I disagree, i think a realistic "Skate" style approach makes for a much better game. It adds more replay value. Any game that holds your hand the whole way isn't fun..

In Tony Haws's pro skater on the PS1 you would fall 30 times during this course, because you need to learn how to play and how to land properly on the skate. Im not even sure you can fall off the bike in this game, you just ride and jump - that's about it :)

Downhill domination is still one of my all-time favorite games. This is the closest I have seen to a game like it since. Why don't developers just make a simple point A to point B race anymore like the old days they were the best.

Ubisoft cannot get out of its way always afraid to always go crazy with their “extreme sports” ideas.
Thought of Downhill Domination instantly; it just need a little bit more attitude to fully embody DD and those power-ups. The tracks in DD were super insane which I loved!!!

I remember the old "Nail'd" for PS3, that game was pure adrenaline!
had it on PC . was the tits!
So far this game has been mostly annoyances instead of adrenaline, back track once during a race and you're in last position, miss a checkpoint and be forced to back track, back track accidentally and loose all your boost etc...

You'll be disappointed. As a Steep adept, I can tell you the gameplay of RR is nothing comparable. I was not feeling totally free of my moves during this beta test. (I played as a trickster with everything in manual)

That's like down hill from Flagstaff to Sedona Arizona. I just drove downhill there. It's exactly like those two biomes and they totally shift within 5 minutes, it's cuz of the steep elevation. It's wild

@@DBTHEPLUG oh, the rewind is only available in single? I was pretty sure to have seen it in mass race... And my hope was that it was here only at the beginning of the game, and gradually removed as you access harder "levels" / areas / or however they split it.

Runs higher resolution on Xbox and with Dolby vision and VRR. But that's with 98 procent of all games so no surprise
