To be honest, I'd love to camp year round in this temperature, just warm enough to not need a hat or gloves.

The food looked like something I'd feed my dog. Everything else seemed to work pretty well.
I didn't expect there to be so much useful stuff in a dollar store.
That canned turkey was definitely worse than I expected.
Oh yeah, their seasonal stuff isn't half bad. The only con is that there's almost nothing left that's actually priced at a dollar. Some of these items were up to $4.50!

Oh yeah! Most items are between $1-5 dollars nowadays. I stopped at a Dollar General in Vermont and it felt more like a small grocery store to me.

Was wondering, which Dollar store did you shop at? The tarp is not the one sold at "Dollar Tree". I thought the challenge was to spend only $10.
Mostly Dollarama in Quebec. I did a separate video about the gear to avoid this one from being too long, if you're interested.
The whole dollar store challenge seems to be $20 nowadays with inflation and all. I decided that since it was winter, I wasn't concerned about the budget part of it. Maybe if I redo it, I'll set a dollar or item limit.
