Great video. Glad you don't tie to the frame. Too many possibilities for the straps to break/come loose that way. I have a 20' dove tail. I use Mac's Custom wheel nets. They cover the top of the tire and wrap around the sides and still allow the suspension to move. I also added E-Track from front to rear. I had to buy race ramps to alter the angle of the ramp to get the car on without bottoming out.

I’ve seen some cars have axle come out of the diff by doing this. Go to the frame whenever possible

Yea that extra “yep, that’s not going anywhere” gives the tie downs that last bit of tension needed 😂

Aren't you supposed to say "that's not going anywhere" after you make the last tightening attempt?

Can you use normal 3,333 pound straps with a traditional hook like youd use for a heavy cargo load or should you only use straps that's have the closing hook when using the axle strap loops?

It looks like your strap will put pressure on or rub on your brake line which could eventually lead to a leak in those lines!

That cars falling off the trailer. Didn’t even bother to say “That’s not going anywhere.”

Those ratchets sure could use some oil

They were replaced by some new MAC straps after this video. Always had better success with those.

All these "proper" videos and every one of them crossing straps 🙈
If one straps breaks, the other strap is now pulling the load off the trailer.
    Stop crossing straps!

    What size is your trailer?
