interesting! I usually don't use large eye shadow brushes, but looks like I can give them a try! Thank you for the tutorial!
This is perfect I wasn't sure how to use the Sonia G worker 2 and jumbo blender.
hope you get lots more mileage out of them now!
Thanks, great video! Very helpful. Thank you.

@@Jaybirdwalking thank you! Yes, I have an account exactly to watch what others put up, so I’ll be spying on that post then 😁😁👏👏
Is the J127 a must have?
