It’s a brilliant little jig that almost gives your circular saw the accuracy of a chop saw. Pay close attention when setting it up and you will never have to worry about it again. At $25, this is a no brainer!
Great question, Woodly MK. This guide is similar, an enhanced speed square maybe. In addition to the grip - which is very good - it makes measurement and repeatability quick and easy.

I know, a real time saver for the money.
@@PicRic Definitely!

Gracias desde Chile!!
Isn’t this equivalent to a speed square? It seems like the only feature it has over the square is the grip it has

Can it be used left handed ie the opposite to what you were using it????
It can be flipped over and used that way if that is what you mean.
Yes thanks 🇦🇺
@@timothyfagan5725 You are welcome. Enjoy using the tool.
Good grief. All of the fiddling about is crazy. Pick up a framing square and be finished in a 10th the time
You didn't like using the Kreg Portable Cross Cut then?
@@PicRic I just received it and will be returning it and getting a plain ol Simpson rafting square. 8" is also too limiting in my opinion
@@buckobango Fair enough. I find it useful for some jobs but less so for others. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
