Downhill domination is still one of my all-time favorite games. This is the closest I have seen to a game like it since. Why don't developers just make a simple point A to point B race anymore like the old days they were the best.

That's like down hill from Flagstaff to Sedona Arizona. I just drove downhill there. It's exactly like those two biomes and they totally shift within 5 minutes, it's cuz of the steep elevation. It's wild
So far this game has been mostly annoyances instead of adrenaline, back track once during a race and you're in last position, miss a checkpoint and be forced to back track, back track accidentally and loose all your boost etc...

You'll be disappointed. As a Steep adept, I can tell you the gameplay of RR is nothing comparable. I was not feeling totally free of my moves during this beta test. (I played as a trickster with everything in manual)
