Brian from 4 Season Pursuits directed me your way, but I can see from the comments below that we have a ton of mutual friends. Loved this outing! You're a brave man for doing this in winter! I want to try it someday, but maybe in Spring. Not warm - but you didn't freeze to death. That's a win when you're camping Survival Style with Dollar Store gear. Thanks for the video! Enjoyed and subscribed.
Haha, thanks bud! My answer will always be the same, I'll take this over mosquitos any day of the week. To be honest, I'd love to camp year round in this temperature, just warm enough to not need a hat or gloves.
The food looked like something I'd feed my dog. Everything else seemed to work pretty well. I didn't expect there to be so much useful stuff in a dollar store.
That canned turkey was definitely worse than I expected. Oh yeah, their seasonal stuff isn't half bad. The only con is that there's almost nothing left that's actually priced at a dollar. Some of these items were up to $4.50!
Mostly Dollarama in Quebec. I did a separate video about the gear to avoid this one from being too long, if you're interested. The whole dollar store challenge seems to be $20 nowadays with inflation and all. I decided that since it was winter, I wasn't concerned about the budget part of it. Maybe if I redo it, I'll set a dollar or item limit. Thanks for watching!
Appreciate that! I'm not the best at a lot of things, but I think I'm fairly decent at making the best of some situations! 😁 That multitool is definitely going to make me appreciate my Agawa or Silky so much more!
this deserves so much recognition
I appreciate that!
Love the video! Waited all day at work for this to come out, and wasnt disappointed
Appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Quite the night! Congrats on making it through😁
Thanks! I won't hide the fact that I waited for the ideal day to do this 😁
@@CampfiresandColdBeers no need to do it during stupid conditions 😁

Thanks! That's awesome, I'm due to catch up on a few of his videos. Hopefully I'll pick up a few perch fishing tips!
I know for a fact that lemon pepper seasoning was far too much 😂😂😂
You killed me with that one 😅😅
I added more to the turkey off camera 😅
What I learned from this video is never buy Dollar Store turkey.
Haha, I'll have to try the chicken next
Looks like dog food along with the bowl. At least they matched up😂. Enjoyed the show and effort
I even said that at one point but left it out of the video. Questioned if they labeled the can wrong 😅
😂
again, you are nuts to be camping like that in the snow but still awesome.

Great video. Amazing what you can achieve, with the most basic of basics. Thanks again for more great content.
Thanks again for watching!
Great video.

Cheers! Great video!
Thanks, cheers!
New sub here, keep it coming..and that can of turkey looks like a cat food.
Thanks! Probably the worst meal on this channel so far haha
Very unique video
Thanks for watching!
Nice to see you challenge yourself but not my cup of tea (coffee) lol..keep the videos coming I enjoy them on Sunday evening 👍
Haha, I hear you! I'm due for a camp where I bring all the "luxuries". Thanks for watching bud!
Well .... interesting , thank you for doing this and convincing me to never do something like that . 😂😁😆
🤣 oh yeah I'm making sure to be comfy next camp. Thanks for watching bud!
Can you get .50 cal rifle at the dollar store for Big Foot and Aliens out in the woods?
Nope! Fortunately, not much to worry about in these woods 😁
I loved every minute of this. Lol. Great effort with the food.😅I’m sure the cranberry reduction would have made all the difference.😉
You know I didn't want to deal with a sticky bowl at the time. Kind of regret not trying it out now though.
Thanks for watching!
Luv your videos 👌🔥🤘❤️🍻💯
Thanks bud!
Love it… also Canadian dollar stores are way way different then American and more $$$❤
Oh yeah! Most items are between $1-5 dollars nowadays. I stopped at a Dollar General in Vermont and it felt more like a small grocery store to me.
That’s awesome! New here to your channel its refreshing to see Canadian content!
Appreciate it! 😁
Geezzzz that blanket was noisy! I don’t know how you got any sleep 😅
Haha, I'll sleep through anything if I'm tired enough. Those mylar blankets are super noisy, but they work!
Nice job , where did you get the wood utensil set ?
Thanks! Dollarama in Quebec
@@CampfiresandColdBeers thanks
Was wondering, which Dollar store did you shop at? The tarp is not the one sold at "Dollar Tree". I thought the challenge was to spend only $10.

I really admire your tenacity, but please get a real knife, axe, and saw.😊
Appreciate that! I'm not the best at a lot of things, but I think I'm fairly decent at making the best of some situations! 😁

@CampfiresandColdBeers ha! For sure. Improvise, adapt, and overcome! Oorah my friend.
That turkey looked like canned catfood 🤢🤢🤢
Still not fully convinced there was any turkey in there 😅
Nice Video!
Thanks!
