- Today on Real Reviews we are coming back with a 3 month update on the Partybox Ultimate. We will be letting you in on some of the things that we have experienced as far as updating the speaker and how we feel about it after having it for some time. There was a strange issue out of the box that we go over related to the light ring on the top of the speaker. We also noticed that with WIFI enabled the speaker was able to do things on its own. Spooky, just in time for Halloween.
If you get one you will not regret it. Unless you try to pick it up solo. So don't do that.

Has anyone noticed after the update a couple months ago that the bass is now limited. Bass is not as heavy as before the update.

Bro tough thought look I reckon the ultimate ur legit getting the king of speakers and a better light show and better sound ye 2 710s will be cool and probably get louder but the ultimate is gonna sound way cooler for sure cause of its new speaker design
2 710s will be cool my friend own 2 710s and they were cool he did bring them out along but the ultimate my other friend has and he only has one and ye 710 might get louder if u have 2 but I was enjoying the sound and the eq u can do on the ultimate I think it's because of the new speaker set up it just sounds great. I'm going to by the ultimate for myself

I have a connectivity problem.
If the speaker is connected to my phone and now i want to connect it to my tablet, am unable(noting that it is not connected to my phone and my phone bleutooth is off) am able only to connect it to just my phone no matter what.
@@gilbertfarah7110 If you press the bluetooth button on the speaker it should start flashing and go into pairing mode. Then you should be able to connect it to your tablet.
@Real_Reviews i have more than 5 jbl speakers including 2 710s 320 stage boombox 3 and xtreme.. i knw how to pair devices:/ but am really facing difficulties with the one with me.. i don't know if it's only me or others too..:/
Quick update, i was always connecting my speaker via bleutooth.. and checked the update via app.. today i connect the ultimate directly to wifi, a couple of updates were done and now the problem is solved 😍😍😍😍
Everyone is talking about the comparison of Party Box Ultimate compared to its previous generation, Party Box 1000, there are many videos
But I don't know why no one has compared the Sony Tower 10 with its predecessor, the v90dw
@Kingroyalft I try to do the newer ones since it's tough to get the previous generation in new or good condition most of the time. So even if I did find one for the review, no one would be able to buy it even if it was good.
Is it Worth getting.
@@nickbenton3253 I may be overkill for just listening to music unless you really want it loud. Then Partybox 320 would most likely do it for much less.
@Real_Reviews I have the 320 and I love it but I kinda want to have Louder. Or just more bass
@nickbenton3253 if you are looking for bass then you found it in the Partybox Ultimate. It is insane bass and deep bass too.

The jbl ultimate is cool as but how strong is the bass and how loud my 2 310s are loud and have a lot of bass but this is the ultimate my both 310 togheter are 480watts I couldn't imagine how much louder this one is at 1100 Watts.
But is it worth getting
It is 100% worth getting and has plenty of bass. Will be much more than 2 x 310s even though those are loud. This thing is just nuts. I would not pay $1700 and even the $1299 I paid was pricey but I definitely enjoy this Partybox Ultimate.

Another option you can do if you want more bass is use the line out on your 310s or split an rca line to a sub. I have a sub that hits as low as 8-14hz 😂 can’t hear or feel that with an ultimate or a 310.
@michaelmaaba5463 That is very true, and I guess most subs have built in crossovers to cut out higher frequencies.
@@Real_Reviewsdon’t get me wrong the party box series is excellent. I have a 320 myself but there’s pros and cons. These are meant for an all in one simplistic way to listen music that is portable. You want more bass with any system whether it’s home theater, PA/DJ , hobby it’s always Best to add a subwoofer. They do have wireless options for subs and also battery.
I wonder if this is why they dropped the price so much,!?
@traknologist Just prob across the board to move some old inventory. Maybe they have a part 2 on the way. I hope so.

Yes, being able to lay on its side would be great. The last update also changed the EQ to mute it a bit, according to a viewer. The lower price and bad update both good signs a new one is on the way.

Just listening to you sounds to me you were impatient and switch off during a firmware update which is a big no no. You could brick it like that.
@grasshopper6664 Yes, I probably came close. The problem is that I was not trying to update, nor was I using the app. I was just listening to a song, and it just started updating with no warning and all on its own. If it would have bricked, that would have been on JBL.
I have 2 jbl 310s jbl boombox og xtreme 2 charge 4 pulse 3 jbl flip 4 I got 3 of those and I also got 2 jbl go
Is it worth me getting the jbl ultimate how much louder is it from my 2 jbl 310
Wow, you certainly have the collection dont you? The Ultimate would surely top off your lineup. You can get one on Amazon and return if you don't like it. But just be aware if you get one you will want to keep it. It will be much louder than 2 310s and has full separates too, making it sound good. If you happen to get one please come back and let us know if you think it beats the 2 x 310s.
