Personally I prefer no shapewear. I don't try on my clothes with shapewear. I admittedly barely even wear shapewear.
Okay so, I've only ever worn clothes that hide my body (due to being a bigger girl) but after finding your videos and seeing how confident and happy you come across, I decided tonight to get rid of some clothes that I've had and worn for years, that i always used to hide my shape. I've just bought myself some new clothes from boohoo and even some dress (which I never wear due to cellulite on my legs and having a larger stomach). Thank you for showing it's ok to be happy in your own body!!! You're such an amazing inspiration for us curvier gals. Loads of love x

@@TheEllieJoeAs soon as I get home my bra becomes 10x more uncomfortable! Bra and undies come off and pajamas go straight on as soon as I walk in my room! No way can I relax on the couch or in my bed with my bra on, and especially not jeans/pants with a thong on!

I agree with not trying on clothes with shapewear BUT would love a review of different shapewear which shows a couple outfits with and without so we can see if there's a real difference
I've done a few shape wear videos on my channel. I think the last one was last summer. I really don't switch it up too much... once I find what I like I stick with it

If I can’t get away with wearing nothing or even just a smoother I’m not wearing it. I don’t want to be fully sucked and tucked all night. I want to be comfortable. The heels are bad enough. I saw an XXL in there once. It was the equivalent of like an AE medium -eye roll-
On a side note, AdditionElle got a new president or whatever and they're completing rebranding and apparently going to become like the Zara of plus size so fingers crossed for that.
oh that would be cool. I really like City Chic as a more sophisticated but trendy plus brand.

I actually appreciate the fact that you don’t wear shape wear. Most people do t like to be confined and it gives the viewers a better sense of what they clothes are like with nothing underneath in case that’s how you like to wear it. You look beautiful bye!

I definitely prefer no shape wear..I’m not sporting spanx on the daily and I really don’t know many people that do!! I can’t with Zara. Too much money for not enough quality. I’m not about the spanx life. I end up looking like a flat assed sausage coming out of its casing.

I wear a high waisted shapewear brief every day, when outsiders home.
They are not a style that are “torture devices”, yet they a very supportive style. I often wear a spandex cami/tank also (depending on the weather and the outfit (jeans and dresses...).
I have chronic back pain (post “failed spinal fusion) and shapewear gives me some back support as well as keeping my belly “hidden”/waist smoother and honestly makes me feel more confident about myself.
I do appreciate you doing your videos without shapewear to see how the clothes truly fit. Thank you Sarah!!

I love so much that you don't normally do these hauls with shapewear!!! You are such a fashion inspiration for me (6' size 18, normally jeans and a t-shirt), and seeing the confidence that you radiate has really inspired me to go forth and broaden my wardrobe! I‘m from Germany and we have Zara in almost every city.
Unfortunately they only have clothes up to an Large most of the times. Only a few pieces are in XL.

I really like it when you don't wear spanx! I don't own any (because my last pair ripped after two uses and they're too expensive for me to get new ones) so I like knowing how clothes look without shapewear. You're totally right about it giving us a more honest view of the products.

I'm an xs in clothes and I always find the workers at Zara to be not particularly helpful/friendly! So I don't think its just you :D I also find that their clothes fit SOOOO small!
European sizes are average, US ones are too big lol different market I guess

13:30 I got those same jeans at forever 21! Super comfortable, stretchy, with FULL pockets. Like these pockets fit my whole hand and my iPhone 7 Plus. Highly recommend them. Especially for how inexpensive they are.

A tip for when you can't quite reach the zipper to finish zipping it: use a clothes hanger to hook the hole in the zipper and pull it the rest of the way up, or until you can reach it over your shoulder properly. This trick has saved me many of times.

Love that you don’t wear shape wear with everything! It’s helpful to see how it looks without it, we can all see the smooth/ no curve lines on their websites!
I think trying it without shapewear will determine. How the cut will look on your body and whether it's comfortable in general with your body. It's a more realistic view. Then you can try it with shapewear afterwards if you decide too.

It really depends on what you find! I am plus-size and my wardrobe is full of Zara, from jackets to sweaters, skirts, dresses - you really have to think about fabrics and shapes of clothing when purchasing but like you said - it is a vain brand, and not really an inclusive one. The XXL sizing only came just the beginning of last year if I'm not mistaken. I was completely in awe when I saw that. I think their sizing and fits are changing - even though it is a tough search sometimes definitely worth it for those cute pieces!

So had never heard of Zara until I studied abroad in Spain and it was everywhere there. I noticed they don’t have plus size anything over there and I wore the largest size in every store. This was back in 2014, but still. There are actually not a lot of plus size people in Spain. They stay active and people walk everywhere there.

I like that you are comfortable enough to not wear spanx. It really shows how things fit as is. I’m not actually plus size (I’m smaller, but still rolly 😂) but I still love to watch your videos. When you do these will it fit videos, those things come in straight sizes so I can get them in my size and I know if it’s going to show all my creases.

I use to work at Zara and I can say it was the worst job ever nobody wants to do anything everyone always tries to hide in the fitting rooms n the bathroom n everyone always has an attitude n I’m even talkin bout management I use to find my manager hiding in the bathroom talkin on the phone or in the break room just watching tv smh, after I quit I nvr went to any Zara store again they dnt deserve ppl spending their money on their items🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ anyways love these vids they are my favorite I always get hyped wen I see you posted something new🖤🖤

We got Zara here in Australia a few years ago but as I was 125kg I never even looked at their stock. But now at nearly 80kg (14 months after gastric bypass surgery) I might fit into some things.
And as I am having a tummy tuck in 4-6 months, I'll have to take a look after recovering from that. Especially as I can now fit into size 16-18 Australian (14-16 USA).
And I now love to show my curves and will love to even more after this surgery.
I'd love to see online or shopfront stores that stock retro/vintage style clothing.

Yes they do sell XXL in store but not every item they produce go up to the XXL, you really have to search but they exist!

I'm an 18 and I have never worn shapewear only because I'm solid. I plan on getting some though because after baby number 2 I need the extra support especially for my posture.
Actually , Zara does have a plus size line. I’m from Spain and in stores there is a plus size section.
Here in Spain (Zara is a spanish brand like Sarah already said) Zara clothing is cheaper than in other countries, but I just don't like the little size inclusivity they offer and frankly I heavily dislike their clothing and the cheap material a lot of their products are made of🤷🏼♀️ but thank you for making this video!!
